The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

I came to Morrisons Basingstoke to buy fresh tilapia from their fish section and decided to pick up one the their cake shop doughnuts. I choose the raspberry flavour but lo and behold when l got home only one doughnut had not enough raspberry jam in it. I opened the second doughnut to find there was no jam in that one which prompted me to open the rest of the doughnut only to find those were empty too. Please Morrisons do not cheat people and sell products that doesn’t correspond to the description. Very disappointed and won’t buy doughnuts from there again as this is the second time it’s happened to that’s why lm prompted to write this review.

Bought two tuna melt paninis. Watched as they put as many items into the oven as possible. Used the same tongs to handle meat and vegetable products. Due to overloading the oven my panini was cold in the middle and my husband was accidentally given a ham and cheese when he's pescatarian for a reason. Took time to ask your name, but called out drinks by describing each one once they were made. Why bother taking names? All the food was replaced, but you shouldn't have to tell people how to do their job. It should be basic food hygiene and allergy awareness with no excuses.

There are two Costa cafes in the area. This review is for Costa at Showcase which is in the cinema and does not have a drive-through service. The cafe is at the entrance to the cinema with generous window seating at the front and cosy soft seating area at the back. Staff are courteous and drinks well made. I sometimes stop here when out for a walk as you can enjoy the views and dunshine on a good day. The coffee and food are standard Costa menu but the place always seems busy so food and drinks are fresh.

If you’re polite everyone’s polite, I was just double checking my change had a coffee shop and saw 33 bad reviews and remembered I’d been here several times, never experienced the appalling service and coffee people complain about, it’s a train station coffee it’s not that deep and and not an insane price it’s a heaven send on a bad day when your train drive past you just enjoy it please chill and respect people that serve you. Food was fantastic staff happy most had a smile kitchen staff the same waited only 7 mins for mains food and was busy in restaurant, think a new restaurant Manager had started as we asked who he was and got told he started end of December which is good to hear but maybe he needs to actually work rather then standing around hands behind his back, one girl did comment he spends most of the days in kitchen but his a restaurant manager so be where u should be and kitchen has been doing fantastic before he came, I've been coming here for many a year and food has improved so much in the last months with the new kitchen Manager who is lovely bubbly her food is always on the button, but must say new Manager do some work not just move things around or stand watching what an easy job you have, garden centre is laid out well but some plants did look dead

It beats me why such a beautiful garden has such a TERRIBLE cafe. It's over-priced and if you have to travel a long way, you're better off bringing your own picnic, or going somewhere else. Seriously, the RHS o=ought to get their act together and give a good chef the cafe franchise, They'd get far more happy customers visiting the gardens too.

I am a regular here and always friendly and polite staff.. they know exactly how I like my coffee.. woodnt want to go anywhere else.. when any of the women serve me they are always helpful and I do love a apple pie with my cup of coffee.. very much recommend this place

AVOID! AVOID! Bagshot COSTA in Surrey Heath London Rd. You will regret why you went there. Please use another branch. DON’T be another VICTIM. Avoid this COSTA. It is a trap. Basically, they use County Court to get into your pocket. On 03/12/2022 I visited with my friends for a cup of coffee, but I am now regretting it as today 06/03/2025 I received a letter from The County Court Ordering me to pay £217.25 for the 15 I parked over the allowed time (90 minutes).

Came to Marks and Spencer for coffee, asked for our tea and tea cakes! They did not have any tea cakes, this happens frequently when going to their cafes. All they say is it’s not available on that day, but it happens frequently!!! I’ve complained for years about this, not having goats or soya milk in the cafe!! They sell it in the shop, so they do have it!!! When toast came it was warm to say the least!!! Also staff were rude, they seemed annoyed we even asked and asked why it happens a lot! We didn’t really get an answer! Also when trying to pay the lady was rude and told me I had to wait, but she was really abrupt!!! Made me feel like I was an inconvenience! If I spoke to my patients like that, I would be warned!!! When we walked to the tables not one was clean, we had sat down for about 10 minutes before they started to clear them!!! Inefficiency at its best!!!

Came to Starbucks with family 2 grandchildren found staff unfriendly and impatient. I approached counter but later on but the 4 male staff were engaged in their own conversation to serve me .. won’t be going back

Simple order.. 2 x ciabatta one,, with chips both with salad dressing separate...1 x sandwich with chips . Four times I read it to the lady at the till. When served so many errors. No crisps on one plate, only one chips, only one salad dressing . No ap[ology or refund offered, we just had to wait for them to correct it all How hard can it be they undo this day in and day out.Unbelievable!!

This is a really great spot in Beaconsfield, perfect & fresh cakes and bakes, and even better coffee. Nice friendly staff and plenty of options for seating; highly recommend.

Went to Dobbies for the first time today. Arrived at 11 15 for breakfast which is served until 11 30 (or so they say)… service was SO slow and they stopped serving breakfast before 11 30 after we had been in the queue. Not only this but they didn’t say they were stopping breakfast, just took the sign away and when questioned, all they said was “we’re too busy” Terrible service

After a busy and exilerating experience exploring the waterfall and surrounding paths we treated ourselves to a cuppa and some fresh Homemade Cake. Absolutely gorgeous
