Lovely coffee, free pack of biscuits and the eggs are perfect 👌🏽 great service. A little gem of a place, glad I found it!! I recommend anything on the menu as it will be cooked perfectly.

A gem of a find. Lovely cafe. Good valve for money. Bit of a wait for food today but all tables were full and some sitting outside too and lunch time so expected. Would definitely come again when in area and recommend highly.

I ate here the other day for lunch and I have to say it was very disappointing. I overheard one of the chefs say they dropped a sausage and to put it on the plate anyway. The food was also very oily as if everything was deep fried. I will have to say though my waitress was very lovely and was great to talk too. The food however was appalling

WOW, WHAT A GEM OF A CAFE!!! Well I can’t compliment this cafe enough. I went here with my mother for poached eggs on toast, with a bit of bacon and a coffee each. I have travelled the world with work and I can genuinely say these were the best poached eggs I’ve ever had. Food was served very quickly and made to perfection, and I’m a very fussy eater. The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and seemed very happy which always makes the experience better. I, without a doubt will be frequenting this cafe again as it should not be missed if you have the chance. I am already planning on when I can get back there for my next breakfast.

We tried breakfast here for the first time today with our 4 friends and really enjoyed it. The breakfasts were delicious , good quality and cooked well. The girls serving us were lovely, very friendly and helpful. We had drinks afterwards which came with a couple of mini chocolate bars which was a very nice touch. We breakfast every weekend with our friends and will definitely be back. This lovely cafe certainly deserves 5 stars.

The worse breakfast I have had , the sausage was hard think it was cooked in a deep fat fryer the baked beans were horrible and as for the poached eggs they first came and were hard I asked for some more and they weren’t even cooked never again I should of listened to the person I saw in there as I went in because she screwed her nose up when I asked what it was like ..

Lacking quality and presentation

We ordered the food from this place food got to me freezing cold wrong orders . Spoke to the owner who's customer service skills are next to none and explained the situation was told that it's not true and he spends a lot on foil packaging 😂. My friend I'm sorry to highlight this to you the packaging don't do miracles you have to place hot food inside first to keep hot not put cold food inside and hope that the foil packaging that costs you a pound cooks it for you . YOUR FOOD IS DISGUSTING TO LOOK AT BECAUSE I COULDNT EAT IT !! AND MORE TO THE POINT HARZADOUS TO HUMAN COMSUMPTION . **FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE ** EVERIOMENTAL HEALTH WILL BE INFORMED .

We have take-aways from here most weekends. The food is fast food, burgers, proper chips etc. The food is always good and the service is friendly and efficient.

I’ll never go there ever again! Ordered abs paid for breakfast but never arrived. Then staff started making fun of us for sitting there EC uh the whole cafe heard. Spoke to manager who said they couldn’t find us - there’s only 8 tables.

It is a lovely cafe and beautiful location! No parking issues, vast outside seating area can be used all the time ! A new owner coming soon with lot of new idea to bring back the trust!! OF COURSE EVERYTHING WILL BE NEW !!

According to google they close at 14:30 which is not up to date but luckily I was still able to get my breakfast when I got there. The staff were friendly and the options were good, you can swap items on the breakfast like for like. The breakfast was satisfying on a cold day finished with tea. Also overheard that this cafe has been here for around 15 years but the owners changed earlier in Feb 2019.

We went for a family lunch today. There were 5 adults and 2 children. When we arrived the large table with a highchair was taken but the nice man serving kindly asked the gentleman if he minded moving so that we could sit by the highchair. We all loved our food and drinks which came quickly. It is very good service and the portions are good. The kids like the milkshakes and the hot chocolates are great too. We highly recommend as it's great value. It is also dog friendly which suits us as we like to go after a walk. There aren't many places that are so helpful. We will definitely be back.

Turned up at 8.45 and was greeted by a lady called donna. She then proceeded to ask how I was on what is a misrible morning and said would I like a warm drink. to witch was ready in seconds. She then asked what would I like to eat and if I wanted to take more time take a seat and she will come over to take my order. I ordered the lighter breakfast to witch I was amazed at the value of. my food was with me in a maximum of 5mins and was served hot and with a smile. I could not fault this cafe in anyway. It's slightly away from the main road into and out of eastbourne but with the value and service the new owners provide it's defantly becoming my new place to eat whenever I'm in the area

Shame it has been taken over , food was average and sausage very poor . Probably Tesco value , bacon in microwave so eat it quick before it goes hard

Popped in for a late lunch at 1.45pm on 29th Jan, Tuesday - lots of men near counter when we arrived who were waiting to pay - they'd had a big reunion lunch here. We were asked to wait until they'd all finished paying, which gave us time to read the very big menu on the wall. There's fry ups, sandwiches, paninis, jacket spuds, specials which included liver and bacon and many others. I chose to have ham, egg and chips at £5.50 with a latte, hubby had a vanilla milkshake - it all came to £9 which we paid when ordering. We didn't have long to wait at all, everything came altogether - it was that fast! There was an extremely generous amount of ham, which was delicious, two fried eggs - both with runny yolks and a generous amount of chips which were lovely. I really enjoyed this - see photo. My latte was perfect, hot and not too strong, a nice milky coffee, see photo. Hubbys milkshake was very generous with lots of mini marshmallows on top of cream - he was very happy with it. He would have liked a cake to go with it but there were none available as they are running their stock down - I think they are in the process of selling the business as there was a man there, being shown how to cook in the kitchen, how the business runs and hubby heard a few bits of conversation leading him to this conclusion! The mum was in the kitchen cooking and the daughter was serving. Both were being extremely helpful to one couple who were in there before us, who needed a little extra help and they were arranging to make them up some meals for them to put in their freezer, so they had some meals at home - they were being real members of the community in going out of their way to help as much as possible and that was so lovely to see in this day and age when this is such a rare thing, so a big thank you to this lovely team. We were a little bit cold inside as the door doesn't close properly, hopefully this will be sorted out soon! We really enjoyed our lunch and would recommend people to come here.

I turned up at 8.25 with every intention of having a monster breakfast, the cafe door was open so I walked in & consequently got told to come back at 8.30. Personally I'd have thought it would have been much better to invite me in, offer me a coffee whilst I wait but sadly this did not happen. Consequently I took my business to Treacle Mine & had an adequate breakfast. Farmlands Cafe might have rave reviews about their breakfast BUT a potential customer should never be turned away !

another amazing breakfast best way to start the day

Visited this cafe with my husband and two kids at lunch time. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the lady staff knew my 4yo boy and 2yo girl can’t finish the whole cup of hot chocolate each and she suggested to split one into two cups instead. We ordered Bacon & Egg Baguette and Ham & Cheese Panini, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Will definitely comeback and highly recommended this place to others.

I had the Light Breakfast for a fiver, which included tea and toast, It was very quickly delivered. Again the cafe was clean neat tidy and everyone very friendly, five service. I even left the tip

Took our guests from South Africa here twice for breakfast and they agreed it was the best cooked breakfast they have eaten in quite a while. Also excellent value for money. Great food served by excellent staff - thoroughly recommend this Cafe.

Our first visit and well worth it. We have been searching for a nice traditional café around the area for 3 years and now we have found it. Staff are very friendly, the food is nicely cooked and well presented. Excellent value for money, two breakfasts, one small and one large with tea and nice coffee came to £11.00. Beat that around the Polegate, Hailsham and Eastbourne area. Parking is easy in the street. A limited menu, but everything you need for a breakfast or lunchtime snack. Would be nice to have a choice of wholemeal or white toast, but other than that highly recommended. We will be back.

This cafe is the best around, you can eat in, take away too. When we had moved into our new house we didn’t have a cooker so we visited the cafe lots, every time we were greeted with friendly faces, we even phoned to see what was on the menu and arranged to pick it up at a time that suited us, they were so helpful we don’t know what we would have done without them, many thanks to Sarah, Julie, and Jenny. We always pop in to this lovely cafe when we're visiting Eastbourne. The menu is well priced and varied. The breakfasts are spot on and I thoroughly recommend the steak and ale pie for lunch! Staff are friendly and accommodating and you can't beat the view of the South Downs from the front. We hope to get back there soon.

We've visited this hidden gem on a number of occasions & it always delivers! It has a great range of home-cooked dishes available & it's daily specials offer variety & extremely great value for money. The cafe is always busy - a sign of its quality & is impeccably clean. The food is always served hot & by happy & friendly staff.

We keep going back to Farmlands Cafe as the food is great value and the staff are all lovely. Our little boy loves the milkshakes which are only £1 and they do kids meals for only £2.50. The adult meals are great value too and they do vegetarian breakfasts. We also take our dog with us and they always give him a sausage which we enjoys.

Ok. Good value food and lovely staff. The tv is broke though which is annoying. Wouldn't recommend the McFarmlands muffin though. Opt for the Traditional Breakfast or the porridge.
