Had a great flat white and breakfast of avocado on sour dough, very nice and staff were friendly with fast service. food almost came too quickly!

We like our afternoon tea and this was done really well in a lovely setting. The sandwiches were enhanced by the addition of small savouries; scotch egg pieces, quiche, sausage roll slices. Everything looked great and tasted it too. The cakes and scones were equally good. Bottomless pots of tea in lovely teapots. We chose juice to accompany our tea but could have had fizz for the same very reasonable price. The surroundings and decor are lovely. The staff very helpful and friendly as well. We will be going again.

Stopped off on our way to melksham, just for a drink. Coffee and a Pepsi Max both of which were fine. The pub itself is very appealing in appearance and very clean throughout, with pub games and selection of books. The toilets were again very clean, almost sun glasses were needed once entering the toilet. The decor was clean and bright in the bar areas. The menu looked very nice and a good selection, a gentleman on the nearby table was eating and what he had looked very appetizing we would certainly be stopping off again to try out the meals and dessert. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. There's a car park opposite which we did miss. But parking is available up the road if you do like us. Definitely worth checking out for a meal or even a night out as they have plenty of music themed weekends

This is my second trip to this cafe in the Garden Centre since it was taken over by the owners of that centre (previously it was out-sourced). And sadly they have not overcome the initial 'teething troubles' and it is far less of a 'go to' meal experience than it was under the previous management. The breakfast menu ends at 11:00 but the lunch menu does not start until 11:30 so there is a half-hour gap where only light snacks are available. The reduced number of tables creates a problem and this is exacerbated in the run-up to Christmas as several tables were reserved. The food, prices and service are OK however. With the closure of the cafe attached to the Southwick Country Park just down the road this is now the only cafe available on that side of Trowbridge. Overall - OK but nothing special.

Food was very greasy, ingredients didn't seem great quality, and I thought a bit over priced. Staff were very friendly and polite, so may have been a bad day.

We used to visit the M&S cafe a few years ago. In those days you each had a free biscuit, a cup and saucer and ice cold water with a slice of lemon to go with the espresso. Today (4/3/23) you get a scalding hot mug of insipid undrinkable foul liquid, filled to the brim leaving no room for milk, without a saucer. You can also get an espresso that tastes like battery acid (my stomach is still suffering 6 hours later) and luke warm water in a filthy glass. Never again!

Had "ham" egg and chips. The menu says Tunley Farm Wiltshire Ham - what I got was a plate of plastic slimy meat. I questioned the ham with the waitress and was assured it was cooked and sliced on the premises - No Way! This ham came out of plastic wrapping and did not replicate the picture on their website. Very disappointed and did not eat it - eggs were greasy but chips were ok though!
