We had a lovely experience at St Eia on a busy Sunday afternoon. St Eia was tucked away enough to escape the busy St Ives streets but close enough to watch the world go by. We enjoyed an excellent selection of wine and good food to accompany. Kitty helped us out with suggestions of what to try. She was attentive and knowledgeable about what was served and also gave recommendations for further on in our trip. An excellent place that I would recommend and head back too.

Handy location for Porthmeor nearby, and nice to sit outside in the sun when you have it. I had the crab main on bruschetta. It was £17, and all you got was one piece of bruschetta with a smallish portion of crab on top and seafood sauce on top.. very disappointing. It was more like a starter and should have been about £12-13 max so way overpriced or double the portion size. Kids salad was just some chopped cherry tomatoes and cucumber £8 in a small plate. Way overpriced again. Quality of food was good though. Service was okay.

Lovely little wine bar. The food was really tasty and fresh. The crab on toast was delicious and the smoked mackerel pate was very good too. Service was also good so overall a really nice lunch experience.

What a delightful little wine bar slightly off the beaten track. Well worth a visit for a lovely light lunch and a glass of delicious wine. The Niçoise salad was absolutely superb; so good in fact that we went back twice, and the Lemon Posset was to die for. Very well worth a visit!

A great little cafe just around the corner from Porthmeor Beach, the owner was lovely and the cafe is dog friendly. We just stopped for coffee mid morning, but they also have a great selection of quality wines.

Lovely sunny spot with good service, great food and wine. Best olives ever tasted. Marginally spoiled by friends of staff on next table with their juvenile obscenities.

Very nice food, but they don't know much about wine, sorry! The prices are ridiculously high.....a bit strange for a wine shop!

We only had cups of tea but the surroundings were very pleasant. The staff friendly and its dog friendly. The toilet a little odd as you could see into the kitchen but pleasabt enough.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Stayed in one of the adjacent Quarryman's Cottages over Christmas and the New Year and had quite a few meals in the pub. Always got a friendly welcome. Not a bad choice on the menu and sampled quite a few dishes during our visits, all of them well cooked and presented and very tasty. Guest cask ales were also very nice. Couldn't fault the service. Traditional Sunday lunch was also very good, with lots of veg and a choice of roast beef or pork.
