Booked Afternoon Tea as a treat for my sister. Had to order sandwich fillings in advance from a really good selection. Perfect Afternoon Tea, had so much food had to have a doggy bag. Service was great, really friendly and checking if anything needed. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Place was really busy for an afternoon during the week as well.

Totally surprising place making delicious alcohol-free cocktails with extremely researched ingredients, the vast majority of them locally sourced if not self-grown. The place is like an intimate garden; the scent the choose to diffuse is relaxing and interesting. The owners are charming and welcoming, as we entered they gave us a tasting tour of their specialties!

Really good coffee, enjoyable atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Prices aren’t as bad as expected given it is in central Winchester, and a lot of lovely decor

Got into Winchester and had an hour to kill. Found this place near the station and grabbed a coffee and a pan au chocolate - both were fantastic. Multiple plugs to charge laptops/mobiles and good wifi.

Really enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea here , the food was really fresh and delicious, a nice variety and generous portions. It was very welcoming and they couldn’t do enough for us, the service was great. I will reccommend to all my friends this place is a little gem and will definitely come back again.

What a gem of a place, fantastic friendly service, home made cakes and fresh coffee, im partial to my oat milk and they had that too. Set at a county cross roads where you can see on a sunny day all the toys people bring out, cars motorcycles, scooters. 100% recommend

Had a lovely hot chocolate with orange syrup. Lovely and smooth, thick enough to need a spoon. Not sure what chocolate they use, and not at all a sickly sweet hot chocolate that you get in other places. The best hot chocolate in town without adoubt. You do not have to be seeing a show to go into the cafe bar at the Theatre Royal in Jewry Street as it is open to everyone. I was served immediately as there wasn't a show on the day I went.

We booked a table for date night tonight. First time we visited was 2024 during the D-Day Celebrations in the village just popping in for a couple of drinks. Really friendly on the phone when booking. At short notice we ended up bringing our booking forward as we were given tickets to a show at 7:30. Couldn’t have been more accommodating - even let us pre-order to make sure we had time to spare. Arrived to a friendly welcome. Got chatting about the history of the pub - so knowledgeable and really interesting. Sat down to eat 15 minutes early which meant we didn’t need to rush. Lovely atmosphere. Spotlessly clean. Food was absolutely delicious and first class service. Honestly, this pub is exceptional. Already messaged friends about popping back for a double-date night and will be in for drinks during the 2025 D-Day Revival weekend. Thanks to the staff for looking after us so well. If you’re considering eating here - stop considering - just book it! Can’t wait to go back!

We went for the New Year's Eve dinner, an 8 course meal with a glass of bubbly on arrival. We had a few special dietary requirements amongst us, and the staff were very helpful, patient and accommodating. The food was amazing, special mention for the the Beef Wellington, it was perfect ! Stax of Soul provided the music and entertainment for the night

A soupçon less charm ... After the extension, but quite a bit more room. Unpretentious and cordial service. Unusual and tasty Ching-chings. Some seats are nice and comfy, whereas others are made for people with larger bottoms and twizzle-legs. Food and entertainment were not sampled by your humble reviewer. In the interests of fairness and balance, some of my friends love the cabinet rooms and others do not. There, my conscience is clear.
