Costa - Camberley 2 in Surrey Heath

I stopped by during my travels and was more impressed than I expected, so I'm posting a review. The taste and service were great. May you prosper, boss.

It is located in the "The Square" shopping mall in Camberley. The food is great for the price. Boss, the staff is so kind that I will visit again.💓💞💕👍🏻

Very delicious. The taste of the food is clear. It has a Thai flavor 95%. Cambodian employees provide very good service. This is my favorite place to eat when I am visiting Camberley. The food is delicious and always freshly made. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I recommend the Chilli Chicken and the Salmon Sushi!

Food is good but charging 75p for an extra container is highway robbery that results in two less stars. It's just not right or cool to do that.

Food was good but the highchair was absolutely filthy. Sticky, thick with grime. It's obviously not cleaned properly for a very long time, and if anything in the restaurant is that dirty, that loses a few stars for me.

Have been using this branch for many years and have to say they seem to have upped their game in the last year or so. Even when there’s a queue waiting to order, counter staff are quick on their feet serving and we always manage to find a spare table (I think it helps that a number of staff have been here for a while and know what they’re doing). Also noticed that tables are quickly cleared and cleaned (usually by the efficient blonde lady who seems to be the manager).

Nice Asian fast food. Good quality and value plus a pleasant service.

The cuisine here is exquisite, with a noticeable distinction from the offerings in Bracknell. The ingredients are consistently fresh, resulting in a delightful dining experience.

Raised their prices a bit,BUT you still get as much as before. I don't mind paying more for the same quality and quantity.

From my previous visit i felt its standards have slipped. Costs, like everywhere else, have gone up too. Not such value for money. For the same price as a Katsu Chicken curry I can get a proper lunch in a pub.

Always enjoy the sweet & sour chicken and sweet chilli chicken mix. Always consistent, filling and packed full of flavour. The Camberley restaurant has decent amount of seating.

I Used to love kokoro, but sadly I wasn't impressed this week, i went twice, once with my daughter who chewed her chicken so much but ended up spitting it out 3/4 because its was too chewy. Then stupidly gave them a second chance ordered a chicken curry (nothing special and meat is all cheap thigh) . However I think the portion size is great, so is the katsu curry just stay clear of the sweet chilli chicken.

Great tasting food, quick service and nice vibe. Just popped in for something healthy and substantial for lunch. So full now! 😋

Loved it, first time trying this and it as divine

On July 15th, 2023, we placed an order for *KATSU* due to running out. We didn't mind waiting and sat down by the window. After a few minutes, a girl behind the counter called me to collect our food, and we began eating. However, I soon noticed that another girl was bringing food to customers on our left and right. This made me wonder what was going on. Why was I asked to collect the food from the counter while others were served at their tables? It seemed like your staff treated customers differently. We're all human and I have paid exact amount of money that cost me for our food.

Food is good and are quite alot of options of food, food is really nice

Food is always great and the atmosphere is good. However some of the colleagues that work here are fantastic and some really behave like they don't want to be there and are very clear in the service they give.

Popped in to get lunch today and was served by a very lovely polite person and the food was SO yummy, I had the tofu katsu curry, you get so much even in the smaller size and it tasted incredible, thank you!

Always large portions so very filling. The food is very salty and they should provide some free tap water/ filling station.

I had today Suma getting ready my meals for take away and she was brilliant, genuinely smiling and she offered a great delivery. Amazing definitely I will return.

The food is OK. But the servers are useless -forgotten Food orders and needed promting. They charge extra for pots/lids/bags - paid with change and had to force them to put it through the til for a receipt.

Nice but food vary blend no taste

Firstly, staffs are really rude , not professional at all , restaurants claim themselves as Japanese authentic sushi and bento but I didn’t see Any vibes and the staffs need proper training, secondly the food was not good and not the value for the money that I spent and it is expensive. Thirdly , restaurant is dirty.

Visiting Kukoro today for lunch was a disappointing experience. For me it’s a shame how much the prices have increased but the service has worsened. Todays experience epitomise this. We waited 10 minutes in the queue to reach the front only to be told to wait. The employee working our till and two others then proceeded to fulfil what I suspect was a large call in order. No explanation was give, no communication whatsoever. The second till kept asking for the next customer and we were overlooked by five sets of customers. Out till operative said and did nothing. I chose not to wait any longer as I was disgusted my partner waited a total of a further 15 minutes to be served. She then received her prawn Katsu curry and found her medium pot only half full. She questioned this only to be told prawn katsu was only 3 pieces of prawn. No where did it display this and if you consider the meal is £8 so your paying that for 3 small pieces and either rice or noodle. My partner said then she’d like a return or exchange for the tofu option so she actually received a meal for the price but was told flat out no by the store manager. The overall experience was disappointing from basic courtesy, communication to customer service and end product. For me it’s the final straw as prices have increased too much for the product and the product itself has suffered in quality. My examples are the sweet chilli chicken and katsu chicken being over cooked and dry. I do hope the service improves for others and the product is once again made with care for taste and not for profit margins and quantity.

Awful grub. Aloe Vera is not supposed to be served in a bottle. Three words for the curry. Disappointing, cold and lumpy

Ordered sweet chilli chicken. Usually its very tastie. Not today. Bland. Used to be 5.25 for a regular now 7.25. And they charge for the bag for takeaway. Which is a first. I know carrier bags are charged but takeaway bags?

The food was terrible felt really sick after and its very expensive for a little pot.

Food is good, service is quick and waitress was nice. There wasn't many people waiting at the time but it's usually very busy.

These guys are always so friendly whenever I pop in. The click and collect is very efficient too. An excellent team running this place!

Quick service, generous portions. Seats available in store. Only thing that would make it easier is to eat off a plate or bigger bowl so you can get to the rice or noodles at the bottom!

There isn't once that I have not seen this place without a que, I reccomend visiting outside of lunch hours or doing takeaway. My favourite choice? Sweet chilli chicken over rice with spicy pork combo.

As a late lunch the chicken katsu was delicious, a bit too much sauce for my liking. Perhaps over eagerness on the servers part? However, as usual excellent service, could not fault it

Been going to Kokoro in Camberley for 2 years and is alwahs consistent and fresh! We went to other Kokoros but i think because Camberley one is always so busy so the fish remains fresh! Their katsu curry is a good to and i also like their spicy pork which is mega spicy. Thank you for always giving a good experience.

I went today around Two O'clock afternoon and asked a lady behind the counter to serve me half noodles and half rice with katsu curry, I don't seem to see what the issue is as both noodles and rice are same price. Only reply I got from her was "we don't serve like that". That lady didn't even ask me if I wanted receipt after purchase let alone being polite.

Food is lovely, however eat in or get a takeaway, daylight robbery if you deliveroo them!!

I usually order food from here quite regularly over Deliveroo and it’s getting more expensive by the day. £5.70 for 3 small spring rolls? That’s daylight robbery. Adding service charges to a service you as a business need to provide in order to survive, 10p for bag when they can simply use paper bags like most takeaways. Flavours are not consistent either, so called spicy pork is sometimes sweet and not what it was last year. Chicken katsu taste horrible and can taste the old oil. Disappointed! I will not be ordering from here anymore.

Sushi is great and fresh, my favourite chicken guyoza as well, even katsu is good BUT they are very busy and flooded with takeaway orders and you end up standing in front of the tilt watching the staff preparing a lot of food for takeaway orders, not for you. It wasn't an one off, it happened every single time I've been there. If you like to wait and not been served then go for it, otherwise maybe stick with takeaway, it will be with you much quicker.

Went for lunch, the place was busy. Reason it's busy cos the food is really tasty and priced reasonably. I had the teriyaki chicken and rice, portions are really generous. Really nice atmosphere.

Opted for Kokoro during my lunchbreak. Despite there being 3 members of staff taking orders and the queue not being particularly long, it still took almost 20 minutes before I was able to place my order. Despite their leisurey pace though staff are friendly enough and food is decent quality. If you're not on the clock and have time to spare then this shouldn't be an issue. If you're looking to pick something up quickly though then perhaps consider going elsewhere.
