Geo's Coffee House in Wealden

Impressed. Staff really pleasant!

Well, that was disappointing. This was my second visit, the first time I had a cornish pastie which was not great, all pastry and little filling. So I thought it was most probably bought in so I'd go back and try produce produced on site. Mmmm Firstly, it's the first time I've ever had a smoothie made with milk! it reminded me of Nesquick when I was a kid. Though the Nesquick had more flavour. As to the Spicy Deli Pannini it was so disappointing. The bread was 90% of the dish. from my experience of deli and coffee shops it's normally 1/3 bread, 1/3 filling, 1/3 bread. The flavour was ok if you ate the top piece of bread separately. Its a shame as the venue and service are very good, just badly let down by the food.

Selection of food is quite limited. Can get noisy especially school time.Coffee made fresh and brought to your table. Village people meeting point.

Such a lovely cafe, fresh coffee & cakes - small menu which is perfect as I know everything is always freshly made. all you need from a coffee shop with the best homemade cakes and pastries and paninis. Always a great atmosphere, no wonder they’re always so busy :) will definitely keep returning.

Lovely place to have a coffee/spot of lunch. Great that it is in the little village and the service is fantastic. Look forward to seeing it expanding more

Such a gem!! My friends I studied at Herstmonceux Castle last year and this was our favourite local café. The staff were always very kind and friendly, and the drinks and desserts never failed to hit the spot. The space itself is very cozy, cute and clean, the ideal spot for a coffee with friends or an afternoon study session. Can’t recommend Geo’s enough! :)

Love this cafe. Basically it's got a lovely atmosphere, friendly inviting staff who go out of there way to accommodate you and nothing is too much trouble. Have taken lots of friends and family there because of these reasons.

Superb transformation from a pub to coffee house. Lots of space. Great coffee and sausage rolls etc. Nostalgic visit was well worth while

We stopped here for a coffee while in the area. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the coffee was very good. A spacious coffee shop with a relaxing atmosphere. We will return!

We are very lucky to have such a lovely coffee shop in our village. Super friendly staff, great coffee and delicious homemade cakes. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they have no baby changing - such a simple thing to put in place, which would give parents the ease of not having to change their baby on a toilet floor! (I really don’t understand why places are even allowed to not have baby changing facilities!)

What a gorgeous place to have coffee! Visited this morning with my other half and 3 kids. Staff were amazing (3 ladies and a guy), super friendly and quick service. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Would genuinely consider driving the hour from ours to have coffee and cake here again. (great paninis, too. Keep up the great work guys!

This is a really nice place to have coffee and cake and light lunches. People are very friendly. Food is very well presented and would definitely recommend.

This is the nicest coffee shop I have found, staff are always super friendly, helpful and awesome, food and drink is amazing, honestly I'm so happy we have this on our doorstep. My kids get gift vouchers and enjoy coffee dates with their friends after school and they are treated brilliantly. Prices are good. This is my go to place to meet with friends and enjoy a good atmosphere.

loved Geo’s before it moved to its brilliant new location just a little further down the street, love the new space, really friendly staff and the coffee is worth the trip every-time , cakes were delicious before so have no doubt as tasty now but yet to try

Very nice coffee, but a very noisy place

I can't remember last time I went to a café and would be so satisfied! Although I have complex diet they have been able to make me amazing vegan panini's full of flavour and I end up staying for couple of hours as it was so comfortable and chilled! I had some chai latte with oat milk and peach lemonade later and I would say what and amazing surprise in this small village of Hersmonceux! First visit and definitely not last! Thanks a lot to a friendly team who took great care of me.

Recently opened coffee house in Herstmonceux village. Great selection of food and drink at reasonable prices. A great addition to the village.

The most legendary coffee shop around! They have given my parents a reason to leave the house on the weekend for a good 2 years now, so they are all like a very much loved second family <3 Great community, great coffee.

A perfect coffee shop for our lovely village! I am working my way through the menu have tried many items and loving the frappes now its summer they go down a treat if you haven't had one it's a must! The loyalty card scheme is also brilliant makes you come back for more to fill it up for a free drink! Staff are always so kind and happy too and really nice towards my dog (who's waiting for a puppachino drink to be added to menu haha 😄) we love everything about geos! Well done 👏

Passed this coffee shop last week , it is the new business that has taken over a pub near to where I used to live ..I decided to meet a friend there this week to try it out . I really am impressed , from the super friendly and knowledgeable staff ( all credit to everyone ) to the unfussy but delicious food , lovely coffee and good selection of cold drinks , this was an absolute gem to find . The decor is bright and welcoming and there was a lovely vibe in the place . The clientelle was a lovely mixture from young to older people and the place was nice and busy which I am thrilled about for the owners ..so often these things can not be appreciated by people who fear change . Will definitely be going back . I loved it.

Geo’s coffee house is so lovely!! The staff and owners are incredibly friendly! It’s somewhere you can very comfortably go on your own, read a book or watch your Netflix show while drinking a delicious coffee! I spend whole afternoons in there and it feels like a home from home! I’m a very anxious person and I struggle to go places on my own but I always feel completely at ease in Geo’s! I highly recommend!

We visited Geo’s on Saturday with our 2 little dogs too!!! George is so friendly & it was a real pleasure enjoying our lunch whilst chatting to both him & other customers. The coffee absolutely beats all the usual chains of coffee shops. It’s so smooth & perfect in taste, the paninis & delicious cakes went down a treat too!!! The cafe has such a relaxed ambiance, we could of happily stayed there until it closed. Even the dogs were content getting plenty of attention from the other customers!!! George, carry on what you’re doing. Your cafe is a real treasure. Thankyou!

A sweet little coffee house right in the middle of Herstmonceux shopping area. There's road parking but as its busy I opted for the carpark near the public toilets. Glad my friends had reserved a table as there are only two tables available. There was a constant flow of customers popping in for takeaway I noticed. Obviously popular with local residents. We all enjoyed our pannis, they were soft and delicious fillings. We couldn't leave without sampling the cakes. I tried the cherry and almond which was delicious. My friends had the brownies but were slightly disappointed as they had more of a chocolate orange flavour which wasn't to their taste. Really great customer service too, polite and helpful chap.

Called in on our way from a visit to Herstmonceux Castle. Excellent coffee, cakes and paninis and above all such a friendly welcome from the owners. All the right reasons to support excellent small outlets like this.

This place is a little gem! I visited for the first today and was given a really warm welcome from the friendly owner. The coffee was seriously good; it's nice to find somewhere local and independent that makes a good brew. Can recommend the pumpkin spiced latte at this time of year. ;-) Also really good with children. Will definitely be returning!

Popped in after a cool walk around Herstmonceux. We tried the White Lotus Biscoff hot chocolate and..WOW!! We made the best choice. Panini was great too and who doesn't like carrot cake! George was welcoming and friendly. Pop in you won't regret it.

My partner and I were staying locally and popped in after a walk around the area. We ordered the Lotus Buscuit White Hot Chocolate..... My golly gosh, it was AMAZING! Victoria sponge cake was delicious too.

A lovely coffee house with a variety of different drinks- both hot and cold. The homemade cakes are delicious and it's great that nearly all his products are supporting local businesses. Brilliant service every time, would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place with friendly staff. When my daughter moved into the area we tried this fantastic little place and everything was wonderful. The coffee was lovely as well the cakes. And the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Friendly service, tasty food and Covid safe set up with a small outside patio . Note, there are a couple of steps up to the shop but the patio area is level access.

Stopped off for a walk through the village. Although only takeaways at the moment we were able to sit outside to eat and drink. Delicious cakes on offer...I would definitely recommend the Jamaica ginger cake. Coffee was really flavoursome too. Staff lovely and very friendly....

Super little coffee house run by George in Herstmonceux next to Natural Beauty by Zara. Young lad serves excellent coffee and amazing home made cakes and biscuits. He is a delightful welcoming young man and I would give his coffee 10 stars. Why not have a takeaway coffee and then go next door and have a wonderful Beauty treatment....I do every month x
