Lovely cafe. Great food, coffee, cakes, service and whilst no kids menu, they had plenty of off-menu options for our 4 and 7 year olds (the latter of whom is vegetarian). We were all very happy and full by the time we left!

This is clearly a quality establishment, but not a customer-friendly one. Like many such places, it closes at 4 - which we knew before going in at 3.45 and were reminded of before ordering. Unlike most such places (in my decades long experience) though, it soon became clear that this doesn't simply mean you have to order before 4, but that the proprietor wants you out at 4 sharpish. We left at 4.05, without finishing our tea, and won't be returning.

As a local based in Windsor Millar’s eatery became a regular thing initially as a takeaway during the pandemic and then slowly for eat in once things opened up again. Staff are friendly and food is always spot on. Menu is kept brief but everything on it is done to perfection with an artisan theme. Since things have returned to normal and I have been commuting into London but today I was reminded what kept me coming back all that time. Enjoyed the tuna wasabi baguette and hazelnut chocolate friand to take away today…the bread is amazing. Highly recommend. They also conveniently sell coffee beans and make great coffee… Another thing they do is make cake to order. They once made the best lemon drizzle I ever tasted…if you don’t ask you don’t get…so ask.

I stumbled upon Millar’s today whilst mooching down St Leonard’s road and I’m so glad I did. We were given a lovely welcome by everyone, PoppyDog was welcomed and the chap told me they have many of Windsors pooches as regulars. And now, they have a Datchet pooch too as it was so good. I had a superb black coffee and a toasted Reuben sandwich which was delicious and served with a lovely side of pickled carrots and cucumber. We will be regular visitors going forward. What a lovely venue. They also do takeaways via a side window which did a brisk trade whilst we were there.

Disappointed to be asked to leave the restaurant to order a take away. In a rude manner, none the less. Fortunately it wasn't raining or my cake box would have been soaked while waiting for my other items. As a local, I wont be returning.

My favourite café/coffee shop in Windsor - great food especially the brownies which are (unhelpfully!) addictive, and a lovely non-chain interior & warm, welcoming atmosphere. Particularly like the fact they are a local independent, rather than a chain, it's really personal, in service, food offerings, staff & atmosphere. I wouldn't want them to work too hard, as they probably open early, but I often wish they were open till the early evening, for an after-work snack & meet-up :))They are also really supportive of good causes and are a part of the local community. Great for locals & Windsor visitors alike. Find them by going down pedestrianised Peascod St, then going straight across at the traffic light crossing when you meet a main road, and continuing down St Leonards Rd for a few mins. Well worth a visit, such a restful & enjoyable place.

This is the third visit to this restaurant and the most disappointing. The problem is the food is simply overpriced and is not that particularly special. A half chicken baguette with no garnish isn’t worth £7! My wife’s mix of four small salad items isn’t worth the near £10 charged. The staff are friendly and the cafe looks nice but there has to be a balance with value for money in this area with many eateries.

This is a fairly new cafe so we decided to give it a go for lunch. I had the shakshuka which was very nicely made although a rather small portion plus I paid an extra £2 for a very tiny amount of Feta, it was really more of an 'essence' than a portion of cheese. This was served with a slice of dry toast for £10. I had an americano with hot milk served in a teacup which was ok coffee rather than great. Another diner had scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon and this looked more like a substantial meal so I might try that next time.

New eatery in Windsor. How refreshing to find this slighty off the main drag artisan style eatery for lite lunch. Food freshly prepared. Coffee I understand blended to owners choice so much better than the standard chain coffee ! Cakes really homemade and delicious try the Walnut and carrot or indeed the almond and orange. CornbeefHash made with brisket cooked slowly overnight not a tin in sight! The ham hock and cheddar sandwich well recommend (no sliced white here). My husband had scrambled eggs - soft, fluffy just right with great quality smoked salmon (plenty of it as well).

Really nice decor, great really food, windsor has been needing a place like this for a long time, there is one big BUT.... it desperately needs some background music, its was too quiet in there so makes it really awkward when trying to enjoy your meal or coffee as you can either hear other people's conversations or everyone is sat in total silence and you feel like you are being watched, music is a must to make it the perfect place and would also drown out the sound of the staff doing the washing up. It also needs to be consistent with its timings, as never sure when it is open...sometimes its open when i walk past in the mornings, sometimes its not. Perhaps put opening times up in the window so people know. A loyalty card scheme for coffee and discount for using a reuseable cup would be good. Hope this place thrives and remains a permanent fixture in the town.

this place should shut down. Went for a coffee. I’m very particular about my coffee. He said i can make it v hot or give you cold but doesn’t want customers telling him how they like their coffee. Then He suddenly he said he can’t serve people like me as we are very busy. Told me to go away and shop where people like me shop. V rude and v racist. You can see how busy the place is. Zero occupancy. Not even 1 table taken. No wonder everyone avoids this place. Always empty.
