Cracking coffee at a more than reasonable price. Friendly staff and an ideal location at the top of the path to the beach. Indoor or outdoor seating with the later under a good sized canopy. National Trust car park on the other side of the road P.S. Note for dog owners...take your dog waste with you! The café bins are clearly marked as not for dog poop, nor is the floor by the outdoor tables the place to leave your bags of dog poop!! Take it with you and find a proper waste bin.

A group of 10 of us arrived here after a 7 mile walk at 4.50 on Sunday, expecting we were too late.We were told we were welcome, and enjoyed their courtesy, consideration and good service. Can vouch for good coffee, tea, cake and ice cream. Thank you, we'll be back, not just before you close though!

Brilliant little café with fantastic cream teas, sausage rolls and pasties. Fabulous Smuggler's Brew tea and wonderful coffee with proper full fat milk! Great selection of soft drinks and other pastry. We went there 5 times out of our six days down in Trewince Manor.

Nice little cafe just off Towan beach. Good coffee and a tasty chocolate and banana loaf cake. Road access to the cafe is by quite a narrow twisty road with passing places. Parking opposite in the National Trust car park.

Dog friendly. They serve amazing toasted sandwiches and cakes. Plus more. Eat in or take away.

Popped down for breakfast with my family yesterday and what a beautiful little cafe with friendly welcoming staff. Great coffee, delicious breakfast and sweet treats to die for! Will definitely be returning! Thanks Thirstea Co.

Ok as a pit stop. Nice location and done out nicely inside. Expensive though. £9 for a bacon and brie sandwich.

Quick pit-stop after walking on the South West Coast Path. Only purchased soft drinks but looking forward to visit again to try other products.

Lovely little cafe. We popped in here during our walk around St Anthony’s Head. Service was good, prices were reasonable and the cakes and ice cream tasted great.

Provide for gluten free. Ice creams are amazing. Polite, friendly, happy and helpful staff

A welcome surprise on a hot day's walking. Perfect for a light lunch break with a selection of cold and hot food. Locally sourced cold drinks and good coffee options. No alcohol. Helpful and friendly staff.

Great little cafe. A pleasant surprise. Had the hummus toastie with slaw and a treacle flapjack. Both tasty. Coffee was fine too. Bruce, the cafe dog, was lovely to watch. An enjoyable visit.

Well this is a lovely spot. Hard to find a fault really. The home made food was wonderful. In particular the porridge was one of the best we've ever had. The home made crumpet with egg and bacon also delicious! Same can be said of the pineapple smoothie and the coffee AND a true test, the cheese scone. The staff were really friendly. Keen to point out there's a free fresh water refill station here and water for dogs. Selection of indoor and outdoor seating too. Also good toilets. You guys keep doing you, we'll be back!

I'm not one to usually write a negative review and would rather this be used as feedback as opposed to slating what is, I'm sure, a lovely café with incredibly hardworking staff.. however, this is a snapshot of our experience yesterday and as I was prompted to leave a review by Google.. I thought I should. We arrived to a busy car park on a lovely sunny day and observed that the café was busy as we started our walk along the coast path towards St Anthony. We checked the opening times both online and on the boards outside both saying open until 5pm. Upon return we noticed in small print on the menu that food service stops at 3pm. We joined the queue at 2.55pm hopeful that would would still be able to order 2 beet sandwiches.. however, when we finally got to the server at the till the time was now 3.02pm. We asked if we could still order the the food to be told that food stops at 3 but she would go to check. She returned saying no. Telling us only pasties and cakes now. As we only eat plant based there wasn't anything left cake wise that we could eat and the vegan pasty option was a 40 minute wait. So we opted to just have coffee. There's an additional 30p extra for plant milk (working out at £30 a litre!) And we only have a splash of it in a cup of coffee?! I don't understand the necessity for establishments to charge this premium in this day and age where more people are choosing plant options over traditional diets? So in the end and nearly £8 lighter for 2 small coffees we then waited outside for them to arrive at the hatch. Some 10 minutes later our number was called. I appreciate that you may have been slightly busy, but 2 coffees don't really take very long to make. Overall our experience was quite disappointing. By me writing this again, my intention isn't to slate the business or its employees but perhaps provide them feedback to perhaps consider improvements for the future. As locals we often walk this part of the the stunning Roseland and shall perhaps try again in the hope that this was a one off..

Fantastic place. Very friendly staff, delicious cheese and chutney toasties and cute little dog called Bruce, keeping tabs on his clientele. Highly recommended. Especially on a cold, damp day which you can watch from inside. Dog friendly too with awning outside when it’s wet and dog bowls and water freely available.

We were looking for somewhere to eat after a lovely walk , that would take dogs and this came up on Google Maps and I was very taken for what was on offer. We made our way there and so glad we did. Lovely food. We were welcomed by resident dog called Bruce. I had bacon , brie and chilli jam toasted sandwich that came with crisps and rocket salad. Very reasonably priced. Nice choice of cakes.

Cracking tea room with a good and varied menu

Food &service was lovely. Sadly giving it a two star rating because we ate in but were still given disposable cutlery, plates & ramekin. OK, plates, cups & cutlery were biodegradable, but we ate in (not takeaway) & disposable (biodegradable or not) is a very poor 2nd to rescuable. Also the ramekins were plastic. Come on NT; you're meant to be leading the way.

Always good food and drink. Great coffee and amazing carrot cake. Very friendly, helpful staff. We also like the van when it’s at Carne beach in the summer. Great to be able to get Callestick Farm ice cream as well as drinks and cake.

Great cafe! Had the most amazing hot chocolate. Cafe good for dog walkers, hikers, people out and about. There's a coat stand, places to sit inside, and sheltered seats outside. Liked it so much we stayed for cake which was great.

What a gem of a place! Both the decaf latte and the regular cappuccino we had were among the best we ever tasted. Plus delicious cakes, all served with a smile. We'll be back.

This is a lovely little spot only a short walk from the beach. I had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup which were delicious and a mug of tea. The only down side was the man serving the hot drinks who was constantly shouting the orders in the most booming of voices. But he wasn’t just saying “order number 8” for example, it was “ONE CHOCOLATE THAT IS HOT!!”. By the tenth time you’ve heard him shout whilst having a catch up with a friend it was a bit tedious and annoying.

I noticed that - and it’s now 23rd October (half term however, and was moderately busy), and I wouldn’t mind compostable plates - if there was somewhere to put them separate si they could be composted … The same goes for the plastic lids on the paper coffee cups. I couldn’t find any plastic recycling.

We’d walked around the headland and were starting to feel quite hungry and found this place. Such a nice find. Great food, great service and reasonably priced. Liked it so much went back twice

A treasure to be unexpectedly discovered on arrival. Good basic food for snacks but with vegan and veggie options. Good coffee. Buzzing with activity but efficient service from very friendly staff. Minutes walk from sandy, secluded beach.

They didn't any cappuccino so I had a cappuccino instead (thanks for the giggle) and the blueberry muffin was awesome. Thanks again for the wonderful service.

We love visiting but we were a little disappointed that our delicious hot drinks, cream tea and chocolate brownie were served on single use items. Fair enough some of it was compostible but it would have been a more enjoyable experience if it had been served on crockery.

We went for a quick swim on the nearby beach and unfortunately my daughter stood on a weaver fish, we popped back on out way to the car to see if we could get a cup of hot water for her, they had her sat down with her foot in a hot foot bath in seconds and a jug of boiling water too so that she could make it as hot as bearable.. so very helpful, really appreciated their coffee and kindness..

On a rainy day, I have hot chocolate with hundreds of marshmallows on and on hot days I have ice cream. We go to Carne beach every day in Cornwall and we love it all so much so that is why I recommend it to everyone out there.

Dog friendly cafe by the beach serving hot drinks, sandwiches, cakes & ice creams, (inc vegan & dog options) plus parking & free loos (inc a disabled loo). Had cappuccino & cream tea which was superb! Lovely staff. Sat inside with a sea view.

Nice cosy little cafe just off of the beach, which serves all of your traditional cafe wants and needs! They also are doing pizzas over the summer which are really good!

A nice cafe tastefully presented...bringi g jobs. But why is every tranquil spot in Roseland being spoilt with food outlets! It used to be a quiet set of buildings with a tap, waterbowl for a dog NT noticeboard and toilets ...also resident swifts and swallows in the rafters that would swoop into their nest as you passed by, I don't know if they are still seasonally there I hope so.

We called in for coffee but ended up staying for lunch as well whilst we waited for a recovery vehicle for my car. The coffee, cakes, sandwiches and ice cream were very nice and orders are dealt with very efficiently (not our experience at other cafes we have visited in Cornwall). Top marks must go to the very helpful and cheerful staff who went out of their way to help when I developed an issue with my car. This popular cafe is clean and comfortable with inside and outside seating and close to the beach. National Trust car parks are close by.

What a lovely surprise to find a quality cafe on quite a secluded beach. We went for a long walk along the the coastal path and the came back to the cafe. It’s a lovely looking cafe with both an inside and outside sitting area. We had coffee and cake and it was lovely. Make sure you call in if you are on a walk.

Great to be back home for a few days and still a hidden gem of a place, perfect. Cheers guys

Hi Visiting with family whilst Walking dogs. We have been before on a few occasions but this latest visit will be our last. WHY YOU ASK. Well as you all should know the country is in a cost of living crisis and this Cafe is in my opinion profiteering. A can of pop that cost about 25 pence when bulk bought was being sold for £270 If you are stopping over with kids 3 kids and they want a can of pop and an ice cream and the parents want a coffee or Tea then get prepared to shell out £35 quid

Lovely surroundings; excellent Cornish Tea Co cuppa. My wife had a elderflower and mineral water canned drink which was outstanding.

Been meaning to visit for ages and glad to have finally been. The view alone is worth 5 stars but this really is a gem of a place. Just across the road from the NT Carpark, there are indoor and outdoor seating options, the staff are lovely and it’s dog friendly inside the cafe. Will be visiting again in the colder months to enjoy the cafe’s wood burner which looks really cosy!

Want some scrummy homemade cake to soak up your cuppa? This is a great place to visit for daytime refreshments. Pleasant efficient staff, what else could you ask for.

Simple food beautifully prepared. Cheerful and helpful staff. A great place to rest and refresh when walking. Brie and bacon toasties are our new favourite.

Popped in to Thirstea Co for Sunday breakfast. We had a couple of flat whites and a stack of pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Just what the doctor ordered! The log burner was roaring away as well which made for a warming experience as well. All the staff are lovely.

Very good place to visit.. staff very professional..cream teas excellent..watch out for some very funny one liners from a male member of staff who shouts out your order number aligned with what you ordered.. brilliant!

After a very hot walk I was able to purchase a very refreshing strawberry milkshake. Which when all other food and drink tastes horrid due to chemo milkshake is my life saver. The staff were wonderful and Lou thank you for your shoulder to cry on. It had Bern a hard week and you were so supportive. Thank you.

Incredible ice cream on the edge of a great swimming beach. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Baby swallows nesting in the bathroom and free drinking water fill ups #plasticfree. Would recommend!

Nice selection of sandwiches, and drinks, perfect café for by the beach or if your enjoying the long coastal walk. The portions were small though for the price you pay and I did leave feeling a little hungry! But it was delicious nevertheless.
