Overrated doughy pasties… filling is mostly onions and potatoes and we had a few sortiments. Chicken and bacon pasty: two small pieces of chicken zero bacon, same with beef, barely any meat in there. Service was good and quick, coffee quite nice. Wouldn’t return though, maybe for the coffee. Don’t know why all the hype for pasties

We love you Yellow Canary!!!! We come here every time we visit Cornwall and have been coming for years, we love it. I’m coeliac and we love the gluten free pasties and cream teas! The coffee is amazing (probably my favourite ever) super smooth, well made, delicious and high quality. The person serving us even offered to make me a drink I asked for that wasn’t on the menu! Super accommodating which is really nice :) Very clean and aesthetically pleasing as well

Beware of the hidden prices! I had a couple of take-out sandwiches & was shocked by them at the checkout. Extortionate is an under statement! Coffee was very small but cost nearly five pounds, we had to put our coats on because it was so cold, and then the woman setting up the following morning blasts Johnny Cash at 06:50 waking all of the neighbours. What an awful place.

We bought a Chicken, Bacon and Cheese Pasty. It was unreal. We bought a Cinnamon Bun too which was fantastic, really tasty and crispy on the outside. The guy who served us was really friendly, and only took a few minutes to heat the pasty up. Cost us £9, which I guess isn’t cheap, but for the quality of the food it’s definitely worth it. We visited for a crab sandwich and cup of tea each which cost us £38 in total. My crab sandwich had shell in almost every mouthful! When my husband raised my complaint the lady who prepared the sandwich apologised and said the crab was bought in pre- picked. Before leaving I again commented to another staff member that the amount of shell was unacceptable. His reply was that they usually take out the obvious shell but not during busy times and that it was a natural product. Presumably implying that this nothing to complain about. For the price involved I wouldn’t recommend anyone choosing a crab sandwich from this establishment.

Picked up a crab sandwich and scotch egg to takeaway, at just shy of £20 I was expecting much more than the tiny amount of crab I got. In fact, I would have said it was more like a salad sandwich. Scotch egg was not to my personal liking, so that was thrown away. The egg in the centre was no larger than a quails egg. I hastened to add, sorry guys, I won’t be patronising this cafe again.

I was really looking forward to my custard tart, but unfortunately I was just as disappointed. The “base” was bland and crumbly and looked like it hadn’t been baked enough, and the custard filling was far too sweet. I find it almost a bit outrageous to charge £4.50 for this. Despite their "Winter Hours", it's closed without any further notice. So we couldn't get a coffee.

Working in the area and I was staying in Camelford . If you want to experience what a local Cornish pub is about then look no further, there’s some characters in there trust me 😉 within an hour id been made welcome by everyone . Genuinely the nicest crowd of people you could ever wish to meet

Sunday lunch had a lovely menu. Carrots & parsnips described as roasted & these were both definitely boiled. Veg was nice however cauliflower cheese was more a cauliflower in white sauce. We didn’t feel at all rushed however service was slow & no salt & pepper on table or condiments offered as our lunch was delivered. We had to ask. Meat was lovely but don’t feel this was great value for money

I don’t like to write a negative review, but this is needed - if only to stop anyone else making a mistake and purchasing one of these overpriced awful creations; with expectations based on the ‘Made with care’ claims made on these products. We had one of Fee’s ready meals last night: the chicken leek and tarragon pie. Supposed to be a treat but was anything but. Had it not been too late to prepare an alternative I would have just put it in the bin. £13+ for a grey, gelatinous, unpleasant over-seasoned mush under an ill-fitting top of what cannot ever be described as pastry. Overpriced and dreadful. The cooking time was completely wrong - 45 minutes and the inside was still semi-frozen. Even allowing for appliance variations this was out by around 15 minutes. Whilst one expects some compromise with pre-prepared meals, they can be, and are, far better than this. I’d say Fee’s is trading on some clever marketing and a reputation built on this but the products themselves are sub- standard and not even on a par with the much cheaper, mass-produced supermarket ready meals. Not an experience I’d recommend.
