We called in for some take away food. Had the homity pie (cold but delicious) and sausage roll (hot but delicious I was told) plus a really nice mixed salad (you can choose from a mix and match selection). Enjoyed them on the harbour wall on a lovely sunny day.

Magpies is a brilliant cafe. The food and coffee is amazing, especially the scones. It is so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We would highly recommend it.

Lovely cafe. Our first visit and we weren’t disappointed. Our full English was really tasty and the coffee was amazing. Highly recommend the Cosy Bean Cafe

We went here for lunch time today with our 2 children and 1 baby. We enquired about a highchair and they said we weren’t allowed to sit at the table we’d sat at with a highchair and they’re wasn’t any room. There was plenty of room. We felt we were turned away due to coming with children. We were paying customers coming to buy lunch, drinks etc. we were told we could sit at another table even though there clearly weren’t any others. I won’t be returning here. Now my baby and toddler have to sit in the car to eat their food.

Expensive for what it is. They don't really cook, it's just a collection of low quality ingredients... (Probably canned) Too bad.... At 1 p.m., they only offer part of their menu, i.e. only breakfasts and not the hamburgers for example. Need to communicate better with customers or separate cards better. I do not recommend.

A pretty building in a pretty village. And the best rated tearoom apparently. This can only lead one to come to the sad conclusion that one is in an old-fashioned tourist trap. Sandwiches at £11 plus should always be a warning. But when they come out looking like something you could get at the next town along for half the price, your heart will sink and your wallet groan. The savoury cream tea we had didn't fare any better. Instead of a quality cheddar, expect cream cheese. The chutney is likewise lacklustre, sporting a vinegary tone, The scone is just bland. Oh, and stick to the local Costa for your coffee. Unless you favour coffee- flavoured foam.

Customer service terrible! After cancelling a booking a couple of hours after making it and calling and emailing several times to question the deposit of £50 being kept, I was ignored and then finally got a very rude supervisor calling to tell me I had read the terms and conditions incorrectly. She said that I obviously couldn’t afford it and didn’t want to pay which I found very insulting! I repeatedly asked to speak to the manager and she denied my request. I’ve never been spoken to so rudely and with such a condescending attitude by a hotel or any business that supposedly prides themselves on a warm, friendly customer experience.

We were walking down the street in Minehead looking for lunch at a dog friendly cafe and was asked by a friendly lady if we needed directions. She suggested the Toucan cafe as it sold excellent food. We followed her advice and were certainly not disappointed; the food was delicious and it had a lovely ambience. We had toasted sandwiches with side salad and either a smoothie or a latte. Would recommend and will certainly visit again if we return to this area.

Beautiful setting; a quintessential English garden. We have visited Kitnors over the past few years whilst holidaying in Devon but our last visit was very disappointing. Ordered cheese on toast and cheese scones. Thin sliced loaf with thinly processed cheese. Scones were tiny with thinly sliced processed cheese. Small portions of chutney. All served on small tea plates. We’ve always promoted Kitnors to others but sadly not anymore. Staff were friendly but food was poor.
