Overrated pancakes! Only alright! Friendly staff but quite busy, so need to wait for a table

We intended to go there but it was fully booked and no room for around an hour so left!

The chicken wrap is to die for!

Always a great, bustling atmosphere. Helpful, cheerful, welcoming staff - often students (?) Makes me feel young, (even if I’m not!). Great food, great flavours. What’s not to like? Josie’s is what a diner should be like, but all too few achieve. Great place.

Brilliant food, and good service. You might have to wait a while before getting a table. You register your details to enter into a queue and get a text when your table is ready. You can easily wait an hour + on the weekends so be prepared for that, however you don't have to wait around and the app gives you an estimated time till your table is ready.

Really enjoyed this - great food - great service. With a one year old but no issues with high chair, babycinno - really great atmosphere would definitely come back

It’s delicious and filling. Girls recommend two portions for three people. The waffles are delicious and highly recommended!

Food was unexpectedly good in taste, and the environment was really comfortable and nice area it is located. Most importantly, the Josie staff member were awesome and so sweet.

Amazing place for family. Unfortunately we couldn’t choose table because they are very busy, so we had to have what was available. Food quality and presentation worthy prices and service customer. Our family recommend it.

Wow what a way to start my 2 years anniversary with a fantastic breakfast!

Our wait time was 1 hour and 45 minutes. This gave us time to wander around Winchester and have a sneaky slice of pizza 🍕. We knew there was likely to be a long wait. The food was worth the wait 😁

Insane ! Best pancakes I’ve ever had

Came in at 8:30am on a Wednesday and it was already quite busy! A good sign! I had a delicious flat white and double stack of pancakes. I was impressed by how unique the pancakes were, genuinely much thicker and fluffier than I expected they would be. The service was great as well.

Lovely place in the heart of Winchester..the piscoff pancake is a must and not too much sweet. The Flat white was great 👍🏼

Ask for seating, takes some time. Roam around winchester till then. Cosy seating. Tasty food seriously. Vegan breakfast pretty good. Pancakes are out of the world. Coffee is goooood. All in all , yum !

My girlfriend and I came by for breakfast before spending the morning in Winchester. If I could give more stars I would. Food, service and the atmosphere all excellent. Cannot recommend enough. Will be coming back again for sure.

Very efficient and good coffee, but the food is never hot enough, not even warm. Even after sending it back to be re heated it came back even less warm! Basic stuff guys, ruins the experience.

Having eaten at Josie's a number of times they are normally to the standard you expect when having brunch out, however, today I took my two children for a milkshake (stated this upon entry) - we were seated at the bar stool side near the entrance as they were busy (only one 4 person table empty) and told a table would be a 30 minute wait. 15 minutes later after two other groups had been seated that came in after us at tables (OK, so one was a two person table) we simply got up and left. Really poor service.

I was very surprised by the rating this place has and it is very well deserved. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which didn't seem bad to us since it looked quite full. The service was very fast and friendly. Everything we consumed was delicious.

We absolutely adore Josie’s. It’s always packed, which is a clear sign of its popularity. The food is incredible, and the portion sizes are generous. It’s a great value for money, especially considering its location in Winchester. We’ll definitely be coming back here again.

Excellent cosy atmosphere for lunch on a cold Christmas day. Nathaniel was very helpful and accomodating when we needed space for a baby stroller instead of the planned high chair (baby fell asleep). Everything was prepared quickly with smiling faces throughout. Food was delicious - had the chicken wrap, tots, pancakes and eggs royale. Highly recommended!

Friendly and attentive service. Quick to seat us - a family of four - on a busy pre-Xmas weekend. Careful with allergies and the food was delicious. Berry pancakes, fried chicken toastie and wraps all hearty and warming.

Lovely cafe, Christmas specials are great & staff are always friendly and helpful. Wish they did a couple more vegan options but their new cauliflower is delicious and really adds to the veggie meals you can customise 😊 Best pancakes!

Used to be a personal favorite, service, atmosphere and food have all fallen off significantly. Needs a fresh new look, needs new menus instead of the wet broken ones they gave me and cleanliness needs to be improved. Ordered a chai latte and it tasted warm milk.. now chai latte flavour at all. We joined the queue using the app and still waited over an hour... Had a lovely walk in Winchester but the meal was disappointing.

Great to have a place open early on Sunday and it was the only nearby coffee shop open before 9. I had breakfast pancakes with an egg and maple syrup that were great. Coffee also good. Friendly service. Only downside was that the coffee cups are old and scratched.

Our visit to Winchester got off to the most wonderful start as we decided to go for brunch at Josie's. Our greeting was the best. Everything is very well organised which it needs to be with its popularity. Charlie served us and customer service skills and attentiveness are outstanding. He seamlessly ensured everything was just right for us. The food was very tasty and there was a great choice. Much care and thoughtfulness has been taken with its menu and there is a great choice. Charlie is a credit to Josie's. He is knowledgeable, kind and has the most outstanding customer service skills, a true role model. Thank you for such an enjoyable visit!

We drove 30 minutes and walked in the rain for an incredible breakfast. Highly recommend. Where loose trousers as your be leaving stuffed.

Probably the best breakfast in Winchester!

Went here today with my sister BUSY but I know why! I'm got celiac and I was quite shocked how easy it was to order my food! Normally when I order out it's a worry, to feel like a normal person and a normal order is great! Will definitely go back!
