Called in for a quick tea, coffee and scones on our way home from holiday. Delicious home made scones. Good service. Toilets not so good and in need of cleaning. Also got showered by loose stones in car park access road by a middle aged petrol head wheel-spinning - look at me in my Porsche, aren't I wonderful ! Tarmac and speed bumps would be useful there when folk like him are driving so inconsiderately.

Terrific friendly caffe with good selection of food for take away and sit-in at sensible fees. Always welcoming with a smile, the Australian manager is great finding time however busy to greet and chat with regular customers and deliver excellent service to new as well. Highly recommended.

The entrance is very inviting which lures you in. Such a great selection of fresh, local and also unusual foods. We didn’t realise there was a seating area outside at the back until the end which was a lovely surprise to sit and have cake in the sun (any excuse) - we were all happy, full and satisfied with lovely food in our bellies and with a bag of goodies to take back away with us

I always order gluten free with trepidation but the gluten free panini at Hunters Tea Room was delicious. It was a good size (not tiny like some gf alternatives) beautifully toasted and the filling was delicious too. There were gluten free options for bread, panini, scones and crumpets. Well done Hunters!

Unfortunately this tearoom didnt live up to the hype - total and obvious lack of interest from the staff ( atleast 6 people working there when we visited, so no excuse)... starting from when we entered the premises wishing to escape from the rain and had to stand in a queue behind others whilst the waitress had a long conversation with a table of customers already seated - she could see the queue building and carrying on out of the shop, but made no attempt to make a polite excuse to the people she was talking to. Eventually shown to a table at the back. Husband ordered a BLT sandwich, which was made using cheap, thin sliced supermarket bread with a handful of lettuce leaves and a slice of cucumber on the side. Have had better bacon sandwiches at greasy motorway caffs! I ordered a cheese and tomato omelette. Husband's sandwich was produced, which he ate ( slowly) - no sign of my omelette. The staff were all gathered round the kitchen hatch debating what condolesences they should be offering to someone who had messaged regarding a relative in hospital. Conversation to be heard by all, and the debate raged endlessly whilst people waited for their food. Various cream teas were then distributed. We asked what had happened to the omelette, as my husband had finished his sandwich by now - a few staff faces peeked round at us as if to see who was daring to question, then after a few minutes an omelette was hastily produced, along with a handful of lettuce leaves and 4 tiny squares of..yes, thin, supermarket bread. The most expensive and tasteless omelette I've ever eaten, no way that any cheese was used in it's making, so basically just eggs and tomatoes. RIP off!! The older staff working there should be ensuring that the younger ones are doing their jobs and not being distracted by their personal chit chat, but sadly they were just as guilty. Won't be visiting again!

Came with 6 friends. Were dispatched on two tables cause very busy and full. Ordered food and drinks and paid at the bar. Food came really quickly. Speed service. Had a pizza that was ok, but lacked a bit taste/spices (oregano where were you?). Others in the group had some nice fish. As a foreigner I would still go just for the feeling of a buzzing English pub filled with people and their dogs. Enjoy!

Last time we went in August 24 it was excellent, certainly gone off the boil now. The food was mediocre and the meat in the pies was very poor quality. Quite a few people were also complaining so not just us. We went to the Swan on the second day

We booked a table for our party of eight on an early Saturday evening. We were sat at a nice table by the window with high seats. You have to order your food and drinks - no table service. There’s a good choice of good pub food which was reasonably priced, cooked fresh and well presented. We were all pleasantly surprised and would definitely return.

First time visit and certainly impressed. Busy Saturday night but we were seated at 6:00 and staff were welcoming. Efficient service and recommendations from the menu accepted. I had the curry, lamb bhuna with all the extras. The others had burgers or sausages. All extremely palatable. Warm and cosy environment. Just to add that the Naan bread was cold and replaced double quick with extra poppadoms and mango chutney. Great save by the head waiter.

We had a lovely stay at The Broadway Hotel—it's the perfect mix of charm, convenience, and comfort. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the village and walkable to everything Broadway has to offer. The hotel has both a bar and a restaurant; one of the dining areas features especially beautiful interior seating, though I’d recommend making reservations ahead of time if you want to dine there. The guest parking is a bit tricky to find at first—it’s through a small driveway with an automatic gate right beside the hotel. It’s convenient once you know where it is, but a bit more signage would be helpful. Our room was cozy and well-equipped. The bathtub was a standout, complete with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing soak. The room also included a tea kettle and a Nespresso machine (which might be standard across UK hotels, but still appreciated!). A portable fan was provided as well, which we used both for airflow and white noise to help muffle some distant dog barking at night. Overall, it was a very comfortable and charming stay in a beautiful, picturesque town. Would absolutely recommend The Broadway Hotel for anyone visiting the Cotswolds.
