Food is great. Get there for 8:30 if you want a peaceful breakfast. It gets very busy from 9:30am

Finished the night here after visiting a few pubs in Portsmouth. All I can say is you need to pay a visit to experience it. Had a great time with some great people. The pub has brilliant decor making it feel nice and cosy. A real mix of customers, young and older. We will definitely be back on our next pub crawl in Portsmouth.

Booked a table for 20 people for my birthday on a busy Saturday and the service was excellent, really attentive and didn’t have to wait long for food at all! My fave Southsea pub for food :)

For my wife’s birthday, we decided to try Rapscallions, a pirate-themed restaurant, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fantastic—dim lighting, nautical décor, and a fun, lively energy that really made it feel like we’d stepped into a pirate’s hideout. The food and drinks were excellent, with a well-thought-out menu that fit the theme while still delivering quality. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The drinks were just as impressive, with creative cocktails that added to the experience. The staff were friendly and added to the fun, making sure we had a great time. Whether you’re looking for a unique night out or just some great food in a lively setting, Rapscallions is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back again for sure. Special mention to Grant our host/bartender who was friendly, fun & played some great music.

Frequently visit Moggys as the breakfast are superb and the staff are always so lovely and welcoming. No place better.

My wife and I used Sweet Cakes to provide the cake and cupcakes for our wedding last year. Throughout the whole process, Chris & Ali were very friendly & helpful. They listened to our requests and created a design which we were very happy with. We had a couple of queries along the way and they were polite whenever we needed to speak with them. Not only did the cake and cupcakes look incredible, they tasted just as good as they looked. Genuinely some of the best cake I've ever had, if not the best. Thank you to Sweet Cakes for making this part of our wedding so so easy. Amazing quality service, brilliant cake and very competitive pricing too. We'd highly recommend these guys for your wedding cake needs, and they also have brilliant cupcakes available in store.

Horrible manager (assumed). Extremely rude to her staff and customers. Wouldn’t serve customers because we had different coloured ID licences (green and pink because some drive and others don’t). Very weird behaviour. We were very polite and respectful and she didn’t apologise or have any respect for us or the other bartender working. (She was lovely). Will NEVER be returning and will make sure everyone I know knows how horrible she was.
