The saying 'Don't judge a book by its cover' comes to mind. Beautiful pub, Food was fab and staff friendly.

Stopped here for drinks and a Sunday roast whilst holidaying in Perranporth. One of the best Sunday Roasts I’ve ever had!!!! The staff are so friendly and the place is dog friendly too. I’ll be dreaming about that roast for a long time!

Bei uns war am Samstagabend die Bedienung überlastet - zuerst nach 20 Min warten die Speisekarte am Tresen organisiert, Bedienung verwies zum Bestellung zum Tresen, am Tresen wurden wir an die Bedienung verwiesen. Ein Servicekonzept scheint hier zu fehlen. Wir haben nach 45 Min warten und 2 Bier aufgegeben. Eine andere Familie am Nebentisch hatte auch gewartet und gab ebenso auf.

Visited one day for drinks and service wasn’t great tbh. Hard to get a smile. Popped in for food before left and lovely lady behind the bar. Had 2 lovely meals, including the best fish I’ve tasted in a while and plenty of seafood in that meal Would visit again. Nice and clean.

Only sat outside having a lovely lunch and a beer with wife and gsd bear .food and service was great would definitely return .unfortunately it will be next year on holiday

Wow what a find. Right on The beautiful beach, has free parking but very limited. But the main carpark only a couple of min walk away. Beautiful old pub, very dog friendly- even has there own menu xx Menu offered a good choice of Food which was served hot and freshly cooked. Not greasy it was Delicious and we received a great service. Certainly would go back.

Just had a Meal at the seiners have to say brilliant from start to finish, emailed to say have a reactive dog they put us in a quiet spot so attentive they were amazing. Service was great food came really quickly after ordering once here it was delicious well cooked and nicely presented. Would highly recommend eating hear. We come every year and have never had a bad meal yet.

Service is excellent and a nice but short menu. Good atmosphere in the pub and decent selection of beers. We went twice whilst staying in perranpoeth and would say this has the edge over over no 4 Bistro. The sea food pasta was very good with a decent size meal. I found d the fish and chips a little bland and not sure they are actually using cod as tasted a bit bland. Others had steak which was very nice too. Desserts were tasty.

Couldn’t do enough to seat us at a busy time. Despite this, we didn’t have to wait long for food and it was well worth the wait!! Huge portions and just what we wanted.

Amazing food and location. We had the Seafood spaghetti and Mushroom spaghetti. I've never had so much seafood on one plate, it was delicious. We will certainly return 👌

Whilst the Seiners is our ‘local’, it’s a while since we’ve eaten there. Well, today we had a Sunday roast and it was amazing! Quality food, good portion sizes and first class friendly service. The Seiners has always been a hidden gem of Perranporth, if you haven’t been before, give it a go, you won’t regret it. Thank you team Seiners 🥰

Excellent food. Excellent friendly staff. Visited randomly with my Mum and Aunt. From the moment we entered the staff could not be more welcoming and friendly. We did not have a reservation, but they were able to fit us in, particularly as the England vs Switzerland game was on and the they were busy. The food was excellent and piping hot. I had the Pil Pil Prawns and Mum and my Aunt shared the Camembert for starters, they both had the Wild Mushroom Spaghetti and I went for the Mussels, not complaints from any of us. We will definitely be returning, if not before we go home, then definitely when we are back next year. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We were in Perranporth and had lunch here. Cosy pub on the waterfront with great views. There is an outside eating area, we ate inside. The menu was one that you had to fight to choose something, by that I mean that I had LOTS of options and they have a specials board. My husband had mussels and I had prawns. Both meals were excellent. There were other people eating and I have to say that their food also looked excellent. Staff were friendly, inviting and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. I would strongly advise that you go!! Reasonably priced.

As a family of five, we eagerly anticipated a delightful roast dinner outing, only to be sorely disappointed by the experience. The vegetables served alongside the meal were lackluster, devoid of any flavor and care. Overcooked to the point of being mushy, the vegetables were unseasoned, and to our surprise, the carrots were presented with their ends intact, a sign of carelessness in the kitchen. The portion of parsnip provided was a mere fraction of what one would expect, hardly resembling a proper serving. It was 1/4 slice of a parsnip. The meat, unfortunately, was dry and lacked the succulence one hopes for in a roast. The potatoes were the true letdown of the meal, shockingly bad and practically inedible. It is truly perplexing how a chef could fail to execute such a fundamental dish as roast potatoes, a staple of any roast dinner. To compensate for the absence of stuffing, the staff offered us additional Yorkshire puddings and more of the disappointing potatoes as a goodwill gesture. However, the Yorkshire puddings were burnt to a crisp, appearing jet black and again, inedible. It was evident that they were beyond salvageable and should have never been served to guests. This gesture felt more like an insult than a genuine attempt at making amends for the missing stuffing. Overall, the experience was a significant disappointment, leaving us feeling as though our money had been wasted on a poorly executed meal.

Went for a meal Tues at 8pm given menu alot of food was sold out so the 4 of us was ok with what we could have after half hour a member of staff said chef had run out of food and was annoyed with himself so he decided to close the kitchen we was told the same menu was on the next day so we booked a table when we got there they had let other people sit at the table having told us they had booked 3 days ago the exact same table ?we did get another table then the menu came totally different from the previous day not alot of choice it was to late to go elsewhere we did eat there which I'm not gonna lie was ok 2 of us got burger one a pasta dish and my husband got pork belly which was actually a pork chop

I got two drinks for £11.00 that I got in Newquay Wetherspoons for about £6.00. The prices are ridiculous. The other pubs in Perranporth weren't much better. No wonder many people drink at home for a fraction of the price.

Stopped by for Sunday lunch, nice pub good service. My wife and sister in law had the Sunday roast, which was by all accounts nice. I opted for the fish and chips, big mistake, the chips were OK, the peas were dry and hard but the main issue was the fish. I received 2 battered pieces of what I know is a cheap & nasty imported Asian whitefish, not nice to eat and very unpleasant. My mistake really for not being on guard, when a menu says fish, and not Cod or Haddock or any fish you have heard of, always ask! So to sum up, nice pub, great location but if you fancy fish & chips, go to one of the chip shops.

Had my neices wedding here, absolutely superb....staff were amazing , food was awesome..... location was great and had an added bonus of a Movie star coming in and had photos with bride and groom

We had a great night at Seiners. The room was comfortable with a nice view of the beach. We let the staff know we had bicycles and they had a dry, secure storage for them. Breakfast was great with a variety of fruit, cereals, porridge and full English, if desired. Highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely fantastic pub. Great atmosphere, great food, and good local selection of ales. Service was prompt and friendly. Fantastic views of the beach from the outside seating. Will be returning.

Went to the restaurant and a beautiful meal, can't knock it, would highly recommend to anyone, going to Perranporth to stop, there have some food. Staff are lovley and friendly and food is brilliant.

Having decided that we’d like to have a wander on Perranporth beach, with our dog, we then needed to find a dog friendly restaurant on a Monday, in December to eat. Having stayed in Seiners a few years ago, we were reallbleaae to find it open. Clean, tidy and dog friendly, with a decent lunch time menu. We all chose to have their Burger meal, including my wife, who never eats a burger, 😱🤣. Hit, Freshly cooked, really good meaty burger, which tasted delicious, and very reasonably priced for the quality. And treats freely available for our always hungry woofer. Definitely recommended

A group of 8 of us arrived for Sunday lunch at 1 and didn’t leave until 7! The atmosphere and service was so good we didn’t want to leave. Got to be one of the best roasts I’ve ever eaten.. fresh veg top quality meat and nothing was too much trouble for the hard working friendly staff. I love perranporth and am now planning my return visit and I think it’ll be to seiners. Perfect location and now I know how good the food is there it’s a no brainer. Thank you all it was the perfect start to Christmas.

Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights this weekend. We had a fabulous sea view room and a delicious breakfast every morning. The location is just amazing with the beach on your door step and Perranporth is a great location to explore the neighbouring area.

I've been here many times over the past 10 years, and every visit has been a pleasant one. Dogs are very welcome. We called in for a few drinks but weren't planning on having food this time until the food came out for the table next to us. Wow, everything looked and smelt lovely, and their complements pushed us into ordering. We opted to just have starters. I had the leak and potato soup the better half had the camenbert. Wow, it was absolutely fantastic and so filling. Will be back again

We ate here on two consecutive nights - we came back because we liked it so much. I had the same main course on each night - Pan fried Pollack with a butterbean leek and chorizo cassoulet and crispy leeks - and the same dessert, sticky toffee pudding. I was fortunate enough to eat sticky toffee pudding in the 80’s at the Sharrow Bay Hotel in the Lake district where it was invented by Francis Coulson. This was the best I’ve had since and I’m sure Francis would have approved! My wife had the battered haddock and thoroughly enjoyed it. The second night I started with pan fried scallops with a cauliflower puree, pancetta and black pudding crumb. Michelin star restaurant standard. This was easily our best eating experience in 7 nights of eating out in Perranporth.

Called in midweek without booking. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming finding us a table with the minimum of fuss. The four starters were all excellent with the mussels being of particular note, great quality, size, and generous portions. We all opted for the 8oz fillet steaks 2 med rare and two rare, in a nutshell they were FANTASTIC !

Despite not being a a hotel guest and bar already being packed out with a wedding reception and it being Saturday night they managed to squeeze my gang of 3 in for a meal. So glad they did! We each had perfectly cooked steak and impeccable service. Will definitely be back when I return to Cornwall. 6 star service and location.

The only place in or around Perranporth that would accept a large (32 people) group so thanks for taking our booking. We said we were happy to pay deposits and pre-order. We were in the function room so had lovely views over the Perranporth beach. Given it was the August bank holiday weekend they were busy but we didn't feel rushed. Food was very good -mainly sunday roasts, but with a few kids' meals and a couple of changes made on the day. Freshly cooked, generous portions and extra veggies were provided. Good selection of local ales and international beers/lagers, cellar is obviously well kept and the bar staff know how to pull a pint. Have previously eaten in an evening and had a good meal then. Definitely worth a visit when in Perraporth and great location right on the beach.

When in Cornwall we always visit the Seiner’s Arms, this visit did not disappoint, the food and drinks were delicious and the setting is just wonderful, all topped off with lovely sunshine. We would strongly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely B&B, perfect for an overnight stay in Perranporth First floor rooms as better as lovely view. We moved from ground floor as a member of the public actually moved a curtain to look in our room !!!
