O'Neill's in Winchester

Still Maintaining the very good standards of service and quality of food after many visits Very good for breakfast. 0900hrs opening reinstated for Sunday Consistent excellent service and quality for all our visits. Staff always make us very welcome. Breakfast on a Sunday has been a regular event with members of our family COVID put a stop to that for awhile,but very happy to return once again. One large screen tv, also a number of tables have individual screens 13A sockets and usb charging points. These tables can be reserved . This should be one of the best places to watch televised sport. A very good menu with a wide selection of snacks and meals available. Service and quality of food was excellent as usual. Now a few more customers at breakfast on Sunday

My experience of O’Niels was of being pushed down into the “stage” by a crowd of drunken teenagers-mid 20 year olds and being kicked in the THROAT by the band on stage because of it. I understand that this is the fault of the “band” (I say that in the loosest sense, as they poorly replicated half decent songs) however I am disappointed that O’neills would allow people like that on stage to make up for less than half decent, overpriced pints. I am appalled at their willingness to let the lowest of the low bands on stage and will never be going back.

Whilst visiting Winchester with friends we stumbled across a quiz night in O’Neils on a Monday night so decided to enter. A team of 3 Welsh & one Canadian, we had the fortune to participate on the night there was a Welsh section to the quiz!! To cut a long story short, we ended up winning, so obviously had a good night taking home £110, but can honestly say the staff involved in setting up the quiz, & the various free shots made the night 100% better. Each round winner had the chance to win the final grand prize, with shots going to round winners too. If in town thinking you are out for a quiet Monday night, look this place up & hopefully your location will be the subject of one of the rounds!!!! Good game, Good game, as Brucie would’ve said! 🃏♠️♥️♣️♦️

We visited O'Neills Winchester early on a saturday morning for breakfast. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 5 teenagers. One of which is a wheelchair user. The pub is clean and tidy and the staff were very welcoming. There is an open lift for wheellchairs/buggys to access the upper floor. Peter showed us to our table even though we were early. He couldn't have been more helpful. Moving tables and chairs to allow my son to get to the table in his wheelchair. We were quickly served and the food was hot and delicious. We weren't there long but will definitely be back to visit Peter and the team again! Thank you!

I visited for post-work drinks and food with a group of friends. The service was superb, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We had food too which arrived quickly, and tasted nice. We also got a cheery goodbye as we left. It couldn’t have been a nicer evening.

Heaving with live music..very fun & easy to chat to people. Bar staff were excellent, fast service in a packed bar. Recommend as part of fun night out

Came to O’Neill’s for St. Patrick’s Day and was not disappointed!! Atmosphere was great, drinks were reasonably priced, and our server Louis was amazing! He was lovely, funny, and extremely helpful. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Not tried the food but this typical Irish Pub rocks under Ursula the landlady. Live music, great variety of drinks and a superb atmosphere awaits. Highly recommend 🍻🍻 Slainte
