Excellent food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Quality produce in the shop too. Worth a detour!

Castle Cottage Tearooms is fabulous! It has a very relaxing atmosphere and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We had lovely toasted sandwiches and the most delicious Victoria Sponge Sandwich! They have a very cute curiosity shop! Would highly recommend.

Jarvis Brew is a hidden gem. The coffee is fantastic and there are always a wide selection of pastries, cakes (inc. gluten free for a pal of mine) and even bacon rolls, freshly made, for my always eating sons! I am going to make this a regular stop for my morning routine.

Found this lovely cafe by chance on a journey between Tenterden and Hastings. Excellent value and great quality food. I particularly liked the extensive food options and the idea that you can build your own breakfast as lots of places no longer allow you to do this. They also cater for vegans and customers with allergies and intolerances. Very friendly and great service. Will definitely be back 👍

I love this little cafe they really make you feel welcome and the food is lovely!

Looks closed one the outside but walk in during opening hours to a warm welcome. With a huge extension on the back there's plenty of space. Light lunch menu. I found it quite noisy even though half the tables were empty.

My wife and I (and dog) had lunch there today. So pleased to find this lovely cafe. Excellent fresh food. Good variety of food. VERY CLEAN. Lovely friendly ladies. Dog friendly. Close to carparks. I'd thoroughly recommend it.

4 of us had a great meal here last Sunday evening. Friendly, attentive service and great food. Really nice pizzas and a great pistachio tiramisu!

Greeted with the grumpiest young woman behind the bar really didn't wanna be there and just made us feel very unwelcome. Then served by an older lady who again was very grumpy really didn't feel welcome if you wanna feel like you shouldn't be somewhere visit this pub

The Poppy Seed is a lovely little bakery, it sells baked in store bread, rolls sandwiches & scones but very limited in the choice of cakes.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but we love visiting this place, especially when it's sunny and warm. We have our ritual (my fiancé and I), Fridays for sausage rolls and the rest of the week just for a flat white and an almond croissant and a nice view.

Friendly atmosphere and Suzanne the owner was most welcoming. Enjoyed browsing the wide selection. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Pastries we bought not to our taste: oversweet, bicarbonate flavour, soft (limp) not crisp…

Superb toasted bacon & Sausage bap. Tasty Coffee, served with a beaming Smile as ever.. A++
