Once a pleasant café yet with time the café has been left to become run down and lower its standards. Food left behind from previous customers was left between the seats with crumbs and other waste still on the tables. Inside the milk jug, several layers of milk scum lined the top. A very disappointing experience for a café which used to have a reputation for providing a good service.

Had the most amazing gluten free Macaron from Heidi's, it was so good, filled with cream and jam topped with tiny macaron's on top, wow, loved it.

Lemon chicken salad £8.25 with only greens and 3 pieces of chicken - maximum of 30 gr. Service behind the counter is ok, constantly upselling. Good selection of cakes and pastry - in the past i tried they were good but today i was put off by the salad experience Probably wont be back for a long time

Staff are friendly but the Greek Salad was soggy & full of onions. A few wet cucumbers & peppers. Had to ask for Feta cheese. Nothing refreshing about this salad.

Two of our group had allergies and one had an intolerance out of the six of us who visited. We asked the very young femaie staff member at the till a question about two of the products to be told she couldn't tell us, she then immedialtey went and started whispering to a much older member of female staff about the situation. Generally places do try to be as honest as possible and if they are not sure what a product contains they will say so customers can avoid and make another choice but the service here was shocking. There are far better options in Windsor where you'll also be safe. Avoid if you have allergies - as mentioned unhelpful condescending and rude staff when you ask about a product, unwilling to help.

Heidi’s is nestled into the great Windsor department store Daniel’s. Matt’s friendly team serve good coffee or a pot of tea with delicious bites from b’fast to afternoon sweet treats. Love the great lunch special with the veggie focaccia and freekha salad!

Located in DANIEL near the station. We were very satisfied with being able to enjoy a delicious meal in such an open space. First, you order at the counter, pay, and then take your food to your table and eat. The staff was kind even to us foreigners. The salads, which were made with lots of different vegetables, were especially delicious, and I felt like I had a lot of energy.

Charming. Thoughtful. And very helpful service. Especially because my mum n dad need the extra time and curtesy as they’re both from a bygone age. Thank you so much!

Great independent cafe in Windsor. Local bakery with baking done on site. Fantastic fresh cakes and coffee with great light food options. Reasonable prices and really friendly service. Dog friendly too. We’ve come here for years and the service has always been extremely friendly.

You are always greeted with a smile and cheerful greeting whenever you visit Heidi's. Ze, Matt, Mirela and all the team provide excellent service which compliments great coffee and delicious food. The pastries and cakes are works of art and the Banana Bread is especially yummy. We regularly get our morning coffee here and definitely recommend a visit!

We love visiting Heidi’s in Windsor for a excellent afternoon tea. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The pastries and cakes are fresh and delicious, changing with the seasons to offer interest and variety. All this makes an ambience that is a delight.

I come here every week and always get the warmest welcome and great coffee. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The best Gluten free treat in Windsor! There is a real lack of gluten free food in the myriad of Windsor coffee shops. So pleasantly surprised to find a rather excellent flourless orange cake at Heidi's Its not formally gluten-free as this needs to be baked in a dedicated manner, but I have now had this (and the chocolate flourless cake) several times with no corresponding Coeliac glutenated reactions ;-)

We love Heidi's, located on the ground floor of Daniels. Our go to place for their lunch deal and my no1 spot for an always perfect coffee and fresh pastry. Definitely recommend!

Heidi @Daniel of Windsor is a class apart cafe in the town. Ambience, the crowd and food, all indeed make a great combo throughout the day. Staff are fantastic, warm & welcoming anytime. My kind of place to chill & relax over a cup of coffee. When you are visiting don't miss out on Heidi's signature cinnamon roll and the humble flapjack!!

£3.60 for a small flat white, £3.95 if you ask for oat or soya milk ! What! Penalised for being milk intolerant. “It’s because oat milk costs more “ said the server, oh yeh because £3.60 isn’t enough for what is essentially a mug of hot water, a small amount of ground coffee and a splash of milk.

The service is the issue here, specially the staff. They are rude, a couple times we were asked to return the table while we hadnt finished our food. I dont like the arrogant air they project. Clearly an u satisfied bench of staff. For the owners to consider.

Great lunch at Heidi in Windsor. Lunch deal of homemade savoury, salad and drink at £10.50. Good range, nice quality and tasty. Amazing range of pastries and cakes - went back the next day for a box of treats. Also have a small grab and go outlet by the station. Whilst you are there make time to look around Daniels - a treasure trove of a department store.

We had their mushroom garlic croissant and a pesto sandwich- both 10/10 and worth the money!

Well what a delight this place is....we had a wonderful, good quality full english, and we were not dissappinted....unlike some places in windsor that have been a constant dissapointment. We will be back regularly, as this really is a little gem that windsor can be proud of.

I found a soil inside the mushrooms. Report to manager and nothing has been done. Still waiting for the phone call from the main manager.

Delicious cakes and 5* customer service. I went by myself to pick up my Christmas order and the team went above and beyond to ensure my order makes it home in one piece. They helped me carry the cake to my car on Victoria Street, service with a smile they said🙂. Thank you, Heidi. Highly recommend them.

This is one of the best coffee shops in Windsor all the food is great and the coffee is very good. It is inside the Daniels department store at the back left ground floor lots of tables.

Wouldn’t recommend. Our salads were mainly limp and soggy. Coffee was just hot milk! Also no glass given with the can of drink. When being served, I wanted some bread to go with our salads. They had these huge baguettes sitting on the side (not for sale) and I asked if you had to have the whole baguette. Abruptly told, if you want the whole thing you can if you want!! That isn’t what I asked so just left it.
