Got into Winchester and had an hour to kill. Found this place near the station and grabbed a coffee and a pan au chocolate - both were fantastic. Multiple plugs to charge laptops/mobiles and good wifi.

Our local cafe recently changed hands to become The Cheek Monkeys Cakery. We visited the day after the much anticipated re-opening, for a Cheeky breakfast. The vegetarian Mega-breakfast fitted the bill (and filled the tummies!) perfectly. The food was freshly cooked and really tasty, with the plates being very full. The veggie sausages in particular had a great flavour. The new decor is bright and fresh and the environment is comfortable and airy. The service is fine- Hayley and her colleagues are friendly and welcoming. Subsequently to our breakfast we popped back to sample the home-baked cakes, which we'd eyed before but we're comfortably filled by our breakfast. After a light lunch we enjoyed a Crunchie flapjack and a slice of coffee & walnut cake- both of which were delicious. There's much to recommend about the Cheeky Monkeys Cakery- well worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and cakes with friends. Highly recommended!

What a gem of a place, fantastic friendly service, home made cakes and fresh coffee, im partial to my oat milk and they had that too. Set at a county cross roads where you can see on a sunny day all the toys people bring out, cars motorcycles, scooters. 100% recommend

Great food, great setting and great service. Lauren and Debbie really looked after us. We will definitely return.

Had a lovely hot chocolate with orange syrup. Lovely and smooth, thick enough to need a spoon. Not sure what chocolate they use, and not at all a sickly sweet hot chocolate that you get in other places. The best hot chocolate in town without adoubt. You do not have to be seeing a show to go into the cafe bar at the Theatre Royal in Jewry Street as it is open to everyone. I was served immediately as there wasn't a show on the day I went.

Took my mum, daughters and granddaughter for a Mother’s Day treat, we all had the afternoon tea and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was just delicious and so much of it we took some home to enjoy later. The staff were so lovely and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us, they made our visit perfect. Thank you xxx

Totally surprising place making delicious alcohol-free cocktails with extremely researched ingredients, the vast majority of them locally sourced if not self-grown. The place is like an intimate garden; the scent the choose to diffuse is relaxing and interesting. The owners are charming and welcoming, as we entered they gave us a tasting tour of their specialties!

We had the perfect experience at The Fox for our wedding reception, with 16 of us dining at dinnertime. Mandy and the team were great in advance in helping us personalise our experience and the food was cooked beautifully (starters, mains and desserts! The duck breast and the chateaubriand steak were the highlight) with so much care and attention paid to presentation as well. Service was perfect, and we felt looked after for the whole evening. If you are planning a small wedding reception meal for 20 or less guests or are looking for somewhere to go for dinner to celebrate a special occasion then this is the place to go.

We booked a table with The Red Lion at Southwick by phone a week ago. Arrived there this evening to find the place in darkness and closed. No sign the door explain why. No telephone call to cancel our booking. Very disappointed & a bit embarrassing as we had arranged this to meet with friends.
