Nice traditional cafe. Friendly staff. V reasonable. Obviously used by locals which is always a good guide. Husband had a full English breakfast and I had a bacon bap.
Friendly little cafe hidden from the main area. We had tried to get into another of the town’s cafes but it was busy. Luckily we came across the Anvil on our way back to the car.

Very disappointed, says will open ‘weather permitting’ at 0800, we arrived at 0940 on a bright spring morning, but Deck on the go not open, asked when they would open and told ‘not sure they were bus
What a great pub?! Just opposite the pig and close to the bus stop, right on the corner. Outside seating, not vast at the front and not sure if there was any at the back. Big bar and plenty of places

Booked for a celebratory graduation meal. Staff did not smile, service was very slow even though it was not full. They missed one meal…. Sa we all ate ours and my son ate his late meal on his own. W
