Jarvis Brew in Wealden

Jarvis Brew is a hidden gem. The coffee is fantastic and there are always a wide selection of pastries, cakes (inc. gluten free for a pal of mine) and even bacon rolls, freshly made, for my always eating sons! I am going to make this a regular stop for my morning routine.

Had a difficult experience in here, one of those very rare occasions when the owner is not in a good space. I made a mistake with parking my car in the wrong place and I did make a comment that the £4.10 for an oat milk latte felt expensive to me but maybe it is normal. It was very early in the morning and having slept in the car, wanted a good coffee and experience. Anyway, now I know his name, Gary, and his rudeness was unacceptable. I take my responsibility for parking poorly and voicing about the prices but I hope Gary can admit he was out of order also. Coffee was very good, though and all the food looked great! Had tuna pasta salad as a takeaway lunch was absolutely delicious,lovely fresh ingredients peppers, onions, sweetcorn in a creamy mayo sauce. Thank you .

Fabulous coffee and great conversation

Jarvis Brew is an amazing coffee shop, the staff are always polite and friendly and the coffee and food is great quality and value for money. One of the many things I miss from when I commuted to London regularly is coffee and a chat @ Jarvis Brew before heading to get the train.

What a lovely little place this is. I nipped in here the other day for a coffee and bacon sandwich before catching the train home after visiting a friend in the village over the weekend. Excellent food, very clean and the staff/owner were just lovely. What a little gem this place is.

There were four of us who piled into the coffee shop with our luggage after our train had been cancelled. The hour we waited really gave us a glimpse of what a gem this place is...apart from good coffee and food (catering well for vegans in the cake department) Gary and the team seem to have turned it into a communty hub. Banter with the regulars, offers to help some elderly customers and staying unfrazzled and super nice when my friend tipped her coffee over and it went all the way down the window. Top marks.

A great lunch spot! Love a quick hot lunch. I bought a burrito and curry for takeaway and YUM. The gentlemen even opened the door for us on the way out which was an extra touch. Will be revisiting.

Always use when I have to take train up to London - am always rushed but the staff are so friendly, even giving me a mask when I had forgotten one, and the coffee and snacks are good quality,

This is without a fought, one of the best coffee shops I have ever been. I am constantly looking for a good cup of coffee and this place hasn't disappointed. The latte that I had was excellent. Staff super friendly. Absolutely excellent, really recommend it.

Amazing food best staff and lovely coffee

The Jarvis Brew is such a gem to have around the corner. Imagine the amazing smell of freshly ground coffee beans and how so often the taste of the finished product is rather disappointing in comparison... Not so here. This is exactly how I want my coffee to taste. And the cakes are simply devine. Their vegan mulled apple cake is a must try - I'm addicted!

I have the pleasure of being a neighbour of Jarvis Brew. The food, coffee and service is amazing. Fresh well priced and delicious. Highly recomend the breakfast wrap to which i lost my v plates with today and will certainly be going back for more. Well done team!!!

Great staff great food and some excellent drinks

Love this place ,call in most days ,they serve the best coffee and have tried quite a few meals,my favorite being chili and rice . Love Emily as she always has a smile and a very good barista . The owner Gary is one of my favorite people ,heart of gold and always attentive to make sure you (the customer ) is always happy .

Good coffee and a friendly welcome, even early in the morning!

Stopped a few times, owner has a lot of regulars he spends time with, sometimes not paying attention to other customers. Coffee is good and cakes etc are just the same as any other cafe. Toasted sandwich was okay. I wouldn’t rush to stop here as there are better places for the same price.

I got a really good first impression of Javis Brew when i popped in for the first time a few weeks ago whilst waiting for a train, the place is nice and clean, smells good and the food on display looks really tasty. The people behind the counter are really friendly (and not forced) and are a credit to the coffee shop. I will be returning..

Faultless. Best coffee in Crowborough by a mile, great food, friendly staff and atmosphere. Breakfast, hot lunch, sandwiches and amazing cakes. Closes at 2pm but well worth seeking out if you're remotely in the area. Right next to Crowborough train station too.

Early for my train , stopped off here, and was surprised at the selection of beverages and food sold. Lovely salads , delicious looking cakes and brilliant coffee, what’s not to like . To eat in or take away . So handy for Crowborough Station . Beginning or end of your journey .

Stopped here for coffee before catching train to London. Very friendly. Good coffee and range of sandwiches etc.

Popped in whilst my car was being serviced . Take away coffee was well presented in a decent heat protective cup. Latte was a good temperature with correct amount of foam. Interesting chat with the owner who was a really friendly and genuine guy . All the staff seemed cheery and happy to be there . Little hidden gem and well worth supporting as an independent coffee shop .

Best place for coffee in Crowborough

Love the food and coffee, always severed with a smile, excellent home cooked taste for the food, mainly to take out but does have stools and counter where you can sit and eat. Open early for some commuters (but sadly not for the 05:30 ones !!! who can blame them). Recommended.

Good coffee (including iced), lovely cakes including gluten free and vegan. I will be back for the GF chocolate slice. Freshly made sandwiches etc. Take away plus a few stools to sit in. Staff are always friendly.

A exceptional coffee shop serving quality food from porridge and soups to fresh panini and fresh salads made to order. The coffee is great and the smoothie and milkshakes are refreshing. I highly recommend a visit if your in the area!

Calling in regularly at present. The coffee is excellent coffee, the staff are very welcoming and friendly and are happy to fill my own take away cup. I try to avoid eating but the cakes and slices always look so tempting that resistance is useless. Delicious!

Great coffee shop right by the station, always a happy and quick service. I normally grab a coffee here before going up to London and I've never had a bad service, the food and pastries available at the counter are very tempting and when I have treated myself it never disappoints. Jarvis Brew have a card point system so for every 10 stamps you get a free coffee which is a nice loyalty system they have.

Sometimes unusual in the UK, the nice girls in the Jarvis Brew team welcome you in a really friendly manner, with great customer service. The coffee is brilliant, as is the porridge with banana. Closed on a Saturday, but open Mon - Fri until early afternoon. We will return !!

I love good coffee and Jarvis Brew have the best coffee ever and I must admit to being a sausage roll connoisseur as they are my weakness, I have spent money on some real bad ones in my time, but Jarvis Brew have one of, if not the best, I have ever had. Good home cooked food using local ingredients. Who could ask for more. The cheeky home baked Granola Bar and Rachael’s hot Spiced Apple drink that I took to go, made a perfect Autumn treat for the afternoon. Although I confess it didn’t make it much past lunchtime ooooops :)

Food and coffee are excellent. The sausage in a bun is great value and very tasty. You need to try it.

Gary and Rachel are great and their coffee and snacks are the best crowborough has to offer. Their little coffee house makes costa pale in comparison. I would rather make the extra drive from town to get decent coffee and great service! Try the piccolo, fantastic.

I had a shunt outside and the staff could not have been more helpful, sympathetic or kind! Oh yes and their tea is very good. Thank you guys. Recommended for a pop in !
