The good taste cafe in Surrey Heath

Really good food and was given a traybake as a gift which was a lovely suprise!

I really want to like this place but the products are not great and don't always seem fresh. In fact, the lady picked out the oldest looking tart on the shelf to serve to me! Service is non-existent, and you feel like you're intruding. It's such a shame. Need a good bakery in Camberley.

Needs a fresh feel and good customer service, lady who served me was put the wrong items. Didn't realise until I got home.

The place has officially gone downhill, the staff are rude and whenever we have asked a question they respond in such a condescending manner that you feel like not returning! Food quality has changed too while the prices have increased 30% in the last year! You can tell their tarts are no longer daily fresh!! Such a disappointment as it was our favourite pastry location!

great products and great price

I ordered two sausage and bacon baguettes and they were superb. I also ordered a cheese and tomatoe sandwich and a prawn mayonnaise. Both stale bread and the prawn mayonnaise no mayonnaise just watery prawns...disgusting.

Went there today at 1500 and they where shut

Great service from the young lady today(Saturday) smiley service with personality. Had the pistachio slice and Viennese whirl. Good value and tasty. Yummy frangipane tart(tasty, buttery and fresh) and black coffee for £3.95. Great value for fresh goods. Service was attentive and polite. Will be back again.

First time ordering ,sausages & bacon well overcooked ,seemed like being cooked then reheated !Bread fresh ,sausage rolls in pastry good & was butterscotch tart ,but all products overpriced plus add on charges

Ordered 3 Brie and bacon panini for lunch. In all 3 the bacon was barely cooked at best. Some bits were still translucent. Not impressed at all

It's really tasty food. The only thing that let it down was just eat and the packaging itself. Wrapped in a paper white bag that got soggy. It's really nice food, though. I would just recommend another form of packaging for takeaways. Like foil or something to keep it hot.

Ordered on Deliveroo several times lately - the breakfast baguette is so good. Fully loaded and a challenge to finish! Prices are a tad on the higher side, but when you compare to Starbucks which is £5 a toastie it’s good value and actually fresh! Support local ✌🏻

Very impressed! I have limited expectations when ordering through just eat but this was probably the best food I’ve received. The burger and fries were without fault, the chicken baguette was the size of a small home and packed with fresh salad. Outstanding, and would strongly recommend. Thank you Good Taste Bakery x

The food was actually okay but I paid extra for cheese in my sandwich but didn’t get any

Great breakfast roll, excellent portion size and quality ingredients.

Unfortunately a cheese and onion panini was delivered when it should have been ham and cheese. Also the bacon in the bacon & brie panini wasn't cooked enough. A bit disappointing.

I bought two eclairs for dessert. But they were not real eclair . they were fake eclairs dessert. a complete disappointment. Those who produce these eclair must have never tasted real eclair in their lives.

Really good. Food was hot and fresh.

First i ordered 2 cheese scones and i only got 1, second i asked for no napkins and i got loads, this order was such a disappointment to have missing items and obviously nobody read my message, personally for me if you mess up i will never order form you again and I'm true to my word and i won't, I have always given you great feedback in the past but no more, a polite delivery driver.

Panini’s were cold and food was delivered an hour later than it first said. Can’t comment on the restaurant as had no communication or update from them

Fresh breads, with welcomed proper fillings in the sandwich, though less meat In the baguette. Not bad at all, despite the prices.

Food was exceptionally delicious. They ran out of a danish pastry I ordered, so they rang me and offered me an alternative; I also received an additional one as compensation for them not having my desired pastry, which was very lovely of them to do!

Excellent food and great service

Lovely cozy bakery with lots of options to choose from. We loved what we ordered- sourdough bread, Apple Danish, fruit tart and Mac n cheese. Very fresh ingredients and pleasant staff, too. Will surely recommend.

Disappointed to have to put another negative review again. The last order we received was stale and the bakery had promised to send replacement items with next order. Today was the next order and request was noted clearly on the order but the bakery did not send as promised. Should have requested a refund last time. Such a shame as the quality and delivery time were excellent, so I should have been putting a glowing review :(

Quite disappointed, the Danish was very dry and didn’t taste fresh even after warming it up.

I ordered two large quiches and a chocolate cake a couple of weeks ago, collected yesterday. They were absolutely delicious, the chocolate cake decoration was exceptional. I think the cost was good value for money as well.

I was quite disappointed with the two bakery items that I bought today to say the least. Absolutely disgusting that they can sell food that tastes like it’s old. The chocolate eclair did not taste fresh(rock solid). The vienesse whirl was also old. Will never be going back.

Never got my order delivered and have to wait 7 days for a refund and can’t even get delivery fee refunded and it’s just eats fault terrible

Two white baguettes felt stale. Hardly any filling in either for the price expected more. Disappointed.

The estimated delivery time was adjusted so the delivery was made within the adjusted time, but it was 50 mins which was much longer than we have waited in the past. The Muffins were very dry/stale. This is disappointing as we have had excellent quality when we have ordered in the past

One woman is so rude. Prices are a joke. Panini just put in the oven for a few seconds. It was soft. Won’t be returning.

Rude women today Sunday .it was as if I was annoying her but asking for a loaf of white bread and for £2.40 a loaf expect better customer service

Staff rather abrupt and dismissive they make requesting certain things for YOUR food as though you shouldn’t be asking and reply with ‘we can’t do that’. Food very average and manners below average

Delicious burger and tasty baguette

First, since delivery ever started from year's ago, this delivery driver was the most polite and decent guy I've ever had from any delivery service, the food is outstanding as usual and i highly recommend these guys.

VERY GENEROUS WITH FILLING. POTATO HOWEVER WAS LUKEWARM AND CLEARLY REHEATED

Visited here for lunch and had a cheese mayo and cheese baguette. Absolutely lovely and overflowing with filling! Finished it off with a chocolate twist. Again delicious. Really good value for money too. This is definitely somewhere we'll be visiting again for lunch. Really lovely, welcoming staff too.

Had Mac & cheese & sweet potato fries. Really hot on arrival. Very tasty. Could have done with some salt for fries but that’s just nit picking. Fries got good reviews from everyone who pinched some.

They didn’t have one of the items that I ordered and I unfortunately missed them calling to let me know, so included alternatives and an addition of another item I’d ordered, as well as a very sweet apology note! Was much appreciated and very generous of them, plus the food here is delicious! Many thanks Good Taste, will of course order again.

I've just taken off 1 star as my food was delivered to the wrong flat and by the time i found it which was outside flat 2 on the ground floor, I always say I'm on the first floor, I heated the food in the microwave so not ideal but the burger with extra cheese was outstanding it was just a shame that it was delivered to the wrong flat to start with but I'll definitely be ordering again very soon.

So i had the burger and chips and the burger is in my top 3 in my life and I'm 58 and had a lot of burgers, so nice to have cheddar cheese in the burger and the burger is a very good size and all the food arrived piping hot and in very nice packaging, I did like the vinegar as i always forget to buy it, I've never had a bad experience from here the food is always fresh and yummy, top notch. P's I'm stuffed 😊

We’ve ordered from here a couple of times now, generous portions great food. Extras were added on our first order along with a lovely note. We will make this a regular place for us we absolutely love it, would thoroughly recommend.

This was my first time with there macaroni cheese with the salad, the salad was lovely and fresh and a good variety of salad but no onion but for me that's a good thing as it gives me bad heartburn, the macaroni cheese was very nice and a decent portion but I'm a pig and would eat twice that size but as i said I'm a pig when it comes to macaroni cheese, very polite driver especially in the heat today.

Great food as always and i do like that there baguettes they leave the end on as so many just cut them off and there part of my favourite bit and also i hate waste, the Chelsea bun was on a different scale, good job, P's the delivery driver was extremely polite.

Food was yummy, we ordered a big breakfast of baguettes and coffee for two. Was on time, even the coffee was decent, well cooked and good ingredients. Excellent service, thank you will be ordering again!

£5.10 for this . I no prices gone up but seriously . Tasty but soooo expensive . Rather save money and go tesco s. Meal deals.

Since they change their coffee machine and price increase by 40%, their Cappacino is not worth to buy at all, it's flat.

I haven't eaten them yet as there for my lunch but i thought I'd get in early as the Cornish pasties haven't been available lately but I'm so looking forward to them as i know that they will be delicious and a very polite delivery driver.

Was lovely as always. I only had one problem though, with that they had put beans in the brunch bar which usually aren't in it, so it ruined it a little bit for me as I don't like beans. But other than that, it was amazing :)

The food was really nice but one main item was missing. I was called but it was confusing as they said they would replace but didn’t so I had to get a refund.

Always arrives on time, nothing missing, and tastes great!. Worth the extra cost to stay home and have it delivered!

Delicious as always and what i do like about these guy's is the consistency of there baguettes there always the same quality and portion size.

My prawn baguette was very watery and had far to much butter in it. Not an enjoyable experience. My wife’s bacon sandwich was not pleasant either as the fat on the bacon hadn’t been rendered down, very chewy. Will not be ordering from here ever again!

As always just delicious and fresh, the lardy cake is to die for and all of the savoury pies i had today just delicious.

First i was so happy to see these doing the delivery, this is by far the best baker's in the whole of Surrey Heath hands down, if its the same owner he is such a nice guy and so passionate at everything he does, the food is outstanding and for the quality you're getting its great value for money, unlike other where they make there rolls and sandwiches in the morning this was definitely made fresh to order, i can't recommend these enough and no i don't work for them and also a very polite delivery driver, looking forward to ordering again very soon 😊.

Honestly I have never met such rude staff. I have been coming here for years and not once have any of them been polite. I understand its a busy place but seriously! They have now lost me and my friends and family

Avoid. Have never experienced such rude, unhelpful staff. I’m a care worker and went to ask about a particular item my client requested and never in my 20 years of life have I been met with such rudeness. Avoid at all costs. With the look the woman gave me you’d think I’d killed her cat.

Person who served me entered the wrong price for the items I bought into the till which I didn't know as there are no prices on anything. Did not tell me that so I gave what was displayed. Gave me a rude comment back when I gave her less, as she expected me to know she had keyed in the wrong price. Very rude, no customer skills and the doughnuts I bought tasted like they have been bought from Sainsbury's in the mall but at 3 times the price

Love the Mocha and Almond Croissants. Has cheered me up during lockdown. I am confused with the bad reviews. Have been going there on and off when I am in town for years and always good.

Good Taste Bakers are a little bit of normal in these difficult times! The bread, pastries etc are delicious. They have a wide variety of breads and endeavour to get your favourite if you order on a Friday. Lovely staff and there is something for everyone icluding Vegan pastries etc.

i was eating here with my granddaughter and found the staff very rude, as the food was not of a good standard. the service was very poor.indeed. i will not be eating here again.
