Fantastic as always. The sweet potato soup was delicious and the club Panini was spectacular. Their coffee is wonderful too. On top of having lovely food, the café/shop is cosy and have a great variety of interesting products and fresh vegetables and deli items. The service is attentive and polite. 100% recommend.

Very charismatic place to eat in Broadway. They've also got an impressive collection of imported products (mainly Italian)! The service doesn't really match the looks or price point - mostly teenagers, some of which seem less than happy to be there (the young man at the deli counter was a positive exception). Bread was passed from bakery to kitchen with bare hands and touching garments. One of our toasties was wrong and took another 20min to come. Would still come back. Take away toasties are £5.50 cheaper than eat in!

It’s such a shame that they’ve chosen to serve coffees in plastic beakers with no handles!! Also, I’d have expected sea / rock salt, rather than little sachets in a cup! Corner cutting will drive away custom. Very disappointing particularly when you’re paying premium prices!

Stopped off here whilst travelling through Broadway. Purchased 1coffee and 1 tea and 2 Portuguese tarts which came to just under £18.00. The Broadway Deli is easily one of the best food shops in North East London. The Monmouth coffee is fantastic and the bread, especially the seeded baguettes, probably the best bread I have ever had. Alongside that, there's a great wine selection and lots of deli items to try (the pizzas are a particular favourite). All of the staff here are wonderful and show a genuine care and interest in the people who visit. There is a real sense of community in this shop, alongside what I consider faultless service. This is a lovely little Deli on the beautiful Broadway highstreet. The food is delicious, the staff are lovely and the decor is quirky, but I wish the coffee was better. Patrick's (the Deli) has been one of my favourites for years, but currently they seem to be resting on their laurels. The upstairs rooms were cold and have very harsh lighting which kills any sense of cosiness. It's all very quirky. Especially the bathroom with potted plants in the bath and the lifesize Ostrich head on the back of the door! 😄 The stock of fascinating international foodstuffs is just mind blowing and in itself, well worth the visit. Was welcomed by a lovely smiley bearded guy that I have known and met at the Deli for years..... Breakfast ....Delicious food. However waited ages for our food to arrive. Other tables were getting their food before us. I eat here often and I am a local so was rather surprised and I ordered my usual that I knew would take a little bit longer to prepare. However we waited for probably 45 minutes.... more even according to my friend. After the meal. I mentioned how long we had to wait to the waiter at the till and asked for a discount. Another member of staff came out to speak to me , sadly he was very offish and no eye contact and didnt smile and didn't really come across as genuine when apologising for the lateness of our food. He came across as if I was an inconvenience. This service and how I was dealt with really bothered me as I have been coming here for years and lways had a lovely relationship with other staff..... What a shame........ I did get a discount. But I wished I hadn't said anything to avoid this awfulness from.one particular staff.

The deli was heaving with orders for takeaway so obviously doing a great trade We waited ages for the food in the freezing cold outside before realising that there was an upstairs So to get warm we took our toasties upstairs One of the staff (small set man) literally barged past people to get to us and charge us VAT - £4 extra as we'd eaten in and not taken away! On our way out I gave him the extra £4 and he queried how many toasties had been eaten. I feel that this was unacceptable and showed a very greedy person who was already making lots of money and was bent on charging as much as he could! Shame as the toasties were good although at £6.50 each, they should be 😔 Won't be returning as there are many more places to eat in Broadway

On this occasion however we ordered a soup and a sandwich which were both inedible. When asked if we enjoyed our meal we ‘very politely’ gave some very simple feedback. This was greeted with a tirade in terms of response to counter our views were contrary to the staff members own views. I stated that why bother to ask our opinion if this was simply going to engage in an argument which was totally unnecessary. After 12 years and supporting the business throughout Covid we shall not be returning.

We decided to pop into the Broadway Deli for a coffee and something to eat while in the area. Originally, we would go to another coffee shop nearby, but circumstantial situations regarding bad weather and limited seating meant we popped in here instead. The staff were fairly friendly and were rushed off their feet with it being a weekend morning. We ordered a bacon sandwich, the toasted panettone with a pistachio spread, two flat whites, a macchiato and an iced americano between us. All of which were lovely. My one complaint is the attentiveness of the service. While I appreciate it was a busy weekend morning, it did take double the expected time for our food to arrive. In addition to this, because our coffees were served first, we had nearly finished them and had to order more by the time we actually sat down to eat. Aside from that, the atmosphere was fairly pleasant. The brunch itself was fairly expensive, but, not a surprise being in a main tourist area, and cannot entirely complain about the portions as they were reasonable. Overall, a nice place to pop into for a quick coffee or tea break, or brunch,

Unfortunately a pretty underwhelming experience. Despite being a lovely sandwich and tasty coffee the staff were so long faced and unfriendly. Totally undermined what should have been a highlight of the itinerary. Lady working with the toasties couldn’t look as though she wanted to be there any less if she tried. Then shortly after we were kicked out the cafe upstairs as you’re not allowed to eat sandwiches (cakes etc being allowed?) I’d suggest going to the tea shop down the road. Warm reception and service with proper Great British scones, jam and clotted cream! Yummy!

Such an amazing evening! Sat in front of an open fire playing board games and then listening to live music by candlelight. Lovely atmosphere. Landlord and bar staff so welcoming and friendly. Option to take in food from any local takeaway! We only meant to stay 30 mins we ended up staying 5 hours plus!!

We visited here for a Father’s Day lunch. Luckily we could just walk-in, as we hadn’t actually booked a table. The cheese toasties that we had were so good. They were so buttery and crispy. The sweet treats were also amazing. I had a kinder bueno cookie which I very much enjoyed! The only negative about this place was that it felt quite dark inside. Obviously it’s a barn, but it felt very enclosed not having any windows or another door to see outside. It looked as though they were building an outdoor area when we visited, so it would be nice to go back in the summer.
