Fantastic family run cafe with delicious food. A must if you're vegetarian or vegan, but a great selection for meat eaters too. I'm not sure I can think of anywhere in Poole that's comparable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there are plenty of books and board games available to use. Highly recommended!

We try to always eat here when we visit Poole. The fish and chips were great and service was good, friendly and prompt even though it was very busy.

Shout out to a trainee barista who served me this afternoon! (I am sorry I should have asked his name) I visited the Nero around 3pm this afternoon and asking for an Iced Mocha (not Frappe) which was not on the menu. However he was willing to make me one and served with a big smile. Thank you :)

Disclaimer. I have never been to this museum. I've been to Poole many times in the past but not for a few decades. So why am I posting a review? See the attached image which appeared on Reddit today and I'm doing my best to distribute the awesome wholesomeness this museum promotes. When I do go to Poole next, this museum will be my first port of call.

Only just getting round to writing this review as I am rubbish and totally forgot! My mum and I have been here a few times for brunch, her recommendation as she comes often after park run. I’m vegetarian and have found the menu to be varied, the food always of fab quality and really tasty. The coffee is also great! Daveena herself is so lovely and always makes the experience even better. I’d recommend Daveena’s to anyone wanting a tasty breakfast or light lunch!

I have tried this place a number of times because its closest place to my elderly mums flat. It looks so inviting but it is so disappointing every time! The food is expensive and bland and the most puzzling this is the tea! How can you not make a decent cup of tea?? Always a weak pot of gnats .... I have no idea what tea you use but its dreadful and probably cheap. Very annoying when it's almost £5 for half a pot !! Absolute rip off

Although there is a disabled parking space outside, the roads to it are all closed. Nothing to do with the pub though. The wife and I struggled to get there. I come from Poole, but have never been inside this historic harbour inn. As soon as you walk in, you can visualise the history, the smuggling plots being made by sailors of old, those walls could tell some tales. I was greeted by Kerry, who seemed very pleasant. I was really pleased to see dimpled handles in the pint and also the half. I mentioned that these are few and far between, and in her own words "this is a proper pub", and I cannot disagree. Two vessels of Best were poured and we sat by a window. Also present was "the founder member of the Glee Club" ( sarcasm on my part? absolutely ! ) aka the bearded landlord, I presume, who scowled around looking generally miserable, with no conversation to his customers or staff. We enjoyed our drinks and left, part of me satisfied with our visit, but underwhelmed by Mr. Chuckles.

I walked into the store late Sunday afternoon. The door was open, no signs that the coffe shop is closed. A barrista was serving another customer. Without any greeting or apology, he just blurped out: "We close. We closed, Mam. " I left the shop, while another customer was still beeing served. The store either should have cloze doors or serve all customers equally.
