Recommended by the Bedford Hotel where we always stay when visiting Regency Sidmouth for "the best Devonshire cream tea." Quality jam and cream is presented in proper dishes, not prepacked in hideous plastic containers. A generous supply although we have had better scones but still worth a visit. "A destination in itself."🇬🇧🇳🇿

Great ice cream parlour come cafe. A wide selection of ice cream flavours available . Fantastic variety of sundea styles. Hot and cold foods . Eat in or takeaway. It does get extremely busy and is very popular with both locals and tourists alike.

During our stay in Sidmouth, this was our stop of choice for an afternoon coffee and cake. Suffice to say that the locally roasted coffee was really good. They have a great choice of loose leaf tea options as well as really good cake. Scones looked scrumptious. Service was friendly and helpful. They make their own Gins and Rums and also sell some lovely biscuits chutneys cider etc etc. Yes, we do recommend.

Called in because our intended café was closed. We were the only ones in and promptly shown to our table. Our order was taken and my wife had avocado and eggs and i had the full English with coffees. The coffees were excellent and we both enjoyed our breakfast, much better then the hotel. By the time we left the place was extremely busy so don't be put off if is quite.

Absolutely beautiful warm and welcoming cafe..very reasonable prices and really enjoyed browsing the Christian books. The volunteers were very lovely and chatting to my toddler I Nanny. I really enjoyed the light environment and didn't want to leave! Very very sad to hear it will close fully by March 2025. I wanted to start returning regularly..also a brilliant outreach tool to share Jesus! Thankyou so much Emma and Florence

3 of us popped in on our way home to West Sussex. Oh my goodness......all three of us wholeheartedly agreed that it was the best cream tea we have ever tasted. Thank you so much for accommodating us, not long before closing. Garden is beautiful, sat in the sunshine to enjoy our warm scones with jam & cream. Tea was plentiful, service fabulous. If we could give 10 stars ...we would. thank you so much

Popped in for a coffee and a bite to eat on Monday.Had a very nice coffee and a fabulous cake, but was utterly shocked at their dog policy in the cafe.On the very next table to us was a couple who put their dog on their lap while there was food on the table, and twice the dog tried to go for it,eventually giving up and resting his head and paws on the table. Not one of the FOUR members of staff in the canteen area said a thing.Awful dribbling on a lunch table

Pub well worth visiting for a meal when in Sidmouth. Is much larger inside than it looks from outside with plenty of seating in several different areas. Very good menu with plenty of choice and also a good range of daily specials. Service is quite fast, staff very attentive. The quality of the food is excellent and the amounts just right. Have now visited several times for lunches now and have never been disappointed.
