Lovely place, went there for breakfast whilst having a few days in Winchester, great food really relaxed atmosphere and nice people, could not recommend more highly

Lovely mushrooms on toast and mocha with oat milk! Great for vegans. Also had vegan cakes!! Family enjoyed their drinks and tea cakes

A wonderful cosy coffee shop, that also serves amazing food. Really fun decor and the staff were superb. Friendly and gave great food recommendations. It’s the perfect place for a breakfast or brunch and the coffee was great.

This spot is great for coffee and cakes. Two exceptionally fussy coffee-drinkers really enjoyed the coffee. We had a large, moist and delicious cinnamon bun, a slice of berry bakewell and a berry and apple crumble slice - all excellent. It was spacious and comfortable - and devoid of laptops, for some reason. The music wasn't intrusive. We thought it was terrific.

This cafe provides freshly cooked tasty food in a unique environment.There is so much craftsmanship to investigate and enjoy while you wait for your food at extremely competitive prices.A true Aladdin’s cave. Superb customer service even keeping my purchases for me until I returned from my guided walk.

Stopped at Projects today for a coffee and cake after visiting the Winchester Christmas market. It was less hectic than other cafes and restaurants we'd seen as it was a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the market area. We really loved the delicious brownies and enjoyed perusing the eco-friendly shop area afterwards. A lovely little find.

We organised a small gender reveal party at projects for brunch. I was able to get in touch with the via messenger as for some reason the phone I rang to was off. They were really nice and friendly. They offered 2 food options for brunch and we chose a selection of bagels and subs. They reserved a couple of tables by the window so we had our own space and could put up decorations. They food was amazing and so they drinks. Staff checked often if everything was alright and they were quite friendly. I would definitely recommend it! It such a quirky please and I love it!! Thanks again for all your help!!

What a fantastic find in Winchester! Gorgeous food surrounded by vintage and nostalgic pieces for sale. Also love the refill stations and hand crafted items for sale. Fantastic ethos and ethics along with great service, food and drinks. Highly recommend.

Brunch in Winchester is typically a stressful experience. Everywhere is so busy and the food typically mediocre because they don't need to try to get business. So happy I found this place as its the opposite to above. The food I fantastic (I'm yet to try anything that's not excellent), prices are very reasonable and service is excellent. Added bonus is its dog friendly! Tip: Try the French toast and poached pear, you won't regret it!

I love this place but didn't really want to tell everyone. The music is always good. There is a really chilled vibe and it seems to have cleverly bipassed the Winchester performance-parenting Boden brigade. The food is really delicious, great coffee and drinks. You can do some great alternative shopping while you're here. You can even bring your dog. This place is the best in Winchester in my opinion.

I use projects a lot, I will state that now. There's lots of reasons, the food is simply amazing, some of the best scrambled egg I've ever had. Another reason is the staff are fantastic, take today, during winter they had an amazing winter fruits porridge... I'm an addict. I went in today and they had gone to granola for the summer menu... I literally cried on the waitress, the lovely manger kindly made me the porridge I craved and before I left gave me a tub of the topping they use so I can make it myself at home. This has literally made my day. They are some of the nicest most genuine people I've met, and I shall continue to go for as long as they'll have me! Cheers projects!

We were on a girlie trip away and looking for brunch. We came to 4th street the food was amazing. Bagel to die for Sadly coffees were cold Needs to be more noticeable from the outside as you would walk pass it without thinking the food is fab

This very interesting shop is located in the centre of Winchester and is a mixture of antiques, vintage and a coffee shop. We enjoyed two flat whites which cost £5.40 in an interesting environment with plenty to look at.

4th Street Kitchen is set within an Aladdin's cave called Projects. A cornucopia of interesting nik-naks, antiquities, collectables, art, retro, etc. with the addition of a great little cafe serving reasonably priced breakfast/brunch/lunch items cooked fresh to order. Fabulous food - I had the halloumi and aubergine burger with hummus, coleslaw and tomato relish, which was delish. I think they're occasionally open evenings too. I would thoroughly recommend it as a place to relax and escape the bustle of Winchester. Close to the city centre too.

A little gem in the heart of town. Quirky vintage pieces, lots of lovely handmade items from local craftspeople and a relaxed atmosphere. Lovely food and great staff.😊

Ordered the avocado and bacon on sourdough toast with maca maca smoothie. Smoothie arrived swiftly while the lunch was cooked. Lovely flavours of mango, orange, passion fruit and pineapple, served chilled in glasses. Mine had a bamboo straw, son's had a metal straw. Delicious. We strolled through some of the seller spaces, such variety of craft, vintage and antique .. useful, beautiful or evocative of childhood memories. The main arrived and the flavours are sublime. Avocado was sliced with seeds on top, bacon cooked to perfection. (Last time I came, there were 3 slices of bacon, this time 2..not a problem for me but consistency would be a good idea). Support this local business because it is a rare find with impeccable standards of food, service and high green standards.

Like a little oasis, this wheelchair accessible cafe is a relaxed welcoming spot for a break from the busy city. The menu is small but beautiful with super tasty treats excellently cooked and presented. I had the curried cauliflower with coconut milk soup which was delicious. Every time we have been we have had a fab breakfast/brunch or lunch. There is no wheelie/accessible toilet (too small). There are a few small rooms with collectables, curios, antiques and odds and bods, cards etc. We love it, and so does our dog

Some friends came to Winchester and wanted to visit Project Emporium to look round the various outlets. We decided on breakfast as we had all had an early start. My bacon sandwich was fab. Loads of bacon and thick white bread, just right, my pals tried the asparagus and pea pancakes with egg on top. Ten marks out of ten for artistry and colour, however, one of them said they were slighly dry, maybe a second egg or more beetroot slush. Coffee was excellent too.

This place is heaven! Again the food was on point and the shop has evolved since we last visited. More modern home furnishings and the coolest bags, beautiful macrame and an awesome range of plants. Such a great retreat from the busy highstreet.

Delicious food and great atmosphere, with be returning on a regular basis. Pecan Tiffin is a must. We should all be supporting our local businesses!

We've been a few times but finally ate on our most recent visit and the food was amazing! Really great combinations of flavour and cuisine and great value for the portion size. All tests really fresh and original, which is a pleasant and welcome change from all the chain restaurants serving the same stuff everywhere else.

We go here a lot for breakfast. It's a little gem. The coffee is good, the food is consistently great and everything is presented beautifully. Friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere. Just lovely.

Be it brunch, lunch or a cheeky flat white and brownie, 4th Street is my go to place for a break in Winchester high Street. Great food and lovely staff! Perfect for friends or a family group.

Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing, we particularly loved the Reuben. The coffee is the best in Winchester and all the while you are surrounded by a treasure trove of boutique items!! Definitely a place to visit over Christmas to get a break from the crowds and maybe pick up a gift or two!

Just had the most delicious lunch here. Really creative menu with loads of veggie options. Go for the aubergine and halloumi burger. Yummy.
