Wonderful home-made Portuguese cooking by Dina. We were there on a Saturday night. It's a small cafe / restaurant only open in the evening on a Saturday. There's a small menu of traditional Portuguese dishes. We had a range of them, and they were all delicious. BYO with £5/bottle corkage. Fantastic service.

Such good Portuguese food! This is a brilliant place in a slightly obscure location, but well worth the detour. Lovely people, lovely atmosphere, great food, bring your own wine ..... but that makes it affordable. Highly recommended.

Went here for a friends bday and was very disappointed with the food.. Starters was cooked from frozen.. I ordered the black pig main with rib and pork cutlet.. i literally got ONE SMAL rib tough as old boots and the cutlet shone in its absence but I did get 4 thin slithers of tough pork an inch of a mushy sausage and yes an inch of black pudding 3 little baby potatoes and 12 green beans!! price on their website and charged in the restaurant differs too.. NOT TO RETURN THERE.. I had high hopes as I love Portuguese food.. but alas.. I did not complain as it was my friends evening!!

I discovered this absolute gem of a cafe, down a little side street. Seriously good coffee, I had the Portuguese equivalent of a cortado and had to order a second because it was absolutely superb. Served with a broas mel cana biscuit-yum! So far, I've just had the traditional salt cod fritters. Freshly prepared, Home made, delightfully crispy on the exterior and melt in the mouth interior with that gorgeous, classical, salt cod texture. Honestly, I've eaten tgese in Portugal and London specialist cafes and never have I had anytging so delicious! There are many more home prepared, Portuguese small and larger dishes to try. Perfect place for any time of the day breakfasts, snacks, lunches. I also saw a beautuful array of cakes including the famous Poetuguese custard tarts and orange cakes. I will be trying them all! The interior is beautiful and atmospheric. Very clean. Highest recommendation

This shop always has something to temp me! If your unsure, just ask! The staff there are a wealth of knowledge on local cheese and accompanying chutneys and treats, so friendly and their Christmas hampers are top notch! Will be back again and again!!
