Highly recommend this place . We were a group of 14. The food was superb and the staff were brilliant. They were so friendly and accommodating. We were celebrating jnto the early hours of the morning but nothing was a problem We were made welcome throughout . Elizabeth the waitress had a smile on her face all evening. Thank you for making the night so special .

A genuine pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. We were 14 friends and the owner helped no end when organising. The service was absolutely spectacular, couldn’t have had better. We loved the sweet trolley. Our whole experience at The Bull was simply amazing.

No Gastro pub here - thank goodness! Like stepping back in time - classic well-cooked quality food. Nothing "hand-torn" or "pan fried". Service impeccable, staff friendly, beer and wine great and prices very reasonable. We ate in the bar and thought we were in the restaurant. Will be back to try that.

We had a fantastic lunch here. The food was delicious, the staff were so kind and friendly to us and our children, and the whole experience felt like a real treat. The restaurant is in a 1970s time warp, but very much in a good way. We’ll be back!

I had not been here for nearly 50 years, no real reason for that. However it is obvious why this place ensures. Service and food quality excellent, very nostalgic menu with so much choice, but really good for all that. I cannot wait to go back. Well done Bull at Bisham

One of the best restaurants we have been to for some time, traditional and with am extensive menu even for the set three course meal. The presentation of the restaurant its staff and the quality of the food was excellent and the cost more than reasonable. If you like formal dining this is the place for you and we will certainly be returning.

We have been going to The Bull for over 10 years and the food/service has always been amazing. Unfortunately yesterday was very disappointing. They were sooooo busy and virtually had people queuing! 1. It took a long time to take the order 2. It was a very long wait in between courses 3. I always love the veg. I had a carrot slice, a leek slice and one small cauliflower floret with no sauce - very disappointing 4. The waitress tried to serve the wrong potatoes with the main courses. For example chips with roast It really is too expensive for this sort of experience. We will go back but in the week only

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Bull Inn to celebrate a family birthday. The service was excellent and the 3 course Sunday lunch was was very tasty - great choices, everyone enjoyed their dishes and the dessert trolley was full of tempting desserts! Would highly recommend!

Our party of four friends were visiting the area and had been advised to dine at The Bull Inn by another friend who used to visit it when she lived in Marlow. From our arrival to departure the experience was exceptional. The front of house staff were very welcoming and helpful, the service was extremely good and the chef is amazing. We all had the three course set dinner menu with wine. It was one of the best restaurant meals any of us had for a very long time and very good value for money. I hope that we may visit the area again in the future as we would definitely make every effort to return to The Bull Inn. Thank you to the owners and all the staff for a wonderful evening.

Wow what a find! Fantastic service from a great team, who knew which of us ordered which dishes, nothing was too much trouble. Superb food (two seabass and two steak), huge portions and very reasonably priced from the set menu. If only we lived closer...!

Been coming here for years and enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends. It’s always a treat and the service excellent. I have to admit that Imake a better bolognaise than chef. It was pretty flavourless so I did not eat much of it. This visit lacked some sparkle which was a shame. But we left having enjoyed our luncheon getogether.

We had a booking for lunch to hook up with friends from overseas. We all opted for the lunch menu 3 courses deal. Everyone had loads from which to choose and everyone expressed sheer delight. The food was superb and the service was TOP NOTCH! We could not fault anything but were particulalry impressed with how welcome we were made. From arrival, ordering, service and other attention we were all delighted. I could tell by the smiles and eye contact the staff were very keen for us to enjoy the lunch and we certainly did. This is a GEM that must be supported in my view. Restaurants of this quality, standard and capability are very rare and we wish to use it for years come. THANKS to all the team.

Visited whilst staying at the Sports Centre and visiting Cliveden. Busy at lunch so we booked for the bar in the evening. Glad we did as much quieter and less ‘fussy.’ Cannot fault the service, the food or the ambience in any way. We opted for the mains and desserts. Lemon Sole and Chicken Kiev with lots of vegetables and additional if required. Lemon Meringue was delicious too. Staff are very professional and unobtrusive. We will return when in the area.

We visited for the first time in over 4 years. Very friendly welcome by Miguel, choice of bar or restaurant, great choice of food at sensible prices, great choice of wine. Table and service first class, whitebait exceptional as were our filet steaks. Yes it is like how restaurants were like back in the 70s and 80s and to be honest, we do not have a problem with that. Top quality food and service has over the years tended to slip but not here

Very much a last minute on spec visit but what a treat. The level of service and attention from the staff made us feel like we had travelled back in time 30-40 years. Brilliant food, way above expectations, especially the desserts where the home made lemon meringue pie and tiramisu were just superb. Great wines too, sensibly priced. Excellent all round. Our family of four dropped in just as the kitchen opened around half 5 on a midweek day in the summer and the staff at the Bull were fantastic. We had pizza, a 'Steak Bomb' (basically a big steak pie), kids meals and a cajun burger and everything was very nice indeed. Plus, the main dining room is a huge old room decorated simply but atmospherically. Ace.

Thank you for such a warm and friendly welcome and excellent service throughout our lunch. I was a party of five and three of my family were 90 and above. We had not met for many months and we all agreed it was an excellent restaurant. Thank you for going off the main menu for my father in law who is gluten intolerant, and for the excellent gluten free bread. The rest of us thoroughly enjoyed the set lunch which gave a lot of choice.My small suggestion would be to indicate on the set menu and a la carte menu those dishes that are gluten free (GF) as this would have been a bit easier on the day.

I have been looking for a restaurant to replace our old favourite in Amersham. Not been to The Bull, for many years so thought “let’s give it a go”. Glad I did, this is an excellent venue for Sunday lunch. Set price three course dinner including a good old sweet trolley. Welcoming clean white table cloths and simple flowers. Choice of starters and mains are excellent. Very tasty starter and lovely roast lamb, accompanied with veg and super roast potatoes. Made to feel very welcome and great service throughout. The main menu looks very inviting as well. Definitely will return, but not leave it so long next time.

Ate here on a recent boating holiday on the Thames. Can highly recommend it. We’d had a bad day with one thing and another, and called in to see if they had a table. We were immediately seated in the eating area of the main bar(not the restaurant), but it was a lively quaint, old fashioned pub and very picturesque. The menu was extensive, and we choose starters and mains. The waiters were lovely, and told us to relax, after our hard day. The food was fabulous and the service was silver service, which was lovely. We also had dessert, and again there was so much choice on the trolley.I would definitely recommend The Bull Inn.

Booked this restaurant on the off chance and weren't disappointed .My husband and I had the set menu for 2 courses .We had the Steak and vegetables which were silver served at the table and then we could choose from the sweet trolley fully laden with everything you could think of .All in all a lovely meal and very filling .

A warm welcome and quickly seated in a very elegant dining room. One of our party was a Coeliac (gluten free food only) and the staff were very knowledgeable about the content of the various dishes.. overall we liked the food although my wife was not keen on the coconut sauce used in a fish dish. My beef Wellington was very nice and tasty. However the bill came as a shock at £125 a couple with only one dessert. Not, in my opinion, good value

The Bull is an upmarket hotel and restaurant and the quality shows (and is reflected in the prices).A group of us – five friends – met for lunch on a Thursday in late May. We ate in the restaurant, rather than in the bar area – same menu in both areas I believe, but the bar area appeared more crowded and noisy.The 3 course set lunch (£21.95) had good choices and all the dishes were excellent and well prepared and presented.The meal, together with one bottle of wine, one pre-dinner (non alcoholic) drink each, coffees and a supplement for 2 dessert choices came to £194 including tip - £39 a head.

I have been dining at the Bull for more years than I can remember and it is always such a joy and a pleasure The service is outstanding, the food choice is excellent, delicious and served quickly, even if you feel full, one look at the lovely homemade desserts on the trolley quickly change your mindWill continue to go back and again for many more years

The Bull is our favourite restaurant, we love the variety of the menu, food never disappoints. We have been here twice since reopening. Had lunch with my cousins today as they love The Bull as well. My sole was cooked to perfection as usual and the veg is to die for. Everybody had whitebait as it is the best ever! It is the only place you can get things like white bait, sole and skate and I love the selection of veg as I am fed up with other places served one veg!Only downside was the time to place the order
