Cafe Style in Wealden

This place is BY FAR the best Coffee shop in Heathfield, and is also the only dog friendly one. The staff are very friendly and are great baristas. Asking for oat milk is totally okay and normal too

Came here with my friends yesterday evening as we heard it was a good place to go and had now opened in the evenings. Had some amazing tapas type food - especially LOVED the chicken wings and also the Camembert - we actually ordered everything on the menu and went back for more! Owners are so lovely and welcoming. Prices are really reasonable! We’ll be back.

Although it was pouring with rain and we were soaked we were made most welcome. The coffee was full flavoured and the tuna melt panini was excellent. It was so hot I had to allow it to cool before I could eat it. Their selection of freshly baked cakes also tempted me to indulge. I wished I had room for more.

I've been to Cafe Style twice and will definitely return. I have always advocated supporting independent coffee shops over the boringly generic high street chains and Cafe Style certainly deserves it. The coffee is of a very high standard and there is a good range of sandwiches and cakes on offer, all of which are reasonably priced, fresh and tasty. The service is friendly and efficient. It's in a very convenient location near the free car park and across from the supermarket so you can do your shopping and pop in for coffee and a snack. I'm hoping that in the summer they'll put a few tables outside to allow for a bit of people watching. If I have one suggestion it's that they put in a water station so that, in true continental style, we can have a glass of water with our coffee.

I have been to Cafe Style a handful of times and each time have been impressed with the service, food and drink. The staff are super friendly and we keen to seek feedback, having only just started out. I offered a few tips such as Pom Bears and milk (instead of dark) hot choc for kids; which I was pleased to see via the social media posts and a recent visit, have been implemented. The American All-Star toastie & the Honeycomb Tiffin traybakes are a particular highlight. Highly recommended, worth a visit.

I am a regular visitor to the cafe and the vape cafe upstairs. The staff and owners are always friendly and willing to help. A great selection of cakes and a fantastic cup of coffee. A great addition to heathfield.

I visited Cafe Style with a group of mummy friends a couple of weeks ago. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We asked if we could have two tables pushed together so we could all sit and chat, nothing was too much effort. I enjoyed one of their tuna toasties and a delicious hot chocolate with cream, marshmallows and even a chocolate flake! I would definitely recommend popping in to this lovely gem!

Over the last month I have visited this cafe. It is very well placed with ample free parking. The staff are friendly and attentive and welcome feedback, which can be done whilst you are there. The coffee is of a good quality and their toasties are delicious, especially the American All star. I will be going again to try their other toasties and their delicious array of cakes.

I have visited the cafe a number of times and think it is great. Nice selection of food and lovely hot chocolate. Staff are friendly and the setting is clean and cosy. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this wonderful cafe! it has a cosy atmosphere and lovely staff who couldn’t help enough. They made me feel very welcome when I came with children and you know how hard that can be! A lovey range of delicious hot/cold food, yummy cakes, they even have vegan options and the barista coffee is delicious! I will definitely be visiting again.

I have been here several times since it opened with both friends and family. The atmosphere here is fantastic, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and can't do enough to make sure you are happy. My kids love going here which is a plus for me as it means a more peaceful relaxing time! The coffee is always perfect and the cakes are to die for! Must try the brownie you will keep going back for more.

Went in for lunch with two friends and two children, we were the only customers in there. Coffee was warm, the staff weren’t sure of the cake ingredients and my sandwich didn’t come until I reminded them some 25 mins after paying. I sat and ate mine after everyone else had finished. Then, the owner I presume, came in and started to take photos with us in the background for social media without making any conversation or asking for permission, especially when we were with children. Won’t be going back!

I was very much looking forward to this place opening. A friend recommended this place on the promise of good coffee. The coffee was like warm and weak and the food was worse. It was so hot in there that the windows were steaming up and I was with a pregnant friend and a friend with a two month old!! Was expecting good things but massively disappointing. Friends have said the same. Avoid!

We went there for a Private Function in the evening and it was great fun. The cakes and savoury food on offer looked amazing and there was a wide range of soft drinks. It was crowded and quite noisy, but all the staff remained happy and friendly right to the bitter end (despite probably us overstaying the cut off time - sorry!). They cleared the tables and chatted to the guests. The cafe can be hired for private use and I would certainly recommend it. Now just need to go back in the daytime with my children!
