Called in for a quick tea, coffee and scones on our way home from holiday. Delicious home made scones. Good service. Toilets not so good and in need of cleaning. Also got showered by loose stones in car park access road by a middle aged petrol head wheel-spinning - look at me in my Porsche, aren't I wonderful ! Tarmac and speed bumps would be useful there when folk like him are driving so inconsiderately.

Stopped here for an afternoon cup of tea. Wonderful! Proper large teapot and china cups and saucers. Huge slices of sponge cakes - coffee and walnut and lemon meringue that would have been a credit to Mary Berry!

Loja e sala de chá. A loja está repleta de produtos locais e não só, desde as cidras, às carnes curadas, frutas , vegetais e doçaria local. Sala de chá muito acolhedora.

Excellent full English. Home made sausages, good bacon, well cooked. All very good. Very friendly staff. Tom and his team are doing some really exciting things and have big plans for the Wayside. Watch this space.

Amazing coffee, amazing staff, amazing town with very nice people. I had a fantastic time there overall. However, reception is poor in Bishampton town and inside the shop or any buildings you might not be able to make any calls, send messages, or make online payments without network interruptions. I really hope the relevant authorities can improve mobile phone network reception in the area. Also if you plan on using a debit card at the village shop/post office to pay for coffee and other items, it might not work for some reason. It’s the single most painful experience I had to endure since I had to look for another post office to withdraw cash.

Lovely local pub. They allowed people to order food in because they don’t offer food themselves. So we ordered from the restaurant next door. Barmaid really knew her stuff. She recommended tasty ciders and combos. She has lots of knowledge on local ales and ciders. Live music most nights. Very lovely and friendly vibe. Best that we found in the centre so far.
