My daughter is a full time wheelchair user and we frequently have evenings meals and sunday lunch. Fully accessible throughout the venue. Any issues were quickly addressed would recommend.

The worst fish and chips I've had for a very, very long time. Frozen peas, very ordinary chips and as for the fish... I left all the batter (limp and oily) and half the fish. I don't know what sort it was, but the thicker end was dark in colour, tough and stringy. If I'd had more time I'd have left the lot and complained, but I was very hungry and (after waiting nearly half an hour) in a hurry to be away, so I simply left the pile of uneaten food on the plate without comment.

If you use a wheelchair forget it. There are steps at the front and the door for the level access is too narrow for a standard wheelchair. I actually got wedged and had to be pushed back out. The side door to leading to the Pump House venue was locked even though it was the only accessible entrance. Apparently they expect you to come through the pub so that sort of rules out wheelchair users. In this day and age you don’t expect this blatant disregard of disabled visitors.

Six of us and a baby turned up unannounced for lunch, found a suitable table straight away.. 2 of us like our ale and had a pint of Horizon.. Scratch that I had 2 pints in the end.. We all had meals ranging from burgers, liver and onions and basket meals.. The choice was great for us.. they even offer the option of a smaller portion which was quite ample for my wife who had liver and mash.. The lively lady behind the bar was welcoming and really helpfull.. We had a few games of pool qhilst waiting for the food, which came in good time.. A really nice pub with good food and a well kept pint.. Thank you The Lamb

After looking on Google to find a dog friendly pub for lunch on Valentine's day with my daughter, grandchildren & their small well behaved, friendly dog. We visited The Lamb Inn Trowbridge which Google stated was dog friendly. Well The Lamb Inn Trowbridge is NOT dog friendly & their are NOT friendly either. Shame nice pub.

If I give 0 stars I would, absolutely disgusting service supporting a group of disabled adults to a skittles game and lunch. Over an hour and a half wait for food and although the waitresses and bar staff couldn’t be faulted the way the manager Rose came out and spoke quite openly about the people we support which could be heard by all is nothing short of disgusting. Apparently “these people” was the terminology used, shouldn’t be allowed to attend without a carer…very inclusive. The cock up with the orders were somehow our fault and should be pre-ordered. You are a pub that have the dates of our attendance very far in advance so surly you should ensure you have enough staff available to accommodate us before agreeing to these dates in the first place. On arrival we asked the staff member behind the bar if you were only doing basket meals or the whole main menu, we were told the whole main menu so this is what we orders from. Almost an hour and a half later we were still waiting The people we support could hear the horrible words coming out of your mouth. Some of whom it takes a lot of courage to enter the community unsupported. Think how they now feel? I for one will not be spending a penny in your establishment again and advise anyone with a disability to do the same. Discrimination of people with a learning disability should not be tolerated at all especially in this day and age when inclusive culture should be promoted. Sorry that the people we support were such a burden to your day as you clearly have a problem with them enjoying a social meet up amongst friends. Avoid!!

Absolutely appalled by what was witnessed today. The manager of the Lamb publicly humiliating those with a learning disability who we were supporting for some lunch and a game of skittles. They put money in your till, order food and drinks and pay a fee to hire your hall and still get the most awful abuse just because you were not prepared to accommodate us. Saying that “these people” should not be aloud to attend a pub independently as they are “stupid” as one lady mistakenly took someone else’s food order. This has resulted in individuals saying they no longer wish to attend or go out in the community independently as they heard the vile words they were being called. You should be ashamed of yourself!

We attended a lunch by the Royal Air Forces Association at 12.00 for 12.30. There were about 25 of us and I had Sausage Eggs and Chips followed by Butterscotch Pudding and custard. The sausages were very tasty but the chips were rather limp and one of the eggs was overcooked. The Butterscotch Pudding was OK, but for me it was spoilt by having custard which was far too sweet and which I had to leave. Although the lunch was booked for 12.30 it was nearly 12.50 before anyone was served. I think they were short staffed as some of the group were served nearer 13.00, by which time others had nearly finished their mains. Some of the group had ordered the Chicken Dinner but found the Chicken Breast quite dry and the pale cabbage rather bland.

This is a nice pub with friendly welcoming staff. Sky sports on the big screens. The menu isn’t large but the food was top quality. Recommend the bbq chicken. Will definitely return here to eat again.

We spent two nights in this 18 bedroom country inn . Youngs Brewery have managed to present this hotel in a manner which avoids sophistication and pretentiousness . The Inn still retains its casual charm - you really feel you are away from the bright artificial lights ! The bedrooms are comfortable , with attractive furnishings and interesting pieces of antique 'brown' furniture - a welcome change from predictable and boring 'hotel furniture'.! The staff are friendly and helpful . Breakfast is really excellent , and local produce is served where possible . We ate dinner on one night , and had the most delicious fish and chips - the fishes were more like whales ; half a serving would have sufficed for each of us . We understand that the hotel is almost always fully booked - this is no surprise to us . There are few parking restrictions in the village ; we had no difficulty . The situation is ideal for sightseeing and country events - no need to be bored . It is wonderful walking country and we saw many hikers taking advantage of the bucolic surroundings and lovely weather . Highly recommended .

6 of us went to this venue for lunch and had very pleasant main meals and excellent desserts. In this day and age where desserts start at £5.99 we were delighted to pay only £3.99. We will be back shortly.

Not very hospitable to non regular customers. Our first time in the area and we came in to watch the football, Asked for a tissue from the girl behind the bar and the response was "there's toilets over there" along with her rolling her eyes.. not friendly and won't be back on our next visit to the area.

Our local Friendship Club had our Christmas lunch there on December 2nd. There was a party of 35+ so service was a bit strained with so many to serve at the same time. Unfortunately my choice of Roast Beef was served last. The beef was excellent as was the roast poratoes, but by then the vegetables had been circulated for some time in metal dishes and were now cold, so I skipped them. I followed up with a generous cheese and biscuits which were fine and then tea.

Popped in 3 times over the weekend to discover food had stopped. Who can afford to stop serving food at 6pm on a Saturday and 3pm on a Sunday??? Bar staff were friendly. Drinks well priced. But check food times prior to going.

A group of good friends from Newbury joined me and thoroughly enjoyed a lovely early evening meal at The Lamb. The food was served with perfect timing and nothing was too much trouble. Great value and well presented meals for everyone.

The Lamb is a reasonable pub set on a street corner with limited parking. There are a couple picnic tables outside but this seems to be primarily for smokers since there is only a view of a busy road.

Would just like to let people know how lovely our visit was her last week. We arrived just as breakfast was finishing but were still offered the service. The lady serving was incredibly friendly nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money and wide variety of choice.

I have a dairy intolerance and was served a meal with butter, slaw and mayonnaise after I had told them about my intolerance. The meal was taken away and I was served a Ham baguette with most of the meat inside being just fat and I found spread in the roll. The mustard turned out to be mayonnaise with mustard seeds in it. My family member asked for Fish and chips yet she was served Fish with French fries. I ended leaving the cafe completely disgusted and will never return.

Wedding coordinators both amazing. Prompt and professional support and advice. Food was better than some Michelin restaurants I’ve been to. Five star quality; amazing service and would highly recommend. Venue went over and above what was necessary from free coffee to supporting external vendors and accommodation

We came here for lunch and as we’ve been several times before, I was expecting to have the chicken Caesar salad. Well the menu has changed and there were no salads to be had at all! I opted for the fishcakes. They were disgusting! Also, I think they should rename them potato cakes as I couldn’t find any fish by taste or sight! And at £15 a plate, I thought it was absolute daylight robbery! I will never return to this place
