Brings some much needed night life to the centre of Poole. (am reviewing as a club / late bar as no idea what it’s like in the day) fun and lively atmosphere. Fun mix of music with a decent mix of commercial and more energetic house n bassy music from good young dj (supporting young local talent very good). Lost a star for me as the sound system is in need of upgrade in order to provide the experience I think they are going for during the night. The speakers weren’t quite up to the music they were pushing and the addition of a couple of big subs would do wonders. Will return on our return to Poole definitely. Good last stop on a bar crawl. Friendly door staff and fair bouncers (I got kicked out for the very fair enough reason of throwing a cup of water over my shoulder phaha )

Karaoke queue is not respected, by the manager. Went to Soho pub on the Quay and about an hour in, the manager took the mec and never let go. Like we all want to listen to some dude sing karaoke to us all night. Ridiculous...smh. LOVED the KJ, but he knows who pays him. NEVER again.

Excellent service, food 👌 the best fish and chips for miles around .Batter was light, no taste of oil . Fish was fresh as it can be . Chips amazing.

Advertised as opening at 9am for breakfast. Got there at 9.15 but closed. Waited for 5min but had to take our business elsewhere. Very poor. If you say you'll be open at 9. Open at 9!!!

Lovely meal at the Soho Bar - good friendly relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious - well worth a visit. Will be visiting again soon

Had a great evening there celebrating a birthday with family and the whole place was great staff excellent atmosphere jumping.

Will definately go back. Food was spot on. Will try other dishes next time. Just perfect. Really cheap considering the amount of food served.

Went with a mate of mine heard about the roast they do, have to go say amazing well worth the money all fresh, flavours where amazing and a lot of pride with presentation. So if your looking for a good roast soho is the one, friendly staff and welcoming to family’s too. Fantastic can’t fault them.

Popped in here after an awful experience at another local eatery. So glad we did. Ordered two roasts, one lasagna and a fish and chips. Roasts were amazing. Full of flavour and well cooked. Fish and chips and the lasagna were also really nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Quirky layout inside and not rammed to the max with tables. So glad we took the chance on this place. We will definitely go back.

Friday Fish and chips and the service were excellent. Great setting and a cool rustic look and feel. We won't hesitate to go back.

My husband & I had a lovely lunch yesterday ( Sunday ). The roast dinners are fantastic & so reasonably priced! The guy who served us gave us excellent customer service & couldn't do enough to help. The decor & atmosphere was so nice. Thoroughly recommend this place.

The board outside offering 2 for 1 food at lunchtime enticed us in. We weren’t totally sure as it is clearly a bar/club at night. However, have to say that the service was great and the food hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service well mannered staff and had a very nice chat , due o it not being busy we was able to find out a bit more about this lovely quirky place, I had fish and chips 9/10 the wife had the chicken roast 9/10 and certainly not over priced will visit again thank you, the interior deco has some lovely features ,check out the brick wall and finish on the table tops , may not be to every bodies taste but if like me you do not like boring then this is something worth seeing

Scrumptious Sunday roast for 2. Option of beef or gammon on the day we visited, with all of the usual veggies. Fabulous portions, any condiment you can think of and fab service. Compliments to chef Dan and Adam for the wonderful service. The venue is bright, cosy warm and has some window seating for the important task of watching the world go by! A must go to in Poole, if not only for their espresso martinis 😉

Clean bar area and staff were nice ... Toilets desgusting in fact i refused to go ... drinks nice food omg we had roast beef ... to be truefull my dogs wouldnt have eaten it .. cooked day before ..couldnt cut or chew the beef ,roast pots were one to two days old by the taste .. yorkshire puds ok but cold n greasy, plates stone cold The poor bar girl come to c if we were ok and she was embarrassed..but bless her she only charged us for the bits we eaten .. I mean people with out chef qualifications have been cooking roast for years ...so how dod this pub get it so wrong mind could have been worst we could have gone for the chicken and ended up in hospital ,instead of suffering the very bad case of indejestion

Great food and an excellent service.

The best service I have ever received from any restaurant/bar (management/owner, not sure which) was so helpful and went above and beyond to give us a full English as we couldn’t find one anywhere in the area. Food as well was amazing, so delicious. 100% the best service I have ever received the young lady was very polite and gave us a great experience to Highly recommend this place very beautiful design, great music and lovely staff members If you are passing, definitely pop in and have some nice food 😎

Great food and by far the best place to go in Poole for a night out

4 of us had Burgers. 4 of us were very happy. The burger itself was actually amazing, and even the chips were so nice I could have kept eating them all night. Service was great. Prices very reasonable for the location. Would definitely eat/drink here again!

I have worked here for 8 months now and honestly it has been the best. I have grown in my career, been given some amazing opportunities, met some one of a kind people, and made irreplaceable friends. The owners do everything possible to make Soho a welcoming place for everyone despite the reputation from previous years. I love it here, and cannot wait to see the place grow. Management, staff, chefs, and customers are all what I would call extended family now, they have all looked after me so well, and I can’t fault them xox

Good atmosphere in the area and very handy for the front and Brownsea island ferry.

Stopped in here on a whim for breakfast while visiting Poole Quay and had to write a review. What a great place! Relaxed atmosphere, very Shoreditch style, great music playing, but the best bit was the awesome breakfasts themselves. Very high quality ingredients, the most perfectly prepared poached eggs I have ever seen, and reasonable prices. Will definitely come back here again!

Burger and chips were 10/10, didn't catch the guys name that served us but he had long hair, his service was 10/10 couldn't of asked for more, nice atmosphere and kid friendly, would definitely recommend 👍

Just had lunch here and had the 2 for 1 burgers and OMG what a find these burgers and even the chicken burger was really nice and the staff were also kind to my little one above and beyond service l, definitely recommend and will be back..Ps didn't get pictures ad couldn't wait to get stuck into the food

Pulled Pork loaded fries, chicken & bacon sandwich, buffalo chicken nachos and halloumi salad.... all very enjoyable and tasty. May have to come again 😁😁

The team needs to do much better with service. I waited 5 minutes to be served and the owner or manager (not sure which) asked if I was being served. Rather than serve me, he delegated to another bartender who was busy fixing cocktails for a hen party. Five minutes later I walked out. I may return and edit this review

Lovely newly refurbished restaurant. I had a great burger and sweet potato fries. Very clean restaurant, friendly owner and staff. In a nice positon just off the quay. A definite cut above the tourist type sea front restaurant. Check out the wallpaper - fabulous.

Friendly crowd and unusually I didn't see anyone kicking off which made a pleasant change.

Typical bar in Poole. Food ok but facilities not the best, toilets dedicatedly need a refurb!

Quick enough to take your money, £50 for a round of drinks then refused re-entry before being able to drink them, strange place

Went to soho booked a party service by Cody Marley and saf absolutely amazing definitely we’ll experienced and such bubbly lovely girls out of every where we’ve been on a night out in Poole this place with these girls are absolutely the best and outstanding can see them all going very far!! Also the dj chase I believe his name was really great and good at his job!!

Fantastic place to go for 2-4-1 burgers! Relaxing and clean restaurant :) Hot tasty burgers and the most amazing chips! Friendly cheery staff! We have left feeling very full and will be back :)

Found this pub by chance, had a couple of beers, friendly staff and nice environment.

Horrible decor, sticky tables, double rum and coke, gin and lemonade, total = £18.20. What a joke.

Only had a drink on our way back to hotel, barman went above and beyond, crushed ice for us even tho his machine wasn’t working, then called us a taxi back to hotel. He also called a taxi for some other people who were waiting outside. A totally decent human being 🌟

Icky sticky tables. Grubby toilets. Drinks were a good price and friendly staff, maybe more needed!

The wings are by far the best in the area. The food in general is very good and made in house. One of the few placed in Poole I keep returning to. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Would recommend, also kid and dog friendly during the day.

Only vegan options are burgers. Had no drinks on tap or in the fridges, staff seemed confused on what they were doing

Really nice food, very pleasant staff.

Went for drinks around 11PM/12 on Saturday 06.08.22 and had a horrendous time. The girl behind the bar asked what we wanted, my friend turned to ask us what we're drinking and after less than 20 seconds had passed, the bar lady told her to hurry the f up (dark straight hair and glasses on). Left immediately and asked door staff for entry fee back, she handed the money over and even knew without us saying who the culprit was and what had happened. Cody (the lovely lady on the door), fair play to you for your great customer service.

Advertised as doing Sunday Roast in and out of the place,but doesn't do what advertising so why advertise ?

Cheap eats, staff helpful but only serves ciders & lagers, no real ale.

Amazing food, great portions. Lovely atmosphere with great music. Prices are pretty cheap as well especially as it is very close to the quay.

Lovely dog friendly pub. Nice decor with good music and good value for money. The menu was pretty limited but the food quality was really good. Highly recommend the chicken wrap!

Really poor. Horrible decor, incompetent staff and overcharging for drinks. Got home and the receipt showed we had been overcharged.

Overall it was alright… seems like a nice place for a few pints and to chill. But if you want food then fax your order across before your arrive because the moody girl who served us didn’t seem to have a clue about the menu (no prices matched the menu so guesswork if we got under or overcharged) She spoke to the table next to us and rudely said “well what did you order then” when they messed up their order. 45mins later when the place was dead for some food that should take 10-15mins to make and little miss happy finally came with our food. Only thing SOHO about this place was the toilets were rotten and the owner drinking on the job.

Food was nice, visited last week but was told you didn't do puddings at all only on a Sunday, so we tried the packaged cakes which were dry and horrible, I have since seen you do have puddings during the week so curious as to why we were told no.

Owner kicked us out after 2 drinks saying we were to drunk and my friend was one drink behind!!!! We have had a lovely evening out for a meal with friends and decided to have a few drinks here to end the night then got kicked out buy the drunken owner saying were were too drunk! We were Discussed by this and would never spend a penny here or recommend this place at all! I would rather spend my money else where and its no wounder why they are quiet and have bad reviews. We were Discussed by this!! Never go here guys as im a goole reviewer and this was shocking!!!!!

Great place to go whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner or for a fun night out at the weekend.

Great place and location Lovely staff But I do have a problem when the kitchen sends out a left over sausage from breakfast at lunchtime instead of cooking fresh and keeping up the standards high rather than thinking its just a tourist and another will be along in a minute. We received a sausage and onion sandwich and was told it was the last sausage....as I walked into pay two late breakfasts appeared on the table next to me with fresh cooked sausages. I rarely give poor reviews and hope the owners address this issue.

Popped in here for breakfast on the last day of our holiday. Beautiful looking place, food was lovely and great prices. Made even better because we were able to take our little dog in too. The person who served us, Adam, was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely return. Thank you!

Beautifully cooked fish and chips. The batter was so light and crispy, and the haddock was cooked just right. The chunky chips were lovely. Good pub grub.

Staff seemed too busy and distracted. Ordered 2 meals but got one, despite repeating myself AND it wasn't the meal we ordered. ( wondered why it was cheap!) The Coke glass was filthy, had to scrape the smeary coating off the inside hence didn't drink most of it. First and LAST visit ☹️

Awful. Went in for a few drinks with my partner, place was empty and they sat us right next to the toilets on the edge of the DJ booth? Had one drink and left. Staff wearing mini skirts and could basically see what they had for breakfast, not very appropriate. Got my hopes up after a good breakfast service but I definitely won’t be returning

Visited here for the final. Hard to gauge what Soho would be like normally so went with a 4 as a middle ground. The venue was very clean, any patrons who were getting OTT were dealt with swiftly and the staff were very attentive.

Fantastic place. Great atmosphere, music is incredible and the staff are sound. They have an amazing selection of drinks. The only place to party late on Poole Quay!!! Book early to avoid disappointment.

I wasn't impressed. Definitely menu aimed at visiting family groups, chips, sausage, bacon etc. That's gr8 obviously if that's what you want

Total lack of hygiene. Dirty glasses and PPE not worn or worn incorrectly.

My first coffee was £2 but second £2.70 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ i was asked to wear my cap backwards because their cctv couldn’t see my face 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ how about your face masks that cover 2/3 of your face?? Better enjoy any of the other places around the corner

The young lady serving was very polite lovely manners. Food was okay. The food could have been better. But on the whole not too bad.

AVOID THIS PLACE DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC! Absolutely awful and rude staff. No visible NHS track and trace barcode. Actually no track and trace at all. 2 out of our three glasses were dirty (staff blamed the dish washing machine). Tables cleared between diners but no sanitiser used anywhere. 1 staff member had no mask. 1 had it below the nose or on her chin. Signature burger missing 2 ingredients, salad had no dressing. Ham egg and chips OK but peas were cold and hard. Doesn’t deserve 1 star.

Absolutely shocking experience. Rude staff telling me she would not let me in normally because I was wearing 3/4 length shorts, even though half the tramps in here are dressed like tarts. Very rude and dismissive staff. Staff also hugging and kissing other customers whilst telling us to sit down in the corner. 9/10 would never come again. I'd say just head to a Brighton pub if you're looking for a night out where you're not ridiculed and belittled. I would like to give 1/2 a star out of 5 but Google will not permit me.

I don’t mind the lack of atmosphere or the god awful food I’m more upset about the staff. Never in my life I have felt more un appreciate to spend my money in this bar “restaurant”. I very rarely complain but my god there are so many better bars down Poole quay I’d recommend Jolly sailor at least the staff are half decent.

4 us us went for lunch, food was very unapealing when it arrived but when i found a fried ginger beard hair on my egg that was it. The glasses look filthy too, maybe they are old and tarnished, if so they need renewing. I saw another table cleaning their glass before they poured their beer in. Ok for cheap nasty oil fried food
