The best restaurants in South East

Just wanted to leave a review to say thank you. My newborn kept waking up from her naps and would cry when she heard the ice cream van song, I politely asked if they wouldn’t mind parking a little bit further down the road as it had happened on a few occasions. The person driving the ice cream van was very nice about it and even apologised which wasn’t necessary. Since this, they continue to park on the opposite road and don’t play the song. So THANK YOU very much for being so respectful! 😄

Second Saturday in a row, Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Menu has so much to choose from - every meal arrived perfectly

I’ve visited here twice now with my boyfriend and the toasties here are the best toasties I’ve ever had in my entire life. On my most recent visit, I had the gammon, cheese, and bacon jam toastie which is absolutely delicious. I had never heard of bacon jam before I visited here. I was a bit skeptical that it would taste nice but I was very pleasantly surprised that it was actually so tasty and it worked really well. The amount of filling in the toastie is really generous as well which is a bonus and the bread they use is delicious. They also serve some organic fizzy drinks. On my first visit, I had a cherry cola which I think was a Fentimans cherry cola though I could be wrong. It is certainly an acquired taste although it wasn’t bad. The other Fentimans fizzy drinks might be a bit better. I saw that they had macarons with the variety of cakes they were selling so I decided to get one. It was a passionfruit macaron with a vanilla filling and it tasted amazing! I will say that unfortunately the macaron was hollow so I think maybe they overworked the batter or something when making them. It’s not this cafe’s fault though because I think they get all their cakes from a local bakery. The actual cafe is well decorated and is really cozy. It has a nice atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. They have some outdoor seating as well so we sat outside during a summer visit. I would definitely recommend a visit here if you’re in Buckingham and fancy a good toastie. They really are some of the best toasties around and they serve a variety of cakes to indulge yourself with.

Mediterranean and Asian breakfasts were excellent. Friendly atmosphere and nice seating area in the rear of the restaurant. I will definitely be eating here again and looking forward to ordering takeaway soon.

I have been going to Van in MK market for many years. Taste is always good and consistent. Inder serves with smile. Chole bhaturey, Samosas are very good.

Authentic wood fired pizza, great tasting! Regular feature at the westerham brewery. Great price good quality food.

Ordered a large family collection and food was ready and freshly prepared in 15 minutes. The cod was huge , melt in the mouth and battered to perfection, portions were huge I just wish they sold Spam Fritters and I’d never need to go anywhere else again for our “chippy night “

Wevdropped into the WestvMeon for lunch and were not disappointed. Plenty of food served quickly and very enjoyable.

Wonderful home-made Portuguese cooking by Dina. We were there on a Saturday night. It's a small cafe / restaurant only open in the evening on a Saturday. There's a small menu of traditional Portuguese dishes. We had a range of them, and they were all delicious. BYO with £5/bottle corkage. Fantastic service.

I am normally a Greggs girly when it comes to a bacon roll, but recently I saw a sign at the pantry for “hot bacon rolls” and thought I would give it a try…and I was not disappointed! I managed to park conveniently right outside and went in to a calm, cool and cozy environment. I was greeted immediately and served quickly and my roll was amazing! Will definitely be returning 🙂

Great place to go for Great service, super food and reasonable prices. Doing my bit for the workers out there, go and get some great food even better when the daughter is cooking. Don't tell him that though.

Same address as Chelles I believe this is now Little Rita’s Cafe Had walked past this cafe for months and was waiting for the perfect time to pop in. Happened to be 18/09/21. Had an away day football game, and the breakfast set me up perfectly for that on a Saturday morning. Delicious. All for £7.50 a full English and a mug of tea with the offer of a refill. Owner was chatty, ensuring all customers were being served. Can’t recommend the full English enough.

This most delicious and authentic dim sum is the best I've tasted for ages. We could favourably compare this to anything we've had in Chinatown. Loved it.
