Great friendly staff and good food

Difficult (in the dark) to navigate your way around the roadway options to get there, and once you do, very clean but felt a bit soulless. On balance I think I prefer the slightly smaller options on the A30. But I will give it another try in the future.

Called in for a Costa. Great service stop.

Super services, designed with care. A shop for Rowes pasties and pastries, a Costa, clothing shops WHSmith and various other outlets make for a great stop on the journey to the south west.

Great place, however, coffee at Koala Karlous was v weak. They also only had full-fat milk. Only white sugar available ( not helpful if you're diabetic!) Pointed this out to the very uninterested young lady serving. She was completely uninterested.

Has everything you need it , from petrol , plenty of parking , clean and fresh facilities and a load of variety of shops to entertain yourself with. Restaurant wise, food was clean and hot , and the staff were friendly and with a good sense of humour. Happy customer. If you're staying overnight as an HGV/ trucker driver parking cost £18, so quite cheap compared to other places. 🙃

Excellent stop for good coffee in Costa at any time. Facilities in the services all very good and wide choice of food etc. Only one suggestion- the lovely hedge in front of Costa needs a good trim to facilitate views across the car park towards Bodmin Moor

best mcdonald’s i’ve ever been to in the whole country. we dipped them in taco bell cheese sauce. i think i’ve seen god tonight and god is mcnuggets and chicken selects dipped in taco bell cheese sauce. thanks for being a part of this religious experience.

Sadly the charging points were playing up again, second year in a row! They appear to start up OK as you plug it in and the moment you move away from the vehicle, they disconnect - I like the place as it is very spacious & offers a good selection of brands, etc. but not coming back here I'm afraid.

This place is fantastic! Easy to get in and out of, clean toilets, Mcdonalds, Greggs, Mountain Warehouse, Co-op, etc.... lots of choice. It's really clean and modern! Highly recommend!

Parking and exit is confusing. Toilets are at the back as most service areas which is frustrating and definitely not good for accessibility.

It was night. Services were closed except for the petrol station but I did not need fuel. It would be great if it was indicated on the motorway signs rather than wasting time going in before finding out. In many cases it is found a sign indicating when services are not 24h or only fuel 24h. Other than that very large parking and even a barber which I used in one occasion!

Went to subway at Cornwall services. Got served by reece at subway was with my 12 year old son. My son was nervous ordering and he was starting to panic. I warned reece my son was autistic. Reece had so much patience with him i warned because my son can not have his food touching so reece offered and seperate tub of sauce . Reece also repeated back to my son hos order. Honestly my sons stress levels came right down as he realized the sever understood his unique way of ordering. No preasure no rush. Well done reece you made his experience a positive one. He mentioned in the car on way home he would like to go subway again. Many thanks reece 😀

Such a pleasant place to stop, well laid out lots of food vendors to choose from which don’t get overwhelmed, clean bright and airy, staff are dilegent and helpful.

Good sized complex with lots of different restaurants inside. Lots of parking too.

Something for everyone! We had a pizza and veggie dog from the Miami stand, great value for money and really delicious food.

The toilets are now in need of a complete refurbishment, hopefully with better quality in mind this time. At the moment they are nothing like the quality of a similar Welcome Break services. The ventilation in the toilets has not worked for months now! I have changed my review from 5 stars 7 years ago when it was new to reflect this lack of maintenance. Sort it out guys.

As a lorry driver I like stopping over here for the night. It's £18 to park a lorry here overnight. That's without the meal voucher. It's got nice wide spaces, good facilities that are nice and clean and well maintained. The staff are nice and pleasant. I also get good Internet here.

As services go it must be one of the best in the country. Great range of shops not just the usual rip-off chains. I might have given five stars if I hadn't used the showers - they are absolutely disgusting. And I went in immediately after the cleaner had finished! I've used motorway services showers all across the country and they are often a bit sketchy but these are the worst by a very VERY long way.

Why is it that only the tesla charges work?? Plugged in to the gridserve chargers at cornwall service's, stoped working 3 times whilst I was inside having a bite to eat. Think I'm going to change to a diesel car! Shame cause cars are nice to drive but infrastructure is useless!!!!

The toilets are not pleasant...smell disgusting all needs refurbishment. The rest of the services are good very clean and shops are good and reasonable prices for food

Pretty much always going to stop here if I'm passing. Loads of choice, you can even get your hair cut if you have been travelling that long that it needs it. Good food options to choose from so you can swerve the queues.

The ladies toilets are disgusting they smell bad.. if I could of I would not of given it a one star

This is a great Cornwall Services station. I recently made a stop at Cornwall Services during travel to Newquay,and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exemptional. Facilities were top notch. The cleanliness and whole team were remarkable.

Great location for travellers and locals. Lovely friendly staff. Only let down by non functioning Wi-Fi when not that busy. Hopefully fixed soon.

As services go they provide a service, I find it a slow stop in a hurry.

Stop off here every year before we get to Mullion. Lovely clean services and great choice of eateries and shops. Also a lovely walk behind for dogs aswell.

Stopped to charge car plenty of empty Gridserve chargers and plenty of choice for coffee and cake.

Slow service, took ages to take order at the till. Massive queue at the barista end because slow making the drinks. Barista was too busy bellowing orders to other members of staff than concentrating on his own job. Asked for two frappes with cream and two cakes from their selection. Both drinks were slow in being made and then had no cream on them. Cake were so stale they were inedible so wrapped them up and threw them away. One was so hard that had you thrown it at a wall I’m sure it would have left a dent! 🤬 all in all won’t be coming here again, and I’m local to the services not a tourist.

Great service station only a drive through Costa no other drive through but have got McDonalds Costa GREGGS and others inside which are very good as well 👍👌

Went to meet other bikers for a ride out

Stopped at 4pm 28/12. Mostly closed and poor selection of food. Underwhelming and disappointing. Find somewhere else to stop.

Great services with a good selection of food and surf shops.

Fantastic place to stop for truck drivers lots of choice within the main building and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It was fantastic to find that the shower and toilet block are in such close proximity unlike other services where you have to walk a great distance. The only problem I encountered was that the shower was stone cold which is not the best at this time of year. Happy to stop again when in the area hope the showers are warmer next time.

Not open at 6 when it says.. disappointing since I drove 2 hours to get there for 6

Good selection of shops and clean toilets

We stopped off here on the 24/9/21 and my grandma fell over, a security guard appeared from nowhere helped her up and into a wheel chair and escorted us to the access toilet, 45 minutes into our journey home after stopping at the services my grandma noticed she’d lost her ring which was of massive sentimental value. The same security guard answered the telephone call and retraced our steps, he found the ring and sent it to us recorded delivery!! Alex is his name and he’s an absolute credit to your service station and we will forever be grateful!! THANKYOU ALEX! Your a star!

Just at the side of the A30 access from both sides easy to see and find. We'll signposted plenty of parking spaces for all fuel available. Choice of food outlets including Greggs and McDonald's but try a genuine cornish pasty brilliant. Great services staff very friendly and helpful and efficient clean and tidy well run. Covid aware and rules enforced mask worn at your descretion. Be aware if you are a driver facilities for you are very poor dirty and expensive for what you get. To the manager please sort out drivers facilities as if you do you could be one of the best services in the UK

Loads of parking. Wide selection of shops and eateries. Large clean toilets.

I have been a customer of the Pizza outlet at the services since the services first opened. They were originally called Open Oven and did great pizzas as well as salads, paninis, and other small sides. They were obviously aware they had a local customer base as well as the ‘passing’ tourists and there were various loyalty schemes available for locals over the years. The staff were friendly, pleasant, helpful and always pleased to see you. They suffered a minor disaster with a fire in the extractor fan system which seemed to take for ever to fix but we still went to them for baked potatoes and paninis throughout this time to try and support them. Fast forward to ‘post pandemic’ and they have been taken over/re-branded as the Cornish Pizza Kitchen. Now a Cornish resident I am very well aware of the impact of the pandemic and the ’invasions’ that took place post lock downs and currently. All very stressful for staff and customers alike. Ironically, having now changed the name to include ’Cornish’ it appears to be the Cornish that are being left behind. Gone are any loyalty schemes, despite what is might say on the services website. Gone are the little extras that made them more than just a pizza mill churning them out. Gone are the original friendly staff. I tried to take up the offer of getting loyalty card as advertised on the website of buy 4 get 5th half price today. Only to be told it did not exist. Apparently, it is not their fault, it was apparently discontinued before the summer, apparently it just has not been taken down off the website. Whoever is responsible needs to get their act back together. There is enough stress without causing unnecessary discussions between customers and front-line staff about discounts that do or don’t exist. I am hopeful that this autumn as the visitor levels drop the organisation will remember it is the locals that keep them going for a large chunk of the winter, get their act together and make sure their offers or lack of offers are correctly annotated on the relevant websites. That being said today’s pizza gets 7/10 for content, slightly over singed on the outside edges. This services is called the Gateway Services for Cornwall. You are there at our 'Shop-Front', PLEASE get the little things right to make peoples experiences memorable for the right reasons. Whilst I am on when are you going to sort out the direction signs for the CAR parking, missing since the Costa Drive Thru (FANTASTIC) opened up, and the EXIT sign which fell down months ago. I use the services almost daily and still see people obviously lost and confused by the lack of signs. Thanks.

Great stop halfway down all the way to the end of Cornwall...It has Greg's, McDonald's, Subway, Costa plus local pasties, Mango Surf Shack and Salt Rock...if Carlsberg did services this would be one of them...🍺🍻

The BP next to the services is manned by a crazy lady who randomly shouts at customers for no legitimate reason.

Everything you need. Largest services around look for the map of Cornwall on the wall In side. This review is updated from 5 stars 2 years ago to only 2. Clip n climb has gone now you have Co op and a tiny indoor play area where you get 1.5 hours not much food on offer in here spaced out tables told where to sit what to do can't buy food outside almost another regimental prison experience not worth the entrance fee. Cornwall services is just now full of fast food brands.

Went during our journey down to Cornwall. During the very hot weather and weekend period. The times we stopped off was very busy and crowded to our surpise at 10am in the morning. But venue was very clean, car park very tidy. And the stop off wasn't too bad at all. Up keep is well looked after as expected

Not very caravan or motorhome friendly really as £18 if more than 2 hours, it seems holliday makers are just a target for cash. one to avoid in future i think.

Costa - Usually a really good experience, drive through closed to top up so went inside. This was meant to be a medium mocha was put into a big cup aa had run out of medium cups. Didn't check as had more than one drink to carry this what was in my cup when opened without drinking any of it....very disappointed 😞!! Not what is expected.

Nothing more irritating than a services boasting of long opening hours when almost everything is shut at 6pm!!! Had ten mins to drink a tea before being turfed out. Adjust your opening hours online.

Love this service. They make such good Costa coffees. The food is also amazing. It can be busy at times but I still Highly recommended this services station.

Cornwall services are brilliant, especially thoughout the covid pandemic. However the staff in subway need an attitude check. Very rude and acting like it was a chore to serve people. The shops are brilliant and the Cornish stone baked pizza oven is amazing.

Good location, excellent pasties

We are travelling to Cornwall in a few weeks & stopping at Cornwall Services with our Son who has a hidden disability so I had a few questions for Cornwall Services (those with children with additional needs will I’m sure understand). I sent an email this morning & had a rely within minutes from a super helpful Lisa Sutherland followed up by a call from the manager, Alex Lawson. They were both so friendly & helpful with our requests and delivered excellent customer service, credit where it’s due ! 🤩🤩

24/7 accessible toilets/showers + launderette. Best place to pass by, and get breakfast while doing washing, or charging your EV

Just a stop for toilets which were organised 're covid 19 very well although some people clearly ignored the signage. Queues at MacDonalds

The choice of shops/food places here was decent. However as we visited during Covid the toilets were a bit of a joke. Only 3 urinals open and 1 in 4 hand dryers. Surely every other one would be sufficient, also every other cubical, I’m sure the cubical itself provides enough protection!? Also when leaving the car park the exit sign is hidden behind a bush. The way the roads are laid out means you have a good chance of driving up to a one way bit and doing a loop back round the car park, myself and as I came back round at least 3 other cars missed the exit (following what looks like the obvious way out) and had to drive round again.

Plenty of parking, great food and surfing gear !

I visited here hoping to use the facilities and get something to eat. Sadly when I went in the facilities were open but the only food outlet open was a Subway sandwich shop which had a bit of a queue (line) which I didn't gave the patience for. Im sure during normal times when everythings open, this place is probably busy. I'd stop here again hopefully when more is open. Recommend.

Its a service centre, situated on an "A" road but charging motorway services prices.

nice rooms, free parking secured with cctv, the only reason for giving 4 stars is the breakfast which was bad.

During the long drive a must to take break.. good place with well maintained services. McDonalds, Subway, live cooked pizza were available.

Toilets are clean but what a total over the top reaction to COVID. COSTA have a maze of tables to walk around, you get yelled at if you fail to see the entrance which isn’t marked. Yet no one is cleaning this maze that the public are leaning on. McDs you only know you have to leave the building and go around the side after getting to their store. Prior notification would help instead of people on an ego trip. Not one surface wiped down in 45 mins.

Next to nothing open on a Sunday

I was on my way back from Exeter after a beautiful week with my best friend and flatmates, and I was desperate for a maccies. I saw the grand, modern looking Cornwall service station to my left and could almost taste the nuggets in my mouth. Here, I give 2 stars purely for the potential I was able to see in these services, but I was disgusted to find that pretty much NOTHING inside was open. It's 6PM on a Thursday. What is this!? Come on bois. This really isn't on. I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, I need feeding. I'm now at McDonald's on hamburger hill and I'm in the queue. I'll be alright, but we're cutting it fine!
