Amazing coffee, amazing staff, amazing town with very nice people. I had a fantastic time there overall. However, reception is poor in Bishampton town and inside the shop or any buildings you might not be able to make any calls, send messages, or make online payments without network interruptions. I really hope the relevant authorities can improve mobile phone network reception in the area. Also if you plan on using a debit card at the village shop/post office to pay for coffee and other items, it might not work for some reason. It’s the single most painful experience I had to endure since I had to look for another post office to withdraw cash.

Exactly how a village store/post office should be. Great people, great service and you can get cake and coffee. What’s not to like?

Great place to stop when we’re out on our bikes (for exercise obviously). Fresh made coffee is good and you can always get a few odds and ends for lunch etc. Very friendly staff at all times. Look forward to lockdown ending, warmer days, when we can sample lunch here.

Only three miles from me, very handy, stock a lot of local food such as Laurences Bakery, local meats etc - despite its small size, they have pretty much everything - even car magazines!

Happened upon this tiny cafe by chance. At first we didn't realise it was a cafe, just thought it was a post office. We arrived in the village too early for our Sunday lunch at the pub. We had an hour to kill and we fancied a cuppa. We had to wait for a table but that was understandable as there are only a few. We sat outside with our drinks at first but then moved inside to the leather sofa. The service was overly friendly (very refreshing!). Prices - standard and acceptable. I would frequent all the time if I were more local, a lovely little stop off!

The village shop in Bishampton is under new management. It has been totally reorganised and stocks just about everything and anything you could possibly want including lovely fresh vegetables and fruit, locally produced meat products, such as yummy sausages and burghers and bread, cakes and pastries from a local baker. The shelves are laid out comprehensively and everything is easy to locate, all in all a huge success and the shop is an enormous benefit to Bishampton and all the nearby villages. Very well done Zoe and Karen.

As a visitor to the area I found the lady who runs the shop/post office to be really friendly and helpful. She was able to give me information about bus times, suggest places to visit and when she couldn't answer a question I had found another very friendly local lady who could help me. Shop has all the emergency bits that you might need and fresh veg/fruit and bread.

Muy a menudo, encontrarse con colegas del ciclismo que vienen de Bromsgrove mientras yo de ciclo Evesham. Went for a curry with family and friends last week. Samosas really good, chicken karahi was a delicious balance of flavour and spice. Rice and naan very good too. Good varied menu. Overall a fantastic meal. Enjoyed it so much taking my husband this week :-)

This is my third time visiting here for a curry, they have all been excellent. They have now started providing milder curries which may suit more people. We started with veg samosas with three different dips then went onto have the Chicken Korma which was one of the best I have had, the rice was tasty and the naans, large, home made and delicious. Previously I have had the spicier curries and they have been great too. The portions are now generous. We then split a mango cheesecake and a raspberry and white chocolate version which were lovely. This is a new venture so service is improving and it would be great to see people support them

I love coming here and come most weeks. Lisa and Tony who run it are lovely and they have really nice food, very cheap surprisingly too. It’s got a nice ambience about the place especially when you sit outside with the wind chimes and the old antiques that surround you. There also some antiques/curiosity cabins next door and there’s a nice communal feel between them and the tea room. In short, visit here and come and enjoy the nice ambience 😌

Simply disappointed. No meet and greet at the door. We just stood in the entrance despite a staff member doing nothing. Disproportionate amount of time waiting for a menu. Asked to choose wine before we had even seen a menu. There were lots of changes to the menu which we were verbally told but to repeat this to all diners was time consuming. A simple menu reprint would have been better. The waitresses were polite but there was no happiness. When we asked one to explain what something was the answer came back as ‘a pastry thing’. There was a lack of dish knowledge by everyone except the main man. Who was running around taking orders and producing bills and basically doing the brunt of the work. The terrine starter and beetroot gravlax were bland. Main courses were good but the chocolate torte was more of a sponge cake with no robust/ deep taste. The wine we chose was good and reasonably priced. It was meant to be a special occasion but was an expensive lack lustre affair.

Took them up on their two fish and chips for £18. The meals were excellent. Crispy batter, tasty haddock, crispy chips with fluffy centres. Best we've had for a good long while. And not too big either so could walk away not feeling over stuffed. We'll done Anchor.
