Visited for a quick coffee on 6.11.24. Excellent coffee best we’ve had in a very long time. Surroundings very clean. Would thoroughly recommend. Will be back again.

We'd heard about The Tinker's Granddaughter through a friend and so decided to try it out for ourselves and booked the Sunday Roast Club - we were not disappointed! The service was friendly and welcoming and the food was incredible. It was our first time trying Juicy Marbles steaks and I have to say, they were the best meat substitute I've ever had. The only downside was that the room was quite crammed. We ordered first and by the time our food was served, people were still queuing right behind us to order theirs - which I understand is unavoidable but did hinder the experience a bit. I also treated myself to a tiramisu to take away, which again was the best plant based tiramisu I've had. We loved the experience so much that we've already booked again for June!

Charming, cozy little coffee shop in a lovely location on the high street. Staff are friendly and efficient but I found the prices to be a bit too high. It's a nice place for a treat, but not ideal if you're on a budget or looking for a regular shop for your daily coffee!

The extensive selection of wines and gins is impressive, making it one of the few bars worth travelling over an hour to experience. For serious wine and spirit enthusiasts, this is a must-visit destination.

Happened upon this place by chance and very glad we did ... great breakfast at a reasonable price along with very friendly and efficient service. Would go back in a heartbeat.

lovely pub, very clean and welcoming. Staff friendly and attentive. Went out of their way to help. Food was great, tasty and good value.

Just had the mushrooms on sourdough with Morcilla. Flavour was amazing. Recommend extra bacon too.

I think £2.95 for a tin of diet coke is daylight robbery. The tea and small piece of millionaires shortbread came to over £10.00

Came in with family. Place was busy and staff pleasant but the place was dysfunctional. More staff needed perhaps. Coffee was bitter and tepid. Shame because the decor is nice and place is comfortable (were it not for the trays of dirty cups and plates).

The young girl behind the till was very abrupt with us and rude when I placed my order. £6.50 for a frappe is a lot too-it wasn’t even served with a smile or a thank you. It was tasty but the customer service let it down

A great little cafe. Great coffee and the small range of snacks are all very tasty. The staff put the effort in to make you feel comfortable. It's a pity it's not right in the centre of the High Street but don't let that put you off.

Great sandwich and great coffee. Service was exceptional and welcoming for our dog too. The Vanilla Bun was a great way to end our time!
