Lunch average and then overcharged £34.95 when bill should have been £22.65, said where we were sat in the window and said what we had (to assist). When I said I think I’ve been overcharged the woman scowled at me and said she would put refund back on my card which i said would be appreciated. Second woman frowned turned to her colleague to say y’know we will be charged quite a bit for that, give the refund in cash to which I replied I would prefer back on card please as this wasn’t my fault! First frowned woman did apologise but with no genuine feeling. Felt really awkward and I was the customer! Dreadful customer service, should really invest in some adequate training. Will not return.

A group of 4 of us visited today and couldn’t have been made more unwelcome if they’d tried. The food and drinks were thrown at us , coffee cups were only half full, the skins in the jacket potatoes were so tough they were inedible and they had no dressing or butter with them. The tuna mayo filling had no mayo ! We ate in a nice courtyard at the back .

We stopped for a quick lunch on the way to our holiday destination. It is fair to say that the eating establishments of Broadway are a tourist trap rip off and they have a captive audience and it's take it or leave it. We each had a jacket potato, one with cheese and one with coleslaw, both with salad. The potatoes were baked just how we like them. We each had a nice tasting apple juice and a slice of apple pie for dessert. Not cheap but only to be expected in this location. The dining area is small and folk are brushing against one when passing by to tables. The servers - Saturday girls ? - were more interested in standing behind the counter talking than venturing out to take orders. My wife said the ladies toilet was clean and tidy but the gents was littered with tissues and wet on the floor. Not at all good.

Visited twice now; the first time myself and my wife both had dry cake, which was very disappointing. As we were in the area again recently (a couple of years later) we thought we try again, and had the exact same experience, dry cake... So either someone is not very good at baking, or more likely, they are serving stale cake! Needless to say we won't be returning, and you had more chances than most.

Found this little gem as we were walking around Broadway. Very helpful lady found us a table for two tucked away. As it’s not a very big tearoom it is a bit tight for the chairs but that makes it unique. All the cakes and scones are home made. I had hot chocolate and a warm cheese scone which was absolutely delicious. Hubby just had a pot of tea, lovely crockery. The soup looked delicious but as we had had a full English breakfast at the hotel it would have been too much. Although they were busy we didn’t have to wait very long. All the time we were in there people were trying to come in so you felt as soon as you had finished your drink etc you had to make way for the others to enjoy the lovely food. Will definitely visit again hopefully

What a cute little café in the middle of Broadway. It is so welcoming, comfortable and clearly popular with visitors. We opted for a tea with scones, where the lady even suggested. She bring them after our first baguette with salad which was delicious. The service really was charming throughout, even when I requested extra strong tea. It was met with a smile, and no problem at all Prices were extremely reasonable, and comparable with other cafés we passed in Broadway. The one thing I did notice in terms of attention to detail was our table was wonky and therefore a little bit irritating. Plus it was next to a radiator which really needed a deep clean things like this could really raise the bar slightly in my opinion. That being said I would return.

We came across this lovely little place and thank goodness we did. People with manners and knew how to welcome customers. We had previously attempted to have lunch in a rather larger restaurant, which sold everything but the kitchen sink, the entrance far too cramped with other customers, with no manners, so after a short walk we came across Hunters. The lady was very welcoming and the place was so cosy and very festive. Also spotlessly clean. We each had a panini, coronation chicken and tuna melt, with fresh salad on the side which were lovely. Delish just hot chocolate and coffee. The food was brought up quickly but knew it was freshly made. The ‘facilities’ were also spotlessly clean. We would recommend this little gem of a place in a heart beat.

Sunday morning, came to Broadway to take the dogs for a walk and grab a coffee. Thought we’d try Hunters Tea Room as it looked inviting from outside and we’d never tried it before. The design inside is really well put together with a merge of a modern and traditional tea room. With four dogs, we headed for the garden area at the back where we found a mix of shaded and an unshaded seating on comfortable garden furniture. Inside by the till there is a great selection of cakes and bakes that you won’t see on the menu, but we opted for a couple of cappuccinos, a pot of tea, pain au chocolat and a croissant. It was a fairly busy morning, but the drinks came out quickly, followed shortly after by the croissants. This is where it got a little disappointing, the drinks were pretty average and the croissants had that limp stretchy feel they get when you take a good croissant and blast it in the microwave, one of them looked a little sorry for itself, having imploded a little losing that voluminous shape that is one of signs of a good croissant and part of the pleasure of eating. Overall, it was really pleasant and for that reason worth another visit, just maybe not for croissants. The bill came to £18ish.

2 miserable staff were at the counter today. I was there to order panini and coffee to take away as the cafe was full. After few minutes I saw there were people leaving and asked the lady num 1 at the till if I could just eat my panini instead quickly on that table, lady num 2 who cleaned the table said to me rudely that there were people outside who’s waiting for that table that’s why she cleaned it. I was just a bit shocked the with her tone but didn’t say a word. Another old lady was leaving noticed my embarrassment and kindly offered her table to me, at least then I felt I was welcome. When lady num 1 finally served the panini to me, all I’ve noticed was her frowning face, I even have to say I promise I won’t be long. She just frowned and didn’t say a word. Very disappointed with how I was treated. Personally I felt like what did I do wrong for them to be rude and frowning at me? I didn’t feel welcome in that cafe. I think if you can just say things nicely, maybe give people a smile at the counter make your costumers feel welcome that would really make difference. It’s not just about taking orders and serving the food. It’s also about being hospitable. So after that experience, I'm never coming back to this cafe and would totally not recommend.

Small cosy place, food decent, staff acted a little strange. When we first got there, staff didn't seem to know what a baby was. Weren't very helpful or forthcoming on saying where we could put a pram, which table we could sit at etc. The first thing that was said was you can't put your pram there it is in front of the cakes..which I hadn't noticed until she said. Didn't smile, seemed a bit annoyed we were there. Would say you couldn't get more than one pram in this place. But eventually the staff helped with the above. Came and took order, didn't have brown bread or certain cheeses. Which seemed a bit strange for lunchtime, but not the end of the world for myself, might bother others. Food came fairly quick, was decent quality. Overall would recommend going.

We visited for lunch after travelling to the Cotswolds for a long weekend. We’ve been a few times (and enjoyed a breakfast or lunch) but this is our first review. We chose to sit outside in the courtyard as the sun was shining and we had dogs with us. We ordered jacket potatoes (one with tuna, the other with cheese and beans) and a pot of decaf tea for two. The potatoes had lovely crispy skins and were piping hot with soft, buttery potato and generous filling. The salad garnish was fresh, generous and drizzled with a light dressing. The tea was piping hot in a large pot so we each got two full cups. Staff checked back to make sure everything was ok and brought a couple of treats for our dogs which was a lovely gesture. Excellent value overall. Would happily return, or recommend to others.

A great cafe/restaurant. Recently extended, they’ve taken out the in-house butchers so there are lots more seats, but ideally you should book. Having said that each time we’ve been we have been able to get a table. Quite often we just go for a nice coffee and cake but the menu is quite extensive. On our most recent visit I had the breakfast brunch, which was great! My wife had tandoori chicken and chips (I know! She passed on a great breakfast, madness), which she thought was very good. The staff are great. The ambience is very relaxed and friendly. A lovely place to stop for either a coffee or a nice lunch. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely farm shop, with a nice selection of produce. There's a meat counter, fruit and vegetables, preserves and a wide selection of condiments, beers, cider and wine, bread, pastries and cakes. The restaurant is clean, with a variety of options, from brunches and snacks to more filling meals. My daughter had a latte and a blondie, which she really enjoyed, while I had the apple and blackberry crumble, which was a bit disappointing. It was a small tart and the pastry tasted quite oily, and left an unpleasant after taste. I think I'd like to try a savoury dish next time. Pleasant atmosphere, although the café was rather cold with constant coming and going. All in all a very nice farm shop.
