Went to 'Carvery Night'. Zero ambience, spoilt by an uncontrollable toddler running around the restaurant and others at tables crying. Food mediocre. Couldn't wait to leave.
Went there for ‘lunch’ today and was served tiniest fruit scone I have ever seen, which crumbled as soon as I attempted to spread the cream on it.
Actually, I didn’t need to spread the cream, as it wa
Treated two friends to breakfast at the Butchers Hook cafe in Heathfield. Have to say quite possibly my worst ever experience at this cafe. Out of 3 orders, 2 were wrong ,one with extras that weren`t
Fantastic all fresh free tea coffee with breakfast staff always polite and greeted with a smile . Will always tell you if there is a wait due to being popular
Visited for Sunday breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. Beautifully clean, very pleasant waitress showed us to our table. Like being back in 1950’s so pleasant. Food excellent, freshly cooked and plenty
Had a lovely lunch at TPodz (at the back of the Emporium shop) - we had jacket potatoes and our daughter had the Number One breakfast. Filling indeed. Good range of food, teas, coffees too. Been bef

Knowing that the pub had recently re-opened, we stopped en route back from a walk on the forest for some drinks.
There was a good selection of beers, including some local ones which I hope they keep!
After a walk from Berwick station we pop in on a Saturday just in time (well a bit late actually but they accommodated us with a smile) to catch a coffee and cake. Pity they close at 1pm on a Saturday
Originally just went in for a cuppa but the enormous cake selection was just too good to resist! Indeed there was a huge selection of all sorts of food. Friendly and helpful staff, busy and happy ambi
