Pastries we bought not to our taste: oversweet, bicarbonate flavour, soft (limp) not crisp…

The most delicious cakes and biscuits!

Went in for two teas but saw there hot pastries, I was always told to try a sausage roll from a new bakery you find, you can tell a lot from a sausage roll, and these were delicious and so was the jam doughnuts and pasties these were full of filling and the pastry melted in the mouth, the staff were polite, helpful and friendly

Purchased a fantastic Birthday Cake for our daughters 16th. Great communication and pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

This is a brilliant local bakery. The service we receive every time we visit is 5 star. Zoe always makes a lovely fuss of my little one. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The sandwiches they make are huge with plenty of filling. The cakes are delicious.

After a bad visit at hailsham truffles came back to our usual Heathfield truffles very lovely service by zoe the manager , stacey and Stella very tasty hot food and yummy cakes lovely to sit outside with hot drink and people watch

Horrified to walk into this bakery today to find the manager berating another local business. Local businesses make our community, it is my understanding that they stand together to make life better for our community. Shame on you! Will not be returning, will buy our bread at Sainsbury’s.

Nice little bakery that serves hot drinks, hot food, pastries and biscuits. Can't eat inside as it's too small but has 4 outdoor tables to sit at.

Great to have Truffles in town. Excellent selection, well presented and the whole shop has a fresh feel. The team Zoey, Stacey and Nic, are always helpful and friendly. Recommended ++++++++++++++++++

Recently ordered a triple chocolate layered sponge birthday cake for a 60th birthday. The cake was beautifully decorated and looked amazing and tasted just as good with light sponge, not too sweet icing and the most gorgeous macarons. Thank you for the delicious cake but also the extremely helpful staff. Truffles is a real little gem of a bakery.

Such a fab little place, took my mum there to grab some lunch, great jacket potato’s, super soft crusty rolls and THE BEST homemade gluten free bread! They kindly gave my mum a loaf to try for free!! She says it’s the best she’s ever eaten! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
