The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wealden South East

Debbie took care of us yesterday for a much needed lunch - wow! Amazing service and surely felt the southern hospitality. We started with brussel sprouts and fried pickles. For entrees we got fish and chips and the smashburger special. All amazing food but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! Debbie really was the sweetest and made sure we had Arnold palmers to go for the hot day :)

So sad to see Buckler's has now closed. We used to love coming here, way to regularly!!

First visit with family for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it! Arrived at 1pm, found seating easily (dog friendly too). Ordered from the counter, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich, fish finger sandwich and bacon and brie panini, two mugs of tea and a water. All arrived quickly and presentation was well executed, side salad and pot of crisps. Condiments available from the counter. Staff were friendly and attentive, a nice atmosphere with lots of customers coming and going. Nice and clean, cannot fault anything. Highly recommend !

I didn't go too Burwash I went too wadhurst. I very cheekily asked if they were better than the Moby Dick as the twice I e gone there the food was awful so the lovely young guy said YES!! SO HE WAS RIGHT!!! THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE SEEING YOU AGAIN AND MY APOLOGIES FOR BEING CHEEKY!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING FROM HERE 5 STARS FROM ME!!

As a stop gap from our hike, this amazing little place was a very welcome sight. We sat outside in the beautiful garden terrace with its own “tiki bar” area. Staff were all super friendly and helpful, even when we decided to change seats! The food! Wow! Seriously nice, great service too. Highly recommend this pub, will definitely be back to visit!

Welcomed warmly, served well and food excellent. Menu interesting, with a good mix of local and not so local dishes. Venison liver on the specials board a real treat.

Fantastic food, very reasonably priced considering large portion sizes. I had the main recommended by the waiter and it didn’t disappoint. Will return.

What a little gem of a cafe, well worth a visit. They make amazing coffee! Very friendly.

This is my favorite tea shop. I love the rose cake and the scones are my favorite. They are so delicious. I want to go there every day. I am happy every time I visit here with my husband and my dog. The atmosphere is comfortable and the cake is delicious. The taste of the tea is good.

A spontaneous visit as we were in the area, but I’m glad we stumbled upon this cafe, a lovely place, friendly staff and a fab breakfast. I had the garden breakfast which was delicious, friends had the full english which they enjoyed. If you are in the area it is very much recommended. Dog friendly too. Great for walkers.
