Little Al's Kitchen At Droitwich Spa Lido in Wychavon

Friendly cafe with good service and a quality sausage sandwich! Very dog friendly which is not so admired by me.

Lovely staff, always a pleasure to visit this lit gem.

Called in on Saturday while looking around the stalls in the park. Ordered a drink and a sandwich each. Whist waiting we chatted to a lovely lady about droitwich and the lido.. We sat out side to eat our bacon sandwich and sausage sandwich, the bread was lovely and fresh. Hubby said the bacon wasn't salty and nice thick slices. The sausages where Herby and very tasty. The hot chocolate was creamy and I'd say the best takeaway I've had. I would definitely recommend.

Usually pop in after a swim in the lido and this cafe has friendly staff, reasonably priced food and drinks, many locally sourced or homemade. Porridge and sausage sandwich both excellent on my last visit. Great local community relaxed atmosphere here so highly recommended.

Its okay It's popular...which is its blessing and its curse. When it's busy it's claustrophobic, and the noise of everyone echoing inside is horrible. You'll have someone who is walking their dog that day next to you, the dog continually vying for your food. They put your serviette under your hot sandwich, making your serviette greasy and dirty before you've used it and bits of it stuck to your sandwich.

Purchased a £5 Frappe that was served warm. When I asked for a piece of ice to put in it the server said no because they were low on ice ☹️ wouldn’t rush back

Nice cafe at edge of Ludo. Black pudding and sausage roll = delicious. Very dog friendly.

Went here for lunch with our daughter and grandson food was very nice there's Also a little play area for the little ones 😊

I am a weekly visitor to little Al’s usually for breakfast and coffee. The cafe is welcoming, friendly and has a unique community atmosphere to the place. Tge staff are lovely and the homemade cakes are delicious. It is very dog friendly. Can’t wait to introduce my new dog to my favourite cafe.

Nice sitting over looking pool fun under umbrellas. We had already eaten so just sat relaxed in shade. Wish we had not had can of fizzy lemonade from street food van, wish gone to Lido cafe.

The best bacon sandwich in Worcester!! (I’m here almost every week and truly haven’t found a better one in Worcestershire) Little Al’s is truly a brilliant cafe. The coffees are all made with care with a full barista set up. The food is home made and delicious, all great quality ingredients and it really shows. Even the simplest of food is tasty. Something to suit everyone’s needs and always well priced. The staff are a delight Alex really knows how to pick the right people. All that and it’s dog friendly to boot-you can also get the same delightful welcome at the other little Al’s spots at the Commandery The viaduct cafe, the splash pad at Gheluvelt park and the museum in Worcester. All brilliantly reliable for fab food and drinks

Brilliant coffee and great little porridge pots perfect stop after a swim! Tasty and well priced. Staff are always wonderful-I just heard one wishing their regulars a happy anniversary, how sweet!

To cold aircon blasting out seating poorly arranged!

Set within a very pleasant park and adjacent to the Lido the cafe is a real asset. The cafe is not plush but it is comfortable. The coffee was acceptable and there was a reasonable choice of cakes. The best feature was the friendly nature of the staff. There are toilets next door. These serve the park but they are not the most inviting facility.

The town I grew up in so it's always nice to come back.

Great little cafe serves the lido well for great coffee or a small snack 😋 after the early morning swim or any other time of the day. My go to place 😊

went to order and the older lady (blonde with glasses) spoke to me very rudely. Would not recommend. The other staff were lovely though.

Waited 5 minutes before even being acknowledged despite being first in the queue. Then another 5 minutes to receive my drink!!(a long time to be stood there like a lemon!) Oh well..at least I was entertained by the staffs chatter about what they got up to last night. No urgency whatsoever. This was at the leisure centre venue. However, when I finally received my order it was very nice coffee. Shame I had to rush it as my child had finished their swimming lesson by then :-(

You cannot beat a coffee or breakfast at Al's cafe. So reasonably priced, delicious and friendly service. The bacon teacake is genius. Also very pup and kid friendly. One of my faves ♥️

Perfect little cafe great food and drinks

Took my little dog for the first time and had a coffee. Lovely cup of coffee, food looked good from what I could see. Popular venue with outdoorsy people. Loved it as did my little dog. staff even gave out little bone treats to the many dogs that were there. Wish there were more places like this.

Lovely little cafe in the Park. Would definitely recommend trying the homemade chocolate cake. Visited many times and never been disappointed. I would also recommend you trying their other cafes.

Went there with my brother, to meet up with our big sis, and our nieces we've not seen for ages. I had a cranberry and brie toastie, yummy, the side salad and tortilla chips were a nice touch.

The atmosphere is so pleasant and welcoming. The coffee is excellent and the price is right. Great place for coffee or breakfast and dealt so well with 13 of us! Excellent.

What a lovely place to visit. The staff are extremely friendly and the food/drinks are of a very high quality. It has a real community feel and it’s lovely to look out at the lido pool one side and the park the other. The cafe also try’s to be very sustainable, by getting fresh milk from the dairy -( every morning)rather than having any plastic cartons-( bravo). Look out for the Facebook follower counter above one of the windows- it’s fun to watch it click over if people start to follow the cafe’s facebook page. Highly recommend visiting this lovely cafe.

The food is fine,I wasn’t happy at seeing a lady working there wiping the chairs over then using the same cloth to clean the tables,please have a chat with your staff about hygiene,

This is my weekend treat when I get chance. Walk in the park with my two dogs then pop here for coffee and breakfast. Great coffee, good reasonable priced breakfast choices and the dogs are very welcome and get a treat too

Best Tea Cake... ever. Lovely staff, nice place and very prompt service.

Few park cafes are up to this standard The Moroccan chicken salad, with a little bowl of homemade piccalilli and a freshly baked mini loaf was super. Similar interesting fresh and locally sourced food was on the menu. The place was packed with smiling citizens and their children. Don't miss it...

Limited food options. Only sandwiches and teacakes on menu. Still waited over 45minutes for a teacake!

Called here with several members of the family on the 3rd Thursday in August We had, cappuccino, whites and hot chocolate All very good quality & tasty.

Popped in for a quick drink and snack as we have been previously and the drinks and cake were delicious. Ordered a hot chocolate which came barely hot, a pot of tea which had black bits floating in the milk and a cheese sandwich. The cheese sandwich cost £5.50!!!! On the description it stated it would come with cheese and chutney. There was no chutney to be seen, no side salad or crisps (which was the least I was expecting for £5.50!). The cheese was grated finely and there were 3 hairs in the middle of it. I was very disappointed.

Called here with several members of the family on the 1st Friday in July. Very busy but worth waiting for. We had sausage sandwiches ham sandwich, cappuccino and flat whites. Service very friendly and sandwiches and coffees were really good. Can certainly recommend this place -which is ideally situated

Came here a couple of times after swim. Nice roomy café with lots of seating and friendly and helpful staff . Had a coffee and strawberry milkshake with extra cream. Second time had some food, brie toastie and chilli, toastie was very tasty, the chilli less so, maybe no salt, it was quite bland but had a good amount of mushrooms and generous glut of soured cream, served with nachos. Menu was a bit difficult to spot, on our first visit we only saw the sausage rolls in the glass display but wasn’t until second time when we saw people eating, that we realised the food is displayed on the board behind the counter. Could do with some paper menus on the table to show the choices or you would miss it. Here is a list of what was on the board that day: Bacon Teacake, Bacon Bap, Sausage Bap, Thick Toast, Brie Toastie, Toasted Teacake, Ham Sandwich, Cheese Sandwich, Mixed Bean Chilli. Selection of drinks, bubble tea, teas coffees, milkshake and ice creams, cakes and sausage rolls.

Al and his team always deliver an excellent sausage sandwich and one of the best Cappuccino's.

Service could have been a little more efficient; however, the band in the park had just finished for their interval. Otherwise, there are no complaints, and I would certainly recommend the sausage rolls 😋

Little Al’s is the best cafe in droitwich. The food and drink is amazing, and the staff are really friendly. Great for sitting in and taking away!

Top Dollar Cafe and Top Dollar Service + Dog friendly too and great for families !! Always an absolute pleasure to enjoy delicious homemade local produce and fab coffee and the sausage sandwich on soft white bread was enjoyed by my husband ! What a Bank Holiday Weekend, the owner and his super talented team do their very best for Droitwich and visitors to the area. The spicy parsnip soup was superb, very tasty and two super tasty mini granary rolls and proper butter!! I had it on both visits !!!!!!! Honestly you cannot get any better than this cafe, the attention to detail and the styling and atmosphere is really inviting. Over the Bank Holiday weekend we visited twice and were really happy with the service . Keep up the fantastic work . Am delighted the soup is staying on the menu for a few more weeks !!! See you next time !!

Great little local treasure in a beautiful setting with friendly staff. As well as lots of other options they had a beautiful vegan sausage roll and vegan flapjack. Best I've found so far in Droitwich!

Food is good and so is the coffee, prices are reasonable although on the more expensive side. But the main gripe is the speed; they’re far too slow with service. Takes ages for even a simple coffee.

Fantastic cafe spoilt by selfish dog owners who are happy for their animals to climb on the seating and tables. Might I suggest a notice in the cafe asking patrons to keep their animals on the floor’

This is directed at the staff working at the Leisure centre on the 27 April 2023 at 15:34. Wearing painted false nails or painted natural nails is a big no no 🤢🤢🤢 especially when preparing food!!! I went and got a coke from the machine instead of getting one of my favourite coffees. Disappointing, mucky,mucky

Brilliant cafe. We visited in our campa van, the owner made sure we were ok and offered us to refill our water etc. the coffee was outstanding. And the food was to a very high standard. Completely dog friendly so our golden retriever could visit. Staff were lovely every time we visited. Make sure you pay for your parking. It’s only a few pounds for all day.

Little Al's is an absolute gem of a place. Great coffee, homemade cakes and soup which are worth breaking any diet for, dog friendly and great staff. This is a must to visit!

Stopped in on Sunday morning mid-walk for a coffee and a cake. Really busy but service was decent and food/drinks were reasonable value.

Lovely café next to the Lido in the park. Bacon and sausage sandwiches were delicious, coffee was good. Had to sit outside as the seats inside were all full but plastic bags were provided so our bottoms stayed dry!

Wow what an amazing cafe. It was our second visit and fairplay to the fantastic owner, who even with his arm in a sling after a recent operation bothered to open and keep his staff and the locals happy. The food is delicious we had local back bacon on soft bread and it was great. The lovely young lady making them was doing an excellent job and for the staff there today it was definitely a military operation as they were 5 staff down. The Owner is what makes our country great as he is definitely a Superstar, he must have been in agony but everything ran fine and we were notified on entering that it would take a bit longer than normal. We were happy to wait. Droitwich is very lucky to have this Absolute Jewel of a cafe . Keep up the fantastic work and see you and your superb team next time! Oh + I had red and brown sauce on my bacon sandwich! Boom I was living the dream!!!!!

Regularly stop there for a cuppa and a cake..... so far carrot cake is my favourite, very friendly and helpful staff.

Really lovely coffee cakes and bacon sandwiches plus lots more, always helpful and friendly, my little dog Meg can't wait to go she gets so excited.......maybe its the doggy ice cream but all so dog friendly.

I have been visiting this café for almost a year after having my swim at the lido. It's one of my happy places! Always a friendly face, fantastic coffee and food. I always have toast after my swim and it comes with the cutest little wrapped butters, silly to get excited about such things but I do! It's dog friendly so there's often a doggo to fuss whilst there. It really is a little gem of a place. I love it.

Just had another visit to this lovely cafe, staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is great all the fresh cakes are home made and the sausage sandwiches are delicious they are dog friendly too which is a bonus. A pleasure to visit.

This is absolutely a ‘destination’ coffee shop; the best coffee in Droitwich, wonderful home made cakes and super-packed sandwiches, friendly staff who make you welcome. Child and dog friendly, sitting out on the sunny patio overlooking the beautiful lido is the bonus.

Delicious food and very friendly service in a beautiful setting. The sandwiches were excellent, had a good amount of filling and fluffy fresh bread. Would definitely recommend.

A family favourite for a cuppa, yummy latte coffee and lunch. A selection of freshly made food to order; we enjoyed sandwiches, soup, tasty toasties, yummy cakes and ice cream. Catering for all appetites, big or small. Lovely, welcoming, friendly, service with a smile. Perfect location to enjoy nature watching; Cafe in the heart of the Lido Park. Fully recommended. Well deserving of 5 stars! ☆☆☆☆☆

Top quality food and service with a smile. The toasties are amazing, so full of flavour, if they have the three chili sausages, I recommend them wholeheartedly. Also worth popping along for a live music night when they run. A nice cozy atmosphere and again, freshly cooked nibbles, the mozzarella sticks are sooo tempting.

We grabbed a coffee whilst walking through the lido Park. To be fair the staff were very friendly but so slow and a bit haphazard. I don't mind waiting for good coffee but unfortunately it was mediocre at best and quite over priced.

Having only come here previously for ice creams in the summer, we stopped in during a walk on new year's eve. Lovely to see the cafe so busy! Had soup -delicious, sausage sandwich - delicious, and some of the cakes (all delicious!!). Gorgeous food, friendly staff, lovely location. Highly recommended

Have used both the Lido and the Leisure Centre cafe and found staff in both absolutely brilliant. Kind and helpful. Cakes are yummy and I'm worried that I won't be able to resist every week post swim! The Lido staff are wonderful with my dog and its probably the one place he's happy to sit in whilst I eat.

Just visited the new cafe in the leisure centre run by you guys, while clean and a lot fresher than before the prices are extortionate….it’s a community leisure centre not DAVID LLOYD £2 for a cup (not a mug) of tea is a joke
