Lovely friendly cafe. Dog friendly too. Enjoyed a pot of tea, perfect for two and lunched on jacket potato with beef brisket topped with smoked cheddar and hubby had haddock pot which was tasty. Brilliant find.

Terrible food. Cheep store bought. Egg was swimming in oil. Turmeric latte artificial tasting. Charged extra for coconut milk - yet didn’t remove the cost of the standard milk… Loud table next to us with horrible dogs. Sat us next to the toilets. Couldn’t even find the place on Apple Maps - was showing it was at the other end of the road. Waiter was friendly. Won’t be going back.

Great food and atmosphere but no scrabbled egg for our table despite both tables either side of us having it and rudely refused marshmallows for children’s babychino when my eldest politely asked despite there being a big jar in the bar. 🤷🏽♂️ rude server letting the team down.

Our ‘go to’ place when we have a wander around St Ives, any time of year. Dog friendly, very friendly staff, a menu just for dogs (ours had a Dog Ice Treat, but there are hot food options available) Their Chai Latte is one of the best you’ll find; not sickly sweet and not too spicy. No food for us today, but still lovely service.

Our poached egg came with one slice of toast, so we asked for another slice. That was charged at a further £1.75. Who serves poached egg on toast with one slice of toast? Also be aware that they also add, in line with a lot of cafes/restaurants now, a tip on the total bill.

Bordering the market square, this unassuming cafe/restaurant deserves all the accolades it receives. Yes, it’s busy but the turnover is quick as is the service. Despite the ‘no substitutions or alterations’ claim at the top of the menu they managed to russle up sausage and chips ( not listed) for my granddaughter without batting an eyelid. We had smoked haddock on creamy spinach with poached egg and some sort of luxury & glorious smashed avocado and chickpea posh sandwich with dukkah. Apple juices and hot chocolate all round. All generous helpings served by charming helpful staff. £48 well spent and seriously enjoyed. Well done.

What a fabulous little find. We enjoyed the most delicious late lunch on Boxing Day. How lucky we were that everywhere else had stopped serving food or we may never have found this lovely little cafe. The menu had something for everyone, including the dog who wolfed down her meal. Lovely food, good service but very put off by latte’s served in glasses (as in for soft drinks rather than a latte glass/cup). It wasn’t until I checked the receipt later in the day that I saw a 10% service charge had been added. No mention of this on ordering or paying at the till but then why would they as it gives people a chance to decline. It won’t stop me retuning but I will be asking for the charge to be removed - service was standard!

What a disappointment. It only takes one rude member of staff to spoil things. Yesterday we went, 2pm ish and it was great. Today we thought we would go again. Only this time we were spoken to in a rude manner. There was a family of 6 waiting outside for a big enough table. We waited outside for five minutes or so and could see several smaller tables that were unoccupied. As it was just two of us I spoke to the family to explain what I was going to to ask for a table for two, and ventured inside. The lady on the coffee machine, a blond middle aged European lady, looked towards me so I asked if there was a table. She said there are other people waiting before me and that I needed to go back outside. I did as I was told and went to another, friendly venue. So, it would be a score of 5 yesterday but a 1 for today….. Friendly , caring and thoughtful staff are worth their weight in gold. One bad apple can kill a business .

St. Ives in summer season is a VERY busy place, so it was lovely to find such a nice café that also had space for us. The staff were very friendly and efficient in their queue management, looking down the line and spotting that we were a couple and so seating us ahead of a much larger group who were waiting for a bigger table to clear, saving us from having to stand and wait unnecessarily. There were gluten free options available for my wife, which she enjoyed, and a very hearty breakfast option for me, which I very much enjoyed. Everything was well laid out and nicely, yet subtly branded (such as embossed wooden clipboards for the menu with the café name/logo on them.) Free wifi for those who needed it too. We ended up visiting four times over the course of our holiday and were equally impressed each time.

Poor service & very average food. I didn't feel welcome here as the waitresses look quite grumpy and one of them brought the drink to our table without saying anything and just walked away. But when we received the bill we saw that a 10% service charge was added, but with the service I don’t think I would have added 10% I’m sad to say, a tip should be the customers choice to add don’t you think? 🤷♀️ One of the staff members was very miserable and kept pulling faces which I thought was very unprofessional and didn’t make a good atmosphere. The eggs were perfectly cooked, however, the bacon was a little overcooked and tough for our liking. Great little cafe (presumably a Longstore offshoot, as it’s attached). A small number of tables inside and more outside. Nice seaside blue and white vibe. We had tea, cappuccino and two sourdough toasties with roasted mushrooms, tomatoes, Emmental cheese and truffle mayo - with a refreshing but hot chilli and carrot salad in the side. £13 per head paid for very good quality. Food and drink was great and service fast and friendly. Other customers had young children and dog with them. Would recommend for sure.

Great views , great vibe , great food - what a Sunday feast after a trip along the river to st Mawrs. We was recommended this place by the local ferry workers and wasn’t disappointed. Whilst the pub was busy due to the rugby being on we was well looked after and found a lovely table with views of both the river and the 6N. Probably one of the best Sunday roast I have in Cornwall.
