The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South West

4x 1/2kilo Chicken wings £56 1x Dirty fries £10 4x Sour Dip £8 Sounds expensive, however when we ordered we were expecting some big chicken wings as we had previously had when coming here. The wings came, they were delicious, but genuinely half a bites worth of chicken on the bone, and roughly 14 wings per "Half Kilo". Each plate of wings must've had about 150g-250g of actual chicken meat on. The dirty fries were great. The dips were overpriced at £2 for a couple tablespoons worth (we assumed they'd be free or a £ at the most). In summary, 3/5 service, 4/5 taste, 1/5 value for money; £14 is simply too much for what you get. We were just very disappointed, left feeling extorted.

What an absolute disgrace of a place. Turned up to watch the football. Was rude to by the first person who served me. Then when I went to bar for second drink was charged £15.20 for one pint. When I complained I was told I was rude. I was then waiting at the bar to be served for about 10 mins whilst the staff were stood talking. Complained then was told I had to leave. I was polite at all times. I was then threatened with bullying tactics. Awful place. Do not go.

Really clean Costa. Looks like it's recently been refurbished. Immaculate, comfy seats. Great service.

We came for drinks as we are locals to the area - we were not attempting to do the 10 before 10 challenge at all. After 3/4 half pints my partner and I went outside for a cigarette and were accosted by an elderly lady who told us she was the owner. Despite telling us we were okay to go inside and finish our drinks she followed us inside and harassed our table, attempting to force us to leave. The friends that I was with had gotten another round while we were having a cigarette and one of the young male bartenders accused us of lying and being drunk unruly guests after only 3/4 drinks and despite the venue being packed with university students. Overall a very negative experience and I felt me and my partner were stereotyped for being effeminate while having a cigarette because the manager was quite pleasant until that point. Would not recommend when there are many more accepting pubs that offer the same special cider.

The lady in glasses was on her own was really friendly and lovely. She works really hard here. I had a tasty coffee.

Came to The Thatch for a return visit after first visiting 8 yrs ago. Booked a table & received a warm friendly welcome & were sat at our table, with drinks, in less than 5 minutes. Our nacho sharing plate was hot, tasty, & very filling… leaving us just enough room to share a pudding between us, which was delicious. Good atmosphere & great service from the whole team, & can’t wait to visit again!

Always busy but better prices than the other supermarkets. The cafe is definitely worth checking out too. Good value meals, service is great.

Ordering a takeaway with my kids, you have nowhere to wait, then you get pushed out of the way by other customers, then when your order is ready, you can't get it. Because of the customers. And students 🤦🏻‍♂️ staff are awesome, super friendly.

Cheap & cheerful ! Had the bbq burger it came with fries & onion rings . Also included a drink in the price. Just under £10 amazing value. Clean toilets. Maybe a bit of a refresh inside & a bit brighter as seemed dark in some areas would make a huge difference to the feel of the place, but top marks for a decent meal at a great price. Would definitely come again! Also like that you can order from the table with your phone

Just what a coffee shop should be, plus very pleasant staff.

Came in for coffee for two, quite expensive for my tastes and I live in London, cappuccino is £3.75, nonetheless still bought it. Felt slow service, took about 15 mins, would've been okay if the coffee has been somewhat strong or hot. Very milky and weak, felt ripped off...not for me. Next time I'll get a pint!

It was delicious, but I don't like plastic cups. I love
