Just had tea and cake at this lovely little coffee shop, which is attached to the church so shares some of the unique features, such as a vaulted ceiling. The tea was good and plentiful. The banana/choc chip muffins were some of the best I've tasted. All very good value for money. The volunteers running the place we're very friendly and my daughter was offered a picture to colour and given a prize for it once complete. Just a small selection of food on offer the afternoon we went, but not bad for a place this size. The overall feel of the place is lovely, including photos & historical info of the Swanmore area hung on the walls. We will definitely plan a return visit.

Lovely local coffee shop, just wish it was open for more hours at the weekends so I could meet with friends there more.

If your idea of a community coffee shop is an urn in the corner of the village hall then think again. Located in the middle of Swanmore, Barnaby's may be run and staffed by volunteers but the quality is great. An extensive range of fresh barista-made coffee, home made cakes etc. Eat in or take away. I am delighted to see that it is up and running again after a COVID-enforced break and is back to an improved schedule of opening hours...check their website for details.

Sadly shut at the moment but reopening soon hopefully. An excellent amenity to have in the village. Staffed by willing volunteers, yummy cakes, speciality coffees, hot chocolates and milkshakes. Plenty for the children, some outside seating, and a small play area for children. We will certainly continue to support Barnabys.

Barnaby's is a community coffee shop, in Swanmore village,run by volunteers. It has wifi,news of local events, great coffee and home made cakes. It has a very friendly vibe, well worth a visit!

Barnaby's is my favourite coffee shop, the staff are all volunteers, the coffee is excellent, the homemade cakes are always delicious, a wonderful place to spend 30 mins relaxing.

Lovely coffee, reasonably priced too!

Lovely place to chat, meet friends and put the world to rights. My wife and I go often and always meet someone we know in there. Keep up the good work St. Bs. It is a great place for fellowship. Brilliant link between church and people, and builds communities.

Picked a day when they shut for lunch.....! Dog would not have been allowed in. Fair enough. But unusual in Hampshire. Have been back since and again they were shut for lunch. Am I missing something?????

Just what is needed in the middle of the village. Amazing cakes and coffe etc. Only drawback it isn’t open everyday.

Popping into Barnabys for a cup of coffee and tea cake. The prices are extremely reasonable, staff very helpful and friendly, being run on a volunteer basis. The cafe is clean, bright and well set up. Well recommend a visit. Will be returning again soon. Primarily coffee/tea and snacks or home made cake. Wanted to give everything five stars, but computer only letting me put in four!

Good coffee, tea and cake, and with such friendly service, why would you want to go anywhere else?? Highly recommended for the family, friends and neighbours.

This is a lovely place to stop for coffee. The coffee is great as are the small variety of cakes to go with them (I had the biscotti). Barnaby's is run by volunteers and they have created a lovely warm atmosphere with a genuinely friendly welcome. There are tables inside and outside which is just as well as it always seems busy. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing, though it maybe useful to check the opening times if you are making a special trip out.

Had a lovely Saturday mornings lounging in barnaby's with coffee for me hot chocolate for the girls and toasted tea cakes all round. I'd been in for coffee many times but my two girls had such a lovely time , we are good night to make it a Saturday morning treat for being good at school. Great value, good quality. Lovely friendly people and relaxing place to have a coffee

Recently moved into Swanmore and what a huge bonus Barnaby's has been for us! Community based coffee shop, run by very cheerful volunteers, family and child friendly! A great plus for the village. The coffee and the home made cakes are excellent at very good prices! Not to be missed.

What a lovely little coffee shop. Run by super friendly volunteers. Coffee and cake fantastic. Child friendly, kids love the hot chocolate, they even too it up with cold milk so that its drinkable. Will be back.

Came across by pure accident, whilst looking around an area I lived in, the volunteer staff were very helpful and certainly offer a great service, good cuppa and nice cake.

What a lovely place for a coffee, tea, cake and meeting place. Friendly and welcoming for all, the children enjoy it too. The volunteers who run it are lovely too, and thanks to them for giving their time.
