The food is awful I order tuna pasta and jacket potato with cheese and beans it tasted awful cheap quality stale potatoe and salad pasta boiled with sauce added and tuna thrown on top as if it will feed animals first time and last time disgusting

Popped in whilst passing. Looked buzzing for a Sunday lunchtime. Decided to stay for lunch. Huge roast dinners, really tasty and good veggie options. Served really quickly, hot and well cooked. Great value for money. Staff really attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the beer (Windsor Eton Brewery). Nice pint of Solero IPA. Highly recommended.

Superb. Staff delightful and it’s a joy to find everything done ‘properly’. Impeccable service - attentive without being intrusive. Food delicious and set menus very good value.

Lovely cafe in Windsor, not too far from the main shopping area. Lovely full english breakfast, reasonable prices with tea or coffee included. Nicely cooked and nice ingredients. Staff were friendly and attentive. Worth a visit

Today Saturday - my hundredth trip to Heidi’s cafe. Normally first class. Today at 10.00 am salad - yesterday’s i assume as soggy and inedible. Jam doughnuts - normally fantastic, burnt and tough. What is happening , will stay away for a while now - shame

Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Remember, you’re eating a baked donut. It’s going to taste a little different. Loved it and the owner was very nice.

this place should shut down. Went for a coffee. I’m very particular about my coffee. He said i can make it v hot or give you cold but doesn’t want customers telling him how they like their coffee. Then He suddenly he said he can’t serve people like me as we are very busy. Told me to go away and shop where people like me shop. V rude and v racist. You can see how busy the place is. Zero occupancy. Not even 1 table taken. No wonder everyone avoids this place. Always empty.

The best place for a hamburger. We moved out from Ascot 9 years ago and each time we come near this place ,or even if is not that close , we have to stop to get a hamburger . This is the only thing we miss , since we left. The best place ever.

Perfect light lunch stop at outside table before catching the train home. Panko chicken was very tasty, with a choice of salads. Good ginger beer too!

The name has now changed to "The Borough" I assume under new owners although it looks very similar inside to when it was 15 Queen St I called in for a quick evening beer with a friend. There are only 2 beers on draught, Moretti and a Brixton Pale Ale. The pale ale took forever to pour, the tap looked like it had run dry. It was OK but there is much better beer to be found, even in the Wetherspoons. I offered a card to pay and did not ask the price, nor was it informed to me. The guy serving had a till receipt which he placed upside down on the bar and then appeared like he wanted to take it away straight after I tapped the pay machine. I found it in my pocket the next day and it showed he had added 10% service charge, so 2 pints cost over £14.50. Since when do pubs charge £1.32 to pour two pints of beer?? If I want to pay top money next time I'll go to the Coppa Club where it would have been cheaper and a lot more fun and vibrant.

Our favourite local cafe. The food is always delicious (shakshuka is my favourite), and the coffee is great too. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Cosy, lovely place. W

16 April....It's been shut for two weeks they are spinning a story about "being closed for refurbishment and we don't know when it will reopen"

Very misleading ! There is a wonderful lake but this can only been seen if you sit outside! As the weather was cold we sat inside and it could of been any transport cafe in England. Not enough staff lead to 40 minute wait. Tables were left uncleared and could see in to washing up area which was a real mess. We were so hungry that the breakfast and burger tasted ok. Sadly will not be going back!
