Great staff, old fashioned diner, good food, recommended

Came in for lunch. Was told no chicken curry, no pie. No rice for chilli. Ordered breakfasts. No orange juice as ran out. Breakfasts took over 50 minutes to arrive when they did toast was stone cold. Ordered 2nd drink as first one drunk whilst waiting this didn't come for 20 minutes. Have seen busier before and had food quicker and hotter. Unfortunately won't be returning

Really great place to eat or just have a coffee or whatever you want. Highly recommend

My breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately the sausages had been forgotten which would have made it even better. There’s not really a way to complain/inform about this other than claiming the whole thing didn’t arrive which wouldn’t be true. Great grub though.

We ordered the Big One breakfast for 2. Arrived and ordered at 10:15am didn’t get our food until 11:15 am. We appreciate that sometimes it may take a while if there is a lot of orders however we did not expect it take an hour for the food to come. Wish they asked how we wanted our eggs done. Mushrooms was a little dry, they forgot the bubble and squeak on our dish but by the time the food came we didn’t want to bother asking for it. Not too sure if they are under staffed in the kitchen but they may want to consider this as I could also see everyone around us getting a bit restless waiting for their food too.

Ordered through uber a few times & I've never been disappointed. Big portions, cooked well & always hot when it arrives! Plus Packaging is on point for delivery. Found my new favourite breakfast place.

Popular café offering typical breakfast and lunch type menu. Food freshly cooked and reasonable prices. Good value.

While the food is tasty we were missing chips, extra slice of fried bread and 1 sausage from the breakfast special

Two ceoliacs in my group of 9. I asked if the chips were gluten free only to be told no. I went to speak to my family and then went back in to ask what was gluten free. She replied ," I have already told you the chips arent". We got the impression we were being a pain and after being told " well tell me what you want and I'll tell you if it's free or not" with a terrible attitude, we said not to bother and left. She really couldn't wait to see the back of us. I pity ANYONE with any other dietary requirements other than the " normal". They need to drag themselves into the 21st century!!!

Breakfast was delicious. Maybe a little bit too greasy for my liking. Tomatoes, bacon and mushrooms really nice! Def will order again++

We have ordered twice from here now and will keep ordering. My husband loves the Omelettes. Food still hot when arrived despite being a little further away than other diners. Love the emoji on the lids, makes us smile 😁

They cook the best Breakfast at a very reasonable price. They are super friendly and the place is spotless. I can only recommend.

I was very disappointed with the food i ordered. The lamb was carved too thick and not as tender as expected and the roast potatoes were over cooked and too hard on the outside.

Come here often with friends and it is in my opinion outstanding. Staff are very friendly. Food is very good. Service is very quick. I highly recommend Bay side diner.

Had an order delivered from here and it was hot, well cooked and tasted delicious. Asked for my eggs to be runny and that is exactly what I got. Will definitely be ordering from here again and will also be telling family and friends that if they want a really good breakfast then this is the place to go.

Very disappointing service, considering we ordered early morning for food to be delivered at 3pm. At 3.15pm no notifications, rang restaurant, told that it Just Eats fault as no driver was assigned and therefore the very dismissive young woman said they won't cook our food till a driver is assigned, and basically said she didn't care. Considering it was a two course meal for five people, surely it would of made sense to be cooking it ready. The driver waited for half an hour at least for the food, so when he arrived was quite rude, on his phone, placed food on ground and walked away. When we said thanks, the reply was a very gruff "yeah whatever" Really disappointed, was a birthday treat, which sadly spoilt the afternoon, the potatoes on the roast had obviously been kept warm for a very long time. Not had a problem with Just Eat delivery for a long time, and certainly won't be reordering anytime soon.

We were so impressed with our Sunday Roast last week that we ordered it again and we were equally impressed. Tender meat, tasty gravy, perfect roasties, Yorkshire pud and veg that WASN’T overcooked! Perfect size portion and each meal served individually in round, strong tin foil containers that kept everything hot. We didn’t even need a plate - bonus! 😃 10/10

I just wish your drivers would use the actual address not just the postcode, he rand and even after giving instructions he went to the wrong house. I recommended he use waze rather than just a postcode that applies to our whole road.

This place is an absolute joke! We requested two take away bacon baguettes with the bacon well done. The girl serving told us “Sorry, we can’t do the bacon well done.” I asked why not…”because it takes too long on the grill.” If you want a cooked breakfast, don’t come here…it takes too long for them to cook one apparently! Ridiculous.

My salad was very fresh and arrived quickly and enjoyed it very much thank you and will order again and well recommended

Driver got lost. Tried make me come to him. Once convinced come to my actually address food was cold and he did not even apologise. Food is nice so feel bad for restaurant that driver was not good.

Popped in for Sunday lunch later in the afternoon - Understandably not all items left on the menu but what we had was brilliant. Very well cooked, lovely and hot and perfect.

Prawns well shrimps is being generous were dry overcooked went straight in the bin, jacket potato was cold half cooked, chicken strips still pink in the middle. Overpriced waste of money

I paid £1.20 for extra bacon and I got 1 slice of bacon (which was tiny) what a waste of money! The food was cold. Really really disappointed. The hot chocolate was really nice though.
