We stumbled upon this cozy cafe while exploring a quieter part of town, and we’re so glad we did! It’s just a short walk from the sea, making it the perfect spot to relax after a coastal stroll. The toasted sandwiches were fantastic—fresh and crispy—and the smoothies and coffee were top-notch. The staff were amazing, especially with our kids, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was our sons 5th Birthday and he loved going out for a breakfast adventure. A true hidden gem, and we’ll definitely be back next time we visit!

Apologies for the delay in reviewing! Absolutely brilliant breakfast; delicious, fresh, served hot, fantastic staff and very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back next time we are in St. Ives

So glad we found this restaurant for lunch today. We had mussels and the Cornish scallops to start followed by sea bream and the red gurnard, all were fantastic as was the wine. It is very easy to miss the entrance, but really glad we found it. Highly recommend and will definitely be back if we return to St Ives in the future.

We had a lovely experience at St Eia on a busy Sunday afternoon. St Eia was tucked away enough to escape the busy St Ives streets but close enough to watch the world go by. We enjoyed an excellent selection of wine and good food to accompany. Kitty helped us out with suggestions of what to try. She was attentive and knowledgeable about what was served and also gave recommendations for further on in our trip. An excellent place that I would recommend and head back too.

Myself & my partner stopped in here for a coffee and a toastie. The service was quite slow but the staff were very friendly and apologetic about this, taking the time to come to our table and explain the reasons for the slow service. As an apology, we were given two free coffees on the house. This wasn’t a necessary thing to do but it really showed how much the staff cared about their customers. The food was nice and coffee was delicious!

Lovely friendly cafe. Dog friendly too. Enjoyed a pot of tea, perfect for two and lunched on jacket potato with beef brisket topped with smoked cheddar and hubby had haddock pot which was tasty. Brilliant find.

We stumbled on this quaint cafe and decided to pop in for some scones. Scones were average. Good place to take a break from walking.

Food and coffee really beautiful - the staff were over-precious. I wanted the middle cinnamon bun and was told I had to have one from the edge - I was paying, and ‘someone’would have got the middle one - why not me? I had to pay an extra quid each for take-away containers because I was travelling and couldn’t come back to ‘recycle’ them - leaving St Ives in the car at that moment. But that’s not all - bc I get two coffees for them to last longer in the car - I asked for a take away container to sit them in - no sorry no take-away containers. I had to walk down steep stairs, and what if I had wanted take away coffees for four people? Would they have helped carry them down stairs - I doubt it! Plus, they went on about the environment which I get - but what about the urethane painted on the pine cabinetry was that ‘emission free’?

We were looking for a proper coffee shop in St ives and we found this one. The coffee was superb and the service was just right. The atmosphere in the back of the coffee was just what we needed.

Excellent for coeliacs or those on gluten free diets. Large number of gf options and separate frier used for gf food. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful on allergies. Food was great with good portions sizes.

I remembered reading great reviews on this place, so after a hard day at work, walking past the shop I decided to try it as a take away. I was so disappointed with the Katsu Veg curry. The taste was quite nice but the consistency was mush and most of it was made up of peas! Half of it in fact was peas and had the distinct reminder of school dinners.
