While having drinks we suddenly appear in dark room They dimmed the lights where we altered sitting It was the most strange thing that ever happened to me in any pubs I've been to And no food serve here ??? So we left Unfortunately we won't be returning to this pub again

Very large pub, great drink options went in during the day so quiet. However the smell from the gents loos is horrendous and can be smelt around bar area, as so strong.

Sat by the upper floor window, Window needs cleaning full of cobwebs . Would want to eat food by this window.

A brilliant bunch of people running the place! It's a lively atmosphere and a good place to start your night out! Will return when I come back to Newquay!

I really enjoyed this pub with the 2 cocktails for £12! Played pool and has a nice big outdoor seating area. Perfect to pop off for a cheeky pint.

As someone from Dublin, this felt like a northern English pub, nothing Irish about it. Showed the cricket over the Leinster hurling final. Very nice staff. If you want a few pints with the lads, good spot, don’t bring a family

Myself and my partner absolutely loved this place when we had our couple night away! Staff and locals made us feel welcome, drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was fantastic for a Sunday evening! Will definitely be back!

Classic pub, full of drunks and alcoholics, but enough about my friends! Pop in and cheer yourself up looking at us locals being idiots thinking, well, I'm not as bad as them!

Dog friendly, music, and a good atmosphere. Lots of TVs for sports, pool table.

Pool and punching machine. Loud music on the the Jukebox. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff.

Wow if I could give a zero I would. My visit here yesterday was disgusting and it was that bad that I can't even put on here what actually happened. But they need staff that can handle the clientelle not to mention the behaviour of the off duty member of staff. Easy to see why this place is always so quiet please I'd in newquay avoid for your own safety

Went to have a drink before going for our meal in the Indian restaurant wait to get served was totally ignored still to serve people just walked in, said to the bar man we have been waiting and he was rude to me. Are you racist? As in Indian

It is definitely not an Irish bar! It's really good for football coverage but this is spoilt by having the jukebox playing at the same time.

Best bar for a pint of Guinness with a lovely traditional rounded bar and a massive amount of seating for customers. Would highly recommend to start off your night out in Newquay. Really friendly staff who will advise on wheres good to go in town..

It's OK but when I visited it had heavy metal music playing and very little or no Irish feel to the place showing golf on all TV channels a bit disappointed.

Was charged £10.80 for 2 lagers absolutely Extortionate!! With Wetherspoon's over the road could have had the same for half the price. Being a local cannot afford these prices and will not be going again

We came to your bar and had a nice evening here. Only slightly disappointed that there was not enough Irish feel to the bar. I would have liked some Irish foods on the menu Also some Irish music, instead of football screens.

A proper man's pub I usually like the Irish bars but I felt uncomfortable here on my own. Slow bar service no queue system friends first visitors last.

Twice I visited this place and twice I left having ate nothing. The first time I was told that they didn’t serve food till after 5 o’clock. The second time I was completely ignored by the staff at the bar despite being told to queue a certain way. When I reached the bar I was completely ignored. I just left. Sometimes you have enough

Rhode down from exeter for the day with a couple other riders. Thought we would stop off here for some food. Staff was very welcoming and polite. Loved the burger. Burger wasnt proccessed meat. It was the real deal was a great day out and great atmospher at this bar👍

Best Guinness I've ever tasted with the friendliest staff!

Asked if they served food told we have a nice menu … very basic but never mind . Out came our food in 3 cardboard boxes - no cutlery and not even a serviette !! Had to ask for some . For feedback only informed staff of our dissapointmentb and advised it’s for COVID !!! Come on stop making it an excuse - you serve beer in glasses and not one member of staff wearing a mask . Tell people you sell take away food at pub eat in prices

Berries has a very large beer garden and the front and has a other beer garden at the back with sea views.

You could order your drink on there app or on there facebook page we was staying in hotel next door my friend phone went down so didn't have app or facebook page so on Saturday evening the person at reception ordered our dinks from our room number went to do the same Sunday evening and they said we couldn't do it that way they basically refused manage to get my phone to order drinks after30min the lad brought the drinks no apology or anything

Extremely rude staff, poor customer service, staff are not accommodating. Massive disappointment. Over priced food for what is served in takeaway boxes when we were eating in. Do not go to this pub

Firstly the security staff were great nice guys. But the service is awful, 1 hour we had to wait for drinks that's if the app is not suspended. I did not understand, saying they were understaffed because of the Covid issues down here, but still letting people in!! If you can't cope it's ok to turn people away! Honestly avoid this place till all is back to normal. Never has service been quite this poor. The management have a lot to answer for! Very very poorly run. I actually feel sorry for the staff being let down.

Covid-19 restrictions, friendly security explained the whole situation. Had a few drinks and a bit of food sat outside, decent quality and price 👌🏻

The pub is really strict with covid restriction, following the path to get to our table. The drink were serving really late, actually we need to ask for them after a while waiting. The food is normal pub food and the environment was warm and sociable. The waitress were really nice.
