this place should shut down. Went for a coffee. I’m very particular about my coffee. He said i can make it v hot or give you cold but doesn’t want customers telling him how they like their coffee. Then He suddenly he said he can’t serve people like me as we are very busy. Told me to go away and shop where people like me shop. V rude and v racist. You can see how busy the place is. Zero occupancy. Not even 1 table taken. No wonder everyone avoids this place. Always empty.

My wife and I walked by this cafe a few days ago and popped in for a bite, specifically having seen the Mexican food options on the menu. We ordered a chicken burrito and a pork quesadilla to share between us. Put simply, we will return and very soon! The food was fantastic - we cannot recommend it highly enough. The gentleman who owns the cafe was very friendly too - a refreshing change from the disconnected service from staff in the usual clone coffee shops/eateries present on modern high streets. There is also some colourful and interesting art adorning the walls. To the owner - if you could specifically advertise/display to the public in your window that you serve such delicious Mexican food, you will get a lot of customers I am sure...please do so.

We visit often and Bite is one of our favourite stops for a breakfast or a burrito. The latter is my daughter's favourite and much better than any of the chain options. Plus the owner always gives our little dog a sausage, so it really is favourite for all the family

I utterly love Bites Burritos. It's the only thing I've ever eaten/ordered from here, I love them so much and have to order the same every time, medium (we'll its actually quite large!) With everything in it, rice/beans/sour cream/lettuce/cheese/mild salsa/ + the extra quacamole. The service is excellent and fast, the owners and staff very friendly and lovely. I missed you Bite Windsor during lockdown. So happy to be eating my favourite Burrito again 😋

I have visited Bite Cafe many times in recent years and the food and service were always great. I ordered a “sausage baguette” from the menu today, which turned out to be a stale and dry sausage ciabatta. I mentioned to the owner that I had ordered a baguette, to which he reacted angrily by saying “Our baguette is a ciabatta”! When I challenged him on the fact that the sandwich is advertised on the menu as a sausage baguette, his reply was “So what? Our baguette has been a ciabatta for over a year”. This is a clearly a lie as I have ordered the same item several times in the past year without any issues. To make matters worse, the sandwich was cold and the bread seemed quite old. As others have stated, there appears to have been a change in ownership of the cafe and standards have declined dramatically. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Unfortunately we did not get the breakfast we expected, the standards have dropped drastically. Fresh bloomer bread toast replaced by standard shop bought, guacamole with peppers now thinly spread avocado, fluffy scrambled egg now cooked in an ice cream container in the microwave arrived over cooked, smoked salmon looked like it had seen betters day, presentation poor and arrived COLD! Husbands cooked breakfast arrived COLD, menu stated 2 sausages, arrived with 1 sausage sliced in half! Where did the HOMEMADE HASH BROWNS GO? Replaced by free able shop bought! Returned cooked breakfast and they were going to warm it up in the microwave! Chef was very aggressive, shouting and raised his voice, staff rude, unwelcoming, cafe appeared dirty and for the first time we arrived to find dirty cups and plates from previous diners. STANDARDS HAVE DROPPED! It appears more care is taken on take away orders!

Well where do I start, I have used bite cafe numerous times in the past and the food has always been excellent especially the homemade hash brown on the breakfast menu, I’m not quite sure what’s happened but I’m guessing new management? Today my wife and I attended for breakfast, her smoked salmon and scrambled eggs arrived & straight away the eggs looked grey/off colour & over cooked, this was probably because they were microwaved in what looked like an ice cream container from my seated view facing the kitchen, previously the homemade guacamole was thick fresh & delicious served with kind of a homemade salsa on rustic bread, today it was a couple of slices of standard brown bread with a very thin layer of a brownish tinged guacamole, not a great start. My ‘mega’ breakfast then arrived, I did request to have my 2 eggs scrambled (glad I didn’t looking at the wife’s) to find 2 fried eggs on my plate, next I was expecting 2 sausages to find 1 sausage cut down the middle to make it look like 2, then to my disappointment no homemade hash browns just your standard run of the mill frozen type hash brown, with all that said I was happy to tuck into my breakfast, unfortunately after one mouthful I realised the whole lot was stone cold, the beans were freezing. I immediately took this back and handed it over, the lady said she would “heat it up” to which I declined as I don’t want a microwaved breakfast, at this point I was happy to just have my coffee, I returned to the table to find my wife a 1/4 of the way through her breakfast and really not enjoying it & saying she didn’t want to eat anymore, so I also returned this and explained the eggs were awful and it’s not been as good as previous visits & we would just pay for the coffee and leave. To my shock we were then greeted by a very angry chef/manager who proceeded to confront and shout at us both, I explained that we had visited many times before and the food today wasn’t to the same standard, we were told we had to pay for the scrambled eggs because we’d started eating it, this then escalated into being shouted at more aggressively, being told we’d never been seen before and to “get out & don’t ever come back” we continued to insist we wanted to pay for the coffee we had had but while the lady wanted us to pay for coffee and scrambled eggs the chef/manager continued to aggressively shout at us, he then returned waving two eggs around saying there is nothing wrong with the eggs? All very bizarre and very disappointing. The way we were spoken to was nothing short of disgraceful and to act the way the staff did in front of other customers was disgusting & embarrassing. It’s safe to say we will never be setting foot in bite cafe again.

I booked a table for breakfast today. When I got there, I looked at the menu and saw a lovely looking veggie breakfast. One problem for me is that there were mushrooms. I hate mushrooms- but no problem. I’ll ask if I could maybe have an extra veggie sausage instead of them. “I’m not sure that will be possible. Let me check!” said the waiter. After a couple of minutes, he returns and says: “No, it isn’t possible!” What? Not possible? Or do you mean you’re just too tight? Or too inflexible? I have been to so many breakfasts in my time and this is the first time I’ve ever received a “No it’s not possible” before. Food was ok. But this pushed it down a star. Maybe i should have given you three stars. But sorry: Not possible!

This place has the best burritos in town! We literally have a burrito every week from the Bite Cafe, and are never disappointed. The portion size is generous for the price you pay! But the best thing about this place is the friendly people who work here. They are always amiable, kind and open to conversation. We get a really good vibe from this place. Will always return!

Mega bite breakfast here is the best I’ve had in Windsor, been to most cafes in town and this one is my favourite. Fast service and decent coffee as well. My go to for breakfast with mates.

After being told about the wonderful burito's here i went along today.I was so disapointed with what I got, it was dry unmarinated chicken with flavourless rice, you are also charged for the guacamole and jalapeno's of which I got very few.

I live in Windsor and have been a customer for many years. I have noticed that the portion sizes and quality has been reduced over the past months. I suspect this is down to new management/owner. The breakfast has gone down hill as you can see from my pictures to what it used to be like a year ago. The staff however are always friendly and welcoming.

Disappointed. A favourite in the past. We learned it had changed hands and it shows. Breakfast just wasn't as tasty and everything so bland. Service friendly enough. Sorry won't be returning.

We eat here every time we visit Windsor. Mexican style burritos and eggs. Service is quick. Very small restaurant, so it can be quite crowded. Obviously, it is a popular establishment.

Myself and my Husband had breakfast this morning. I had the poached eggs with guacamole on toast with the homemade hashbrowns and black pudding which was fabulous and they even accommodated my husband unique request for cheese on toast with beans and 2 fried eggs on top which was not on the menu and it was served perfect. Had the strawberry milkshake which was yummy. The staff are great. Thank you. We will be back. again.

I’ve been a regular customer for over 4 years, today my partner and I head down to Bite for a nice breakfast. Well, that was a disaster! The places looked dirty, service took about 25 minutes, we were alone in the cafe!

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for a number of years, mostly for breakfast. I’d come expect fast, friendly service, a high level of cleanliness and most of all fresh, well cooked food! In the past few months standards have slipped, but out of habit I have kept going back. The past several visits I’ve noticed the tables have been dirty, even the menus are sticky and have had dried food on them, frequently vacant tables still with dirty dishes on them despite the place being quiet. The wait times to order and for food from the kitchen have increased significantly and twice (in recent months) after waiting 15/20 minutes I’ve been told that my food choice was no longer available! However the food has been fresh and tasted good, until last weekend when everything on my Bite Breakfast plate was cold. I’ve also observed they are not as flexible with customers with the menu as they had been in the past. I’ve tried calling several times over the past few weeks to see if I could rather get a takeaway but only once was the phone answered and that after a very long time.

I was recommended Bite Cafe by a friend and ordered the Breakfast Burrito.... Best Burritos I've had. The UK is pretty lame at Mexican Burritos. I travelled to Texas for a business trip in March and Bite Cafe's Burritos is 100% on par with the US.

Wow what a fabulous cafe. Came here with my family on Saturday and the food was delicious. I never write reviews, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Yes it was busy, but nothing was too much trouble. I know they were having a few technical glitches, but tasty alternatives were offered which my children loved. Everything was spotless and the male waitress/manager? was really efficient and kind.

Went on a visit this week with the family. Found this place, reasonably priced, we all liked what we had to eat and friendly service. I thought I’d let the place know we found it pretty good. Will go again next time I’m in Windsor!

The buritos were just OK, although nothing amazing, prices are not as low to be qualified as Cheap Eats on Tripadvisor... What I definitely didn't like was the service. Everyone there is clearly polish and what's funny I'm also polish and when the waitresses realised I was the same nationality they clearly changed their attitudes. As if I was some bad sort, I could feel it from a mile... Obviously that was the main reason for no tip at all, only 2 stars here and guarantee that we won't come back.

Me and my partner visit bite cafe often. This lovely little cafe is our local and favourite choice for breakfast. Fresh food, lovely flavours, delicious coffe and the best service in town! An absolute gem in the town centre.

Park at Victoria Street and walk round the corner for the best breakfast. Poached eggs, salsa and guacamole was just what we needed. Great size portions eat in or to go. Barista coffee to wash it all down.

I've visited Bite Cafe a few times now. Today again, the service was friendly and attentive and as usual the food was good quaily and plentiful. I had the medium Burrito these are on the large side and extremely tasty and filling. My son had the Bite Breakfast with the homemade Hash Browns which are worth trying as well. This is a small cafe, with an interesting Mexican twist which really works. Supporting businesses like this when they do a good job is really important unless you want to eat at 'chain' restaurants all the time. My only suggestion on something to improve upon would be to introduce a 'Bite Chilli' please. I'm sure it would sell well on these winter nights. Keep up the good work.

Last week we pop in with my wife to Bite Cafe for burrito ( recommended by my friend) I have spicy one and my wife grilled chicken. It was very taste and huge. I will recommended to my friends. The Staff was friendly and polite.

Mis suegros, que son bastante difíciles de complacer, amaron la comida y el precio de cada plato y café. Probaron la mayoría de los platos en el menú y ordenaron el doble en algunos platos especialmente los tacos. Me alegro de haber tomado la decisión correcta y definitivamente regresaré a este lugar cuando visite a algunos de mis amigos a Windsor en el futuro. El servicio fue rápido y el personal es amable y servicial, lo que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera mucho mejor.

Increíble desayuno dominical: tuve la tostada francesa con tocino y jarabe de arce, mi compañero comió huevos escalfados con aguacate en la tostada, ambos muy sabrosos y con una excelente relación calidad-precio, pero el inglés completo que vimos en otras mesas parecía enorme y valía la pena volver por ¡otro día!

There was a friendly greeting and drinks orders taken instantly. I think we made a slight mistake having omelette as when we saw other people having the Mexican food it looked amazing. Not that there was anything wrong with ours ! Very good.

We have been to the Bite cafe 5 or 6 times for weekend brunches in the last few months and I am never disappointed. The menu is varied and the portions, very generous. Staff are always cheerful and friendly and the food is served quickly. We haven’t made it to the ‘secret garden’ yet - but will do soon!

The burrito's are incredible! They also don't scrimp on size, i had a "medium" burrito the other day and it did me for lunch and dinner! The staff are really friendly and helpful. Cant think of anything they could do better!

I was overnight in Windsor and got up too late for breakfast in my hotel. So I set off walking down the street and came across Bite Cafe. I chose it simply because it had some tables outside. I ordered the standard breakfast with an extra egg and a cup of tea. It is surprising how many places manage to "butcher" breakfast, but everything about this was absolutely perfect. I have never eated a better grilled tomato. Even the toast was just right. The tea was loose leaves in a strainer that you simply removed from the cup when ready. The flavour was excellent. The whole meal cost a grand total of £7.60. I have regularly paid £30+ in top hotels for breakfast and can honestly say that none of them was a good as that. It was the best breakfast I've had in the last 10+ years and it cost next to nothing!

I regularly go here for breakfast as a Windsor local. Best English breakfast in town. Highly recommended.

We ate here on the back of reviews (as we often do) but I have to say the the food was average and the vanilla latte was poor (barely any vanilla taste). The eggs Benedict was not a great sauce and was nothing special. The burrito was nice (salsa - very nice), but not as exciting as the reviewers seem to make out. Yes, it’s cheap for the area and does a job, but delicious and amazing it is not I’m afraid.

Popped into Bite Cafe with my sister for an easy Mexican lunch and were both blown away by the food. It is definitely some of the best Mexican food we have ever had! I would recommend the burrito for lunch (filling and not expensive) and you get to customize it how you want which was amazing. Also, the spicy scrambled eggs and the nachos were both delicious. The lunch was freshly made and served quickly which was another bonus and the staff were super friendly. I will definitely be returning and have already recommended it to my friends and family.

Great little find! So glad we looked up reviews and came here for lunch after a coach trip. The pulled pork burrito was fantastic! Along with the homemade hot salsa! Would definitely return and try the breakfast! Lots of local builders and locals eating which was a good sign! Away from the tourist traps and really good food! Was just as good as a burrito I had in New York! Will be back

Called in for breakfast on a whim as we walked past and I am glad I did; it was a lovely cooked breakfast! Was welcomed nicely and assisted with ordering my daughters food, a burrito and I had a breakfast and had black pudding, rather than hash browns. I had a latte and my daughter had an apple juice, which was very yummy (her words not mine).

Having lived in Windsor for three years, I have tried most cafes/ restaurants in town. The Bite Cafe is a must if you are visiting for the day and want a fantastic meal for a very good price. The service in there is excellent although it is quite small, the staff will do their best to accommodate you if you want to sit down.

Absolutely delicious and huge. Well worth checking out after a good walk around Windsor. Great guys too.

I don't really want to share this little gem of a cafe. They are famous for their breakfast burrito But everything is very good. I've had the omelette and the burrito bowl and the Bite Benedict. I'm a bit fussy about my Benedicts but this one didn't disappoint! The eggs and sauce were perfect. Mum had a tasty chicken and cheese toasty too. And the team are very friendly and efficient. Served by lovely Karolinka. I might be moving in soon!

Visited late morning with my wife and young daughter. The fella who greeted us was friendly as was the lady who served us. I had the bite breakfast with fresh hash browns while my wife had French toast. Both were very tasty, prices reasonable, would visit again.

An excellent place to have a coffee or a snack in Windsor, really good value for money and freshly cooked food and great coffee. The staff are pleasant and attentive. Much better food than the numerous chain restaurants/cafes in Windsor catering to the tourists.

My son asked to visit the restaurant again as he enjoyed last time. Again it was lunchtime and we were promptly shown to a table and we ordered our food. If you have not been before the restaurant is quite compact but now they have tables outside. As there was five of us we had to sit inside. The food was served quickly and the quality, size of portion and price all pleasing. Standards are excellent and the team do a very good job. See you soon

A small cafe with very friendly staff, and great food at a reasonable price. Went for a quick lunch, and was very pleased with both my burrito and my partner with her eggs Benedict. Would definitely go again!

I've been here a few times and thought I should post a review as it's so good. Great breakfast and customer service. Usually have the eggs Benedict with salmon and homemade hash browns which are amazing. On my last visit I tried the eggs Benedict with spinach which was also amazing.

The coffee is good and strong. The breakfast was tasty, but I now need to come back to try the burritos. They sounded great!

I have been passed here a few times and decided to come in as their menu is a little different for what I would describe as a greasy spoon cafe. I had the softly scrambled eggs with mushrooms and hot peppers served with a small amount of bread. Very tasty. Lots of peppers and mushrooms but would have liked a bit more. Including a mug of tea bill came to £7.20 so very pricey.

Amazing food! Loved it! I'm in holidays in windsor and every single day I come there for my breakfast! Stuffs very kind! And the most delicious homemade hash browns! Very top! I super recommend!

I really enjoy the bite cafe for breakfast or lunch. The burritos are yummy and you can pick your fillings and spicy level of salsa. The service is always extremely friendly and quick. Homemade hash browns are great and it's a great place to stop even for a coffee to go. Prices are reasonable too!

You know on those Sunday mornings when you just have to have an English breakfast. Well then this is definitely the place to go.Each time we go there we are never disappointed. I always mark the breakfast we go on out of 10 and at bite I struggle to think of a reason to deduct any points. It is always 10 out of 10.Never fails to come out as a top breakfast spot.The staff are helpful and the price for Windsor is reasonable.

Family called in for breakfast......simply lush. The service was excellent..... thanks The menu is not massive which makes selection easy to navigate.

I have read so many reviews about their burritos that I had to try this cafe.I live in Ascot and often shop in Windsor, I passed this cafe so many time but never stopped as there are so many restaurants in Peacots street. But today, thanks to trip advisor, I decided I will try the so famous burrito...My daughter had tortillas crisps with homemade guacamole and freshly squeezed orange juice and i had my vegetarian burrito. I was Impressed by the generous size of the sandwich and the taste which was even better with the home made quacamole.My daughter loved her orange juice with was served in a lovely tiny glass bottle with a straw. She found it so cute I will definite return to try this time their hash browns.

Today I had a really disappointing burrito. It wasn't spicy at all, rather almost completely tasteless. Apparently people giving it 5 stars have never tasted a real burrito. Lots of room for improvement.

We visited this place last week and had been before about a year ago.We were so impressed by our first visit that we sort it out again.The staff / owners are very welcoming and it has a great atmosphere.You have to get there at the right time to get a seat because they are so popular and you get to read free newspapers while you wait. All the local workers come in as well for take-away meals as well.Walk down the main pedestrian shopping road from the castle end and just keep going, cross over a narrow cross road and it's on the left hand side.Great quality, Great Price for London anyway.My wife said "Think that's the best food I've had in a very long time".Best wishes and may your success grow.
