Costa Drive Thru in Surrey Heath

AVOID! I went for a coffee with a friend and received a £140 fine! The service was slow and my friend was late. Neither of us realised there was a risk of a fine for using the car park and so for a £16 visit, I am absolutely appalled to receive an agressive letter threatening £140 fine increasing to £170 :( I am a part-time TA I cannot afford this and would NEVER intentionally over stay and risk any sort of fine like this. I SAW NO SIGNS so this is a shock. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CAFE MANAGEMENT so best to just avoid in case this happens to you.

Frequently visit this Costa. Excellent service. Great coffee and staff very efficient and friendly. Also spotlessly clean.

Excellent drive through and coffee consistently good. Friendly staff and plenty of parking round side if ypu wish to stay.

I visited here in (I think) around 2019 with a friend. All I can assume is that I must have stayed over a 90 minute time slot (based on other reviews). Unfortunately I had recently moved and never got the fine or knew I had one. I only discovered I had one when a letter came through last week notifying me I have a CCJ against my name and the fine is now £302... Would highly recommend parking elsewhere or avoiding altogether. Can honestly say I doubt the coffee was worth it.

Terrible, went for a business meeting. Coffee was okay, not great, over priced for what it is. 2 weeks later £60 fine arrives as I was 12 mins over an apparent 90 minute limit. I didn't notice any signs at all so they must be hidden or tiny. Not impressed at all!

Or ever visit again due to unexpected £100 parking fine . There is a time restriction for the parking space Beware. Not worth the stress!!

This place seems to have really turned around in the last month. There is one particular member of staff (Theo) that always seems happy to be there and cannot do enough for you which makes all the difference. Keep up the good work!

Frequently have coffee here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Coffee is always good and HOT. People complaining about parking should get their eyes tested because there are signs on every table and on the wall and counter telling them to register your car!! These signs have been here and out in the car park for a considerable time. Don’t know what else this branch could do to make it any clearer. I

Just received a £60 parking fine for staying over 90 minutes in this Costa Coffee! I met a friend there and we enjoyed two coffees each over a chat. We were not warned by the staff and did not expect our custom to not be welcome for more than 90 minutes! Just money making scam. I will not be going there again for the drive through or inside the premises.

I spoke to them and they don’t care you have a fine. They could see how long I had been there and told me their was a parking restriction

Often visit Costa Bagshot as it is very near where we live and our experience has always been great! Been in again today.....Must say since Joanna joined the team the place is always very clean and tidy. If she is not serving, she is busy clearing and clearing tables. A real asset toCosta.

Just been to the Bagshot branch, closed for training unless you’re in a car, walk around to the drive through to be told we can’t be served because we’re not in a car and we need to move on for health and safety reasons. Not another soul around! You tell me if that’s the right way to treat your customers. Good customer service would have been to take an order and bring it out to us or just serve us. It seems to me that the staff could do with a lesson in customer service. Let’s hope that was what the training was for!

Used the drive though last week for the first time. The staff member we interacted with was fantastic. Made us laugh, the perfect start to our shopping trip!The drinks were all lovely, pastries were great and service was quick and efficient. We will definitely visit again.

Last visit i thought it was average food/drink at grossly in inflated prices.A year later not having a Mcdonalds on route i tried again.I saw prices which are mostly more than double Macs prices but read their offer of coffee and bacon roll £2.50 !!!To my anger in tiny print it said BUY A MEDIUM COFFEE AND GET BACON ROLL FOR £2.50!!!The total cost was more than double the same combo at Macs and NOT as good.To make matters worse i found no sugar / no stirrer / no sauce for bacon roll / no napkins.Please drive an extra 3 miles to the nearest Mcdonalds you will be be off in every way.

Sat in drive through queue for at least 20 minutes. There’s now way to get out of queue do you just have to wait. Obviously they don’t have enough staff. Sort it out. Will not return.

Where do I start. All this place has done since its opened has created daily traffic jams and it now takes me twice as long to get home each night. I tried it one day and I have never waited so long to be served and I was the only one in the queue. I also get very frustrated when I ask for something and the person cannot understand me, as English is not their first language. Why someone thought we needed a Costa in Bagshot is beyond me, when there are already over ten outlets in our small village who sell coffee!

Dione is such a friendly and enthusiastic lively person. What a great personality and an asset to your company. You can’t help but drive away with a coffee and a smile after she has served you. Xx

Have been to this Costa a few times never used the drive thru but have eaten and drank in here a few times.

Decided to sit in this time and had a good experience. The food was great, the coffee tasty and the staff very polite.

Shame that this Costa does not ever have newspapers - they say the reason is the supplier lets them down...just a suggestion but perhaps get another supplier. Other Costas offer daily newspapers.

Great little Costa, good location to catch people! Staff are really friendly and efficient, only comment is twice the toilet had needed servicing, and that's early morning so its been like that overnight!

This is exactly what you would expect from Costa, in a former Pub, but with the added ease of a drive through for convenience!

I have been using the Drive-Thru regularly and have to say service is a little mixed.

The location of this drive thru is really tricky to get to. Bagshot is well known for its traffic off the M3 and it’s usually chockablock between the hours of 4 and 7. If you’re turning left into the drive thru, the turning comes up very quickly and even with lots of warning cars still get annoyed at you for slowing down there. Alternatively if you are turning right to get into the drive thru it is very confusing. There is painted lane in the road with an arrow pointing right at the traffic light however the traffic light clearly says no right turns. You also can only turn left out of the drive thru and then finding a place to turn around is tricky in all the traffic. I don’t see this place lasting very long which is a shame because it had potential to be good. On a positive note, the beverages are delightful.

Have visited twice now. Have not used the drive thru but "sat in" some comfortable seating (by the windows) Not huge inside but adequate.

Still very new so quiet. Furniture is new and some big improvements on the tired furniture you can find in many Costas. A good effort to create a more intimate atmosphere and if the numbers grow should be a nice place to stop. Very clean right now. You know what you are getting with any Costa so you are on safe ground if it is a brand you are comfortable with.
