Ordered a selection of sweet treats delivered to our business. The scones were delicious, supplied with individual clotted cream and mini strawberry jams. The bakewell tart and lemon cake were excellent too. Arrived on time and very good quality food.

I've been to Strawberry Grove in Maidenhead quite a few times and the food has always been delicious. The cakes are perfect, with plenty of choices available, there's a good selection of options on the menu, the smoothies are delicious and the service is good, Sarah in particular is brilliant. It's good if you have children, with plenty of toys and activities available. More than once I've come away with extra slices of cake to bring home for later. I can't wait to go again.

Stopped here for a coffee while waiiting for my car to be serviced. The menu was limited due to staff shortages, this however did not affect me. There was a good selection of cakes and I was tempted to the carrot cake, which was excellent. The cafe was quite busy but the staff member was friendly and cheerful. I paid my bill and I was told they had an offer on at the moment - buy a coffee and you get the cake free. Excellent, she didn't have to tell me that. I shall be back.

I wondered into this wonderful, flowery, quaint venue, I needed to find somewhere to have my call and I was running late so got on the internet and found this marvelous place in Maidenhead, wow. Gorgeous food, I had the New York Bagel, absolutely delicious, service was excellent, I just didn't want to visit ANOTHER Starbucks, Costa Cafe Nero. I'm definitely coming back and even ordered a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagal for husband as sent him a photo of mine and he wanted one too, lovely place, keep doing what you're doing!!!

We have been coming to this restaurant on and off since it opened and it never fails to be anything but excellent. We went yesterday and it was extremely busy and they were short staffed but the service was efficient, food was fantastic as usual and the staff were polite and friendly even though they were clearly under pressure. They explained there would be a delay in food coming out because of the staff shortages but made sure we had drinks and anything else we needed until it was ready. I really can't fault this place and for those customers who were less than understanding be kind to these hard working staff who are only trying to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

My two children and I visited strawberry grove Maidenhead for lunch today and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, which is unusual with a one and a three year old. I did ring ahead to book and to advise that I would require a high chair and to let them know that I’d have a double buggy with me. Staff, in particular Sarah were very accommodating found a large table where we would not be in anyone’s way and could keep the buggy with us. When taking our order, Sarah was kind enough to recommend things for the children and be flexible with the menu options. There are so many yummy options on the menu, it’s hard to decide. We then borrowed children’s books from the little library to read as we waited for our food, which wasn’t long at all. When it came it did not disappoint and everyone was happy! All in all a very successful lunch. Thank you.

Discriminatory towards solo customers. Cafe is more focused on making money than customer service. Staff were keeping tables free for larger groups and told me to come back in 30 mins. When I went back I was offered a table situated in a crowded area while other people who arrived after me were offered tables by the side wall Very disappointing

Since we moved to the UK three decades ago, we have regularly bemoaned the stingy approach to sarni fillings. When we first arrived, the meat in sandwiches was a comically sparse with micro-thin sliced single piece. We were used to American-style sandwiches which were so packed Dagwood-style that you could barely get your mouth around them. Strawberry Grove is one of the first (non-chain, like Subway) establishments we have come across that fills its sandwiches with sumptuous amounts of meat filling. Not only that, but they feature an American deli delicacy, Salt Beef, in a variety of concoctions. I had the "Reuben Bagel" and it is the best Reuben I've had in the UK. I would love for them to go the extra step to make a "proper" Reuben with light rye bread, but the bagel version works quite tastily. As a bonus, sweet option, they sell huge, fluffy, cinnamon buns which are also among the tastiest we have sampled in the UK. I'm not a fan of the granulated sugar that they top them with, but my wife is addicted to them. If they could whip up some basic "goop" frosting, they could have a proper "Cinnabon" rival that I think would captivate even more customers. The reason for my 4-star review is their weak service. I appreciate how difficult it is operate a cafe in these pandemic times (our sun runs a great cafe in Forest Hill), but when you have a popular take-away offering, one would think that you could make the most of it. Essentially, they are understaffed. And with so many retail workers out of work, you would think they could enlist a few folk to work a few hours for some dosh. This past weekend when I went to get our bagels (a simple uncooked sandwich), there was a 20 minute queue wait followed by a 20 minute food prep wait. The previous weekend, my wife faced the same wait and after the wait, they got her order wrong.

My first order through Just Eat ended up with mud and grit on the salad. Daniel, the manager followed up straight away after I complained and was super apologetic! He reviewed and optimised the complaints process for the team, and explained that they would be extra careful during the QA check before the food leaves the restaurant. Since then, I have ordered again and the food was perfect! Thank you Daniel. You took the time to hear about my experience and take on board my feedback. Every customer matters for Strawberry Grove and it’s customer care and service like this that makes me want to support our local business during these challenging time’s!

This was a bit of a Mum's café, a couple of groups of Mums and toddlers. The decor is a bit basic; they are trying to look like a country kitchen come village tea room. I don't get the surrondings.I like going out to eat things I wouldn't normally cook at home. Here, I couldn't see anything on the menu that fitted my needs. They had big home-made cakes that screamed "sugar" and didn't excite me. So I ordered a scone and instantly regretted it. My teeth furred up, the texture being dry. The drinks menu had a range of teas and coffees. I was offered a choice of Flat White sizes so I knew it was going to come as a milky coffee. This just wasn't a happy experience. Would I go again? No

We had early lunch and the soup was just the right one to order as weather was cold. Menu had plenty to choices, and the service was friendly. I needed brunch and walked all the way across town to go to Strawberry Grove as I thought it was likely to be vegan-friendly. And it is! But not for brunch. Faced with only a smoothie as an option I asked for the avo on toast but without the eggs. It was nice - it was avo on toast. But £8? For two tiny pieces of toast with avocado? No reduction even for not having the two eggs. It was only 75p cheaper than the full English breakfast! Probably won’t try that again.

Just went an got a salt beef fromage bagel and in all honesty it was not nice, the salt beef was so tough like eating rubber! and it was sliced over a cm thick! salt beef should be sliced thin and be tender almost falling apart this was the complete opposite also a lot of fat on the meat to add to rubber texture it already had, i paid £7 for that so expensive for something that's not done as it should be so quite dissapointed as i had high hopes.

Visited on a Friday lunchtime before brunch menu had finished, fair play for still having this on until 2pm on a weekday. However the experience thereafter was pretty poor. Told no poached eggs or halloumi left, not a huge problem for us. But then they bring the meals over and say we don't have any Tomato Ketchup?!?! Now without being funny there is a big Waitrose around the corner I would have happily brought my own if I'd known? Problem seemed to be no senior people around, the two young servers were efficient and working hard, but obviously needed support or management to back them up with basic stock levels. Food was ok, a bit over priced. Won't return on the fact they can't get the simple basics right and be set for success...

I had the displeasure of this place today at lunchtime with my family. Sadly it doesn’t live up to the lovely website and menu. The waitress was friendly but so overworked, they’re seriously understaffed - took ages to get menus, drinks orders taken, food order etc. It then took 45 mins for food to arrive despite a 30 min warning. When the food turned up, my poached eggs were so undercooked I basically had a plate of clear egg white running all over my avocado and toast. Totally inedible. They included it on the bill despite my feedback and failure to eat it. I asked for that to be reconsidered and they offered me 10% off! 10%!!!! Wow. Can only assume people only visit this place once. After pushing the issue further, I got a free coffee (the one the waitress spilt).

Visited with my young children and parents around 10am. If you don’t want a full breakfast then food choice very limited. Almost no baked goods, croissants etc. Bought a rock hard flapjack for the kids to share and was surprised at £3.50 price tag. Plus they charged £1.50 each for two small babychinos. I love supporting independents but Nero with free babychinos and much more choice unfortunately suits us much more. There’s a lot of potential and would like to revisit to try the larger meals but i think with a lot of local competition, chains and independents, choice and price needs to improve.

You can see all the ingredients they use are high quality and it has some really quirky and current menu items like Buddha bowls and salt beef. I did however opt for a traditional ham, egg and chips which blew me away. The eggs were top notch and the chips were real hand cut ones which is very rare to find these days. The decor is also completely unique, clearly completed by someone with a great eye for interior design! Will definitely be back. I'll have to go and try their other cafe in Marlow now to compare!

Then He suddenly he said he can’t serve people like me as we are very busy. Told me to go away and shop where people like me shop. V rude and v racist. You can see how busy the place is. Zero occupancy. Not even 1 table taken. No wonder everyone avoids this place. Always empty.
